Madara, along with Orochimaru, Tobirama and Kabuto know how Edo Tensei works. Madara learned about this kinjutsu from Tobirama.

So when Obito comes along, why not teach Obito how to do the Edo Tensei, then kill yourself, then Obito resurrects him, then he severs the tie with the caster and sim-sala-bim, OP Madara in tha house!

Oh and 16 years ago when Obito attacked Konoha, why didn't he bring Kurama back to Madara???? He was sucking chakra from the Gedo statue to stay alive, if he would have become the 9 tails host he would be powerfull again!

I made a thread with the question of how Madara found out. I'm not sure if Tobirama told him or not. Maybe he just didn't think Obito needed to know?

Because Madara did not wish to be resurrected in Edo form! - the first thing he said when he came out of the coffin, was this is not how I wished to be ressurrected, but It'll do for now. Madara wanted obito to use Gedo Rinnei Tensei to revive him "when the time is right" they had it planned out, that was afterall part of their mooneye plan.

And to do that - he needed a pawn, in this case Nagato, however nagato used the Revival jutsu on konoha instead!!

If obito brought madara back to life thru edo tensei, then that would mean obito then had control over madara, do u really think madara would want that? The only reason madara broke out of edo tensei was because kabuto was out of commission and couldn't do anything about it. If obito resurrected madara, then obito could freely control madara, and madara wouldn't be able to do squat about it.

I think Madara didn't teach Obito ET because he most likely didn't trust Obito enough to realease it. I mean Madara would be at Obito's mercy which is not what he wanted. That and Madara wanted to be Alive, not an undead immortal man. Because being immortal is just unfair to the protagonists.

Also how was Obito supposed to bring a Giant ass 9 tailed monster to Madara and not have anyone notice? He doesn't have the chakra to warp it, and walking it isn't an option. Also Minato was all on top of him during the attack. That and I think having Gedo appear would just cause more of a shitstorm than necessary and Minato would of probably RDS'd him at that point.
