Chapter 32 - "The River News"
Luke walks down one of the long streets in the big city with the newspaper he just bought from a saleswoman from one of many shops around him. He quickly sits down on a bench nearby and starts to read “The River News”, which is the name and the most popular newspaper on The River Island.
Luke: Nothing new these days? Been kind of quiet-
He suddenly notice an article some pages into it, and immediately starts to read the whole thing with big interest. It’s a whole page about The Sand Cowboys who attacked the small town Lisfro some days ago.
Luke: (“The small-famous cowboy group of four people, The Sand Cowboys, was today said to be arrested earlier this week in Lisfro. They were turned in by the civilians in the city after claiming they found them heavily beaten up. The Military Force doesn’t deny that there can be another unknown cowboy group involved, and are further investigating the case.”)
A small, but loud enough laugh is heard from a smiling Luke; who is continuing to read the rest of the article with a smile.
Luke: (“It’s also unknown if the incident in Lisfro is connected to the one in Fahra the week before, where the Lieutenant and his group of soldiers in the town was found beaten by most likely an unknown cowboy group.”)
The newspaper is thrown on the ground by Luke the moment he is finished, and is now heading towards the meeting place where he is supposed to meet the others.
-The scene switches to a bit down the street-
A big man walks towards a small group of 4 people, and immediately gives one of them some paper when he is in front of them. The one who was given the papers starts to read for himself in several seconds before he quietly throws them away.
???: Are you sure about this? One mistake can ruin everything, and you know the boss hates mistakes…
A nod and smile comes from the big man who gave them the papers; making the others smile too before leaving their current location.
???: So it’s on the south side of the city…
-The scene switches to Skylar-
Skylar runs through one of the many alleys on his search for Lance, rumored to be the best blacksmith in Sago. He is now on the south side of the city, and looks in every corner; searching excitedly for Lance’s workshop.
Skylar: Where is it? Where is it?? Where is it???
He suddenly stops up and looks in the direction of an old workshop with a big sign close to its roof. The name mentions Lance, so he runs off towards it without hesitation; hoping to find his dream blacksmith.
Skylar: “Lance’s workshop”? Finally, this must be it!
Most of the workshop is made out of stone like most of the houses in the city, and it looks somewhat old after the first glance. He walks in the well-made entrance; yelling out to the owner of the shop immediately.
Skylar: Hellooo!? Someone there!?
A small boy appears after some seconds with some tools in his hands, and his face and clothes are filled with dirt after signs of him working. He puts away his tools the second he looks at Skylar.
Boy: What can I do for you?
