The scientists discovered some verses in the Holy Qur’an that mention one thing is equal to another, i.e. men are equal to women.

Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times the word man appears in the Qur’an is 24 and number of times the word woman appears is also 24, therefore not only is this phrase correct in the grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24 = 24.

Upon further analysis of various verses, he discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole Qur’an, where it says one thing is like another. See below for astonishing result of the words mentioned number of times in Arabic Qur’an:

Dunya (one name for life) 115. Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115

Malaika (Angels) 88. Shayteen (Satan) 88

Life 145.... Death 145

Benefit 50. Corrupt 50

People 50... Messengers 50

Eblees (king of devils) 11. Seek refuge from Eblees 11

Museebah (calamity) 75. Thanks 75

Spending (Sadaqah) 73. Satisfaction 73

People who are mislead 17. Dead people 17

Muslimeen 41. Jihad 41

Gold 8. Easy life 8

Magic 60. Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60

Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32. Barakah (Increasing or blessings of wealth) 32

Mind 49. Noor 49

Tongue 25. Sermon 25

Desire 8. Fear 8

Speaking publicly 18. Publicizing 18

Hardship 114.... Patience 114

Muhammad 4. Sharee'ah (Muhammad's teachings) 4

Man 24. Woman 24

And amazingly enough have a look how many times the following words appear:

Salah 5, Month 12, Day 365

Sea 32, Land 13

Sea + land = 32+13= 45

Sea = 32/45*100=71.11111111%

Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%

Sea + land =100.00%

Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111% of the earth, while the land covers 28.889%.
Is this a coincidence?

there are thousends of stuff like this all over religions and text books. it's not only in the quran. apperently the dimensions of one of the great pyramids of egypt is PI, the number 666 is somehow evil and connected to satan or "the beast", the 13 of every month that lands on a friday is an evil day. in arabic traditions the number 5 is protective because it's the same number of fingers on the hand (hamza). people think that every time 911 occurs there will be a terrorist attack, and people have gone crazy believing that everything that happens in the world is connected to the number 23.

the most remarkable thing i've seen to be honset is someone writing a piece of code with exactly 1337 bytes for a programming contest.

edit: i saw a movie once where a girl yelled at her boyfriend for not buying roses in the number of months they have been together. it was fictional of course but it helps show what i think of obsession over "magical" numbers.

no, they concern you trying to look for hidden meaning where there is none. miracles are only needed for those that are unsure of their belief. if you truly believe in the quran then you wouldn't need magical numbers in it, and no muslim should need them.

but none of this will help, and i don't want to get into a fight here, so i will end it in this post.

The ignorance on the base has been strong today. What he just said has no specific significance to the OP seeing as he is a Muslim which means he already believes in everything that the Qur'an teaches, but he's pointing on the "interesting" facts the scripture has in it retaining modern science information.

And miracles are not for people unsure of their belief. Miracles are either two things; completely random events that seem so spontaneous that it completely shocks logic or (in my opinion) a god send that is a sign for people who don't believe in something. Like take the story of Jesus' birth from Virgin Mary. Many individuals did not believe he was the Messiah, but by being born from a virgin, this points to two things; ****ing witchcraft or something much higher (or she really did have *** but that's another discussion for another day lel).

A lot of those comparisons are really pushing it. You could probably take any book, count the occurrences of a bunch of words/terms and pair them together into somewhat related matches. It's similar to how there are a lot of weird coincidences between Abraham Lincoln and JFK or how a lot of the people or events related to the September 11th attacks are linked to the number 11. The fact is, with any book, movie, event, etc. that garners a significant amount of attention, many people will look for odd coincidences and they will do so successfully; it's the nature of statistics. When there is a lot of data involved, you have a lot of chances to find something interesting.

I don't see how this involves science or scientists. Religion rarely does as it is fath based. It would fit better if it said scholars counted words as there was no experiment done.
