Chapter 9 – Two Revolvers
Gunshots are suddenly heard from the direction of the hotel, and both Skylar and the Lieutenant stop fighting.
Lieutenant John: Hmpf, seems like my sergeants finally found the other outsider…
Skylar: The other outsider? (Seems like Luke is in danger… but I can’t help him now… I have to beat this guy first… and quickly!)
Skylar looks at his wounded hand, and creates a small amount of electricity around it. It’s quiet, and the only sound is the gunshots from the hotel.
Skylar: I don’t have time for this… let’s end this quickly!
A big amount of electricity surrounds Skylar, and sparks around him. People inside their houses start looking out their windows to see what’s happening.
Lieutenant John: Electricity? I see… So that’s your disgusting Milit power.
Alice is behind a small barrel, watching the fight. She looks at Skylar in surprise, knowing now that he is a Milit.
Skylar: Yeah, let’s do this…
-The scene switches to the hotel-
The two twin sergeants stop firing their machine guns, and look around.
Sergeant Tom: Do you see him Tim?
Sergeant Tim: Yes Tom, he is behind that table…
Both Luke and the hotel owner Sarah are behind a tilted table, hiding from the two sergeants. Sarah looks around the destroyed room in shock.
Luke: Damn, who the hell are they..?
Sarah: That’s the twin sergeants Tim and Tom! They must know you were friendly with Alice… they came here to kill you!
Luke looks over the table, and the twin brothers immediately starts firing again.
Luke: So they just walk in and start shooting?! All these guys from The Military Force seem crazy!
Luke takes up his two revolvers, and prepares to fight.
Sarah: You have guns!? Who the hell are you guys!?
Luke smiles, and loads his revolvers.
Luke: Oh, we are just a small cowboy group without a name and bounty…
Luke throws one of his revolvers up in the air.
Sergeant Tim: Huh? Giving up now? Hahahaha!
Luke aims his gun at the revolver in the air, and shoots when it’s pointed at one of the sergeants. The bullet he fires hits the trigger, and the revolver in the air fires off, shooting Sergeant Tom in the head.
Sergeant Tim: Tom!!
The sergeant turns around and looks at his dead brother’s body, shot in the head. He turns around again to try shooting Luke with his Machine Gun.
Sergeant Tim: You basta-
The sergeant stops in shock. Luke is right in front of him with both of his revolvers aimed at him.
Luke: I know the strength of both sergeants and lieutenants, and let me tell you this…
He shoots the sergeant between the eyes, and a small amount of blood hits Luke’s face.
Luke: … You guys are nothing. Only weak little soldiers…
Sergeant Tim falls to the ground next to his lifeless brother. Luke puts away his revolvers, and lifts up both the dead bodies.
Luke: Let’s go.
Sarah stands up in shock, and looks at all the blood on the floor.
Sarah: G-go where?
Luke looks at her and sighs. Blood drips down from his face, and he starts walking out of the room.
Luke: To Skylar of course… The Lieutenant is probably after him…
She runs along, and they walk out the half destroyed hotel to find Skylar.
Luke: Oh, by the way, can you carry one of the bodies? This is pretty heavy…
Sarah: N-no way I'm doing that, you Idiot!!
