(The group has arrived to the capital of River Island...)
Chapter 30 - "Sago, The capital of River Island"
Skylar and the group can’t believe their eyes when they look at the capital of River Island. The city is as wide as the eye can see, and it has a big castle in the middle which seems to be the second largest building. Most of the city houses are made of stone, and the long streets are filled with people.
Skylar: A-awesome!!
They all stand outside of the city admiring it from top to toe. Skylar is more excited than he was before with his eyes flashing like stars, and seems to be ready to run into it without warning.
Mia: Seems like the rumors I’ve heard is true… The Royal family of River Island uses all their money on this city; forgetting or simply don’t care about all the other towns and cities… This is why River Island is also seen as the poorest place in the whole world.
Some of them look at the big castle where the Royal family lives, and others like Skylar only care about getting into the city as fast as possible.
Skylar: Let’s go, let’s go! We need to find a perfect blacksmith to make us the cowboy emblem!
Luke: …Shouldn’t we care about our cowboy group name first?
-20 Minutes later in the city-
Alice looks around the street while the others seem to be discussing something. There are several homeless people on the streets; sleeping under their dirty clothes or eating old food.
Mia: Red hair! Are you listening!?
Alice turns around after looking at them in some minutes; surprises and scared by Mia’s sudden yelling. Mia makes sure she is listening before she starts explaining again.
Mia: Okay Skylar, we all know you want to find the emblem, but someone also have to find some supplies or other stuff...
Everyone nods at her explanation except Skylar who still looks around the crowded city in excitement; making sure to run off immediately when she is finished.
Mia: So we all split up so you can find your “perfect” blacksmith to make the emblem, then we all meet here at this exact place, okay?
As planned; Skylar runs off laughing with his arms waving around in the air; leaving the others behind while looking for a skilled blacksmith.
Skylar: Hahahaha! Blacksmith, here I come!
The others split up too for themselves either looking for supplies or simply want to explore the town.
Mia: Seems like I’m for myself then… (Maybe I can buy myself a pack of smoke or something…)
She watches the others run off before starts walking down one of the long streets; looking around for something interesting when she suddenly notice an old man selling some books.
Salesman: I got new and old books! Come and buy them before they are gone!
She immediately walks over to him, and starts looking at the books he is selling; hoping to find one she can buy to herself.
Salesman: Hello there Missy! Looking for something in particular??
Mia searches some more before she answers the question the salesman seems to be used to ask his customers.
Mia: No, I’m just-
She suddenly notices a book behind a bunch of others, and takes it up after looking at it in several seconds. It’s a red, somewhat old book with a title written in white letters.
Mia: …This book…
