The moon is a spaceship and fly's off into space at the end of the movie

The moon in the movie is hollow and has an atmosphere and cities inside of it and seems to be more of a man made spaceship than a moon. It's really stupid sounding but at the end Tonari says that he will move the moon far enough away so that he will never be able to bother Earth again so he implies he simply fly's it off into space and Earth has a moon no more how interesting.

The thing is the fake moon seems smaller than our moon and with it being hollow it would have much less gravity than a solid moon mean its tidal effects are probably very small. Also I can't be certain Tonari didn't simply move the moon back into its original orbit after he moved it close or simply went to space but either way it is interesting.
