A tactical use of FTG can be very effective against Pain, and if Deva (the only difficult to handle Pain) gets marked, it's not a very difficult win for Minato, since he can be defeated in the 5 sec cool down time and the rest of them can be handled by FTG even without the markings on their body.

If anything, Pain is way too strong for SM Naruto. Just because he won the fight doesn't mean he is stronger than Pain, LMAO. A weakened and low on chakra Pain (Deva Path only) was manhandling SM Naruto and incapacitated him pretty easily. Even after Naruto went Kyuubi rage mode, that weakened and low on chakra Deva Pain could fight on par with him till the six tails, and even then he sealed him. He only lost the upper hand when Naruto went up to eight tailed form and broke free of the CT, and that also because Pain was extremely weakened by then.

I don't see how KCM Naruto was "stronger" than SM+FTG Minato. Yes, he can be around the same level, but not stronger. True that Minato's proficiency and capability with SM is lacking, but it's not totally useless either.

Naruto conceded that Team Kakashi couldn't defeat Pre-Hebi Sasuke based on how he performed against them which excluded Cursed Seal Enhancements. That's rather huge considering Kakashi is one of the strongest Elite Jonin in the village given his performance against Itachi in comparison to Asuma and Kurenai.

Far superior? Obviously not. If Hebi Sasuke did not have CM, he'd be the same level as Fugaku presumably, maybe slightly stronger. Only his CM safely puts him above Fugaku.

And how do you know Team Kakashi could defeat Fugaku that easily? The reason why Sasuke performed so well against Team Kakashi was because everyone aside from Yamato were fodders. Pre-SM Naruto, fodder. Sakura, fodder. Sai, fodder.

And if Kakashi was involved, Sasuke would definitely require the Curse Mark to compete with Team Kakashi. And that version of Sasuke is above Fugaku.
