ok so we know the power up with the sharingan, so why does the final stage of the sharingan the rennegn?
because the so6p rennegan is the ultimate eye, an his first son had a eye power also, so then why is the older sons eye not a stage in the sharingan?
because in reality it suppose to b sharingan-ms-ems-older sons eyes-rennegan.
its like the sharingan skipped a stage ,because it suppose to b u achieve the older son eye after ems,then u achieve the rennegan.

sharingan is simply a mutation.

For instance,

If an uchiha makes a kid with a non-uchiha, there's a chance of the kid being born with a mutation of the sharingan, depending on the non-uchiha's DNA.

The rinnegan being aquired by Madara, was simply the result of Madara pursuing Hashirama's wood to get his DNA.

the older son had rinnegan and sharingan came along AFTER SO6P made younger son the leader ems came from madara story period. nowhere did it tell them to steal siblings eyes, tho it does look diff. i think kishi's will put a twist in somewhere.

Here's the rub... The younger brother founded the Uchiha clan who now posses the Sharingan while the elder brother founded the Senju clan who now posses??? no missing eye.

With that said we know that the reason the older son doesnt also posses ocular powers is because he recieved the yang portion of the sages chakra, his body. This is why people with senju dna can reduce the time limitation of jutsu, much like how danzo was able to use shisuis eye within an hour while it was suppose to be unusable for 10 years after using it. Senju posses the body, Uchiha posses the Eye, together they form the rinnegan.
