Chapter 25 - "I Won't let you touch them..!"
Several bullets fly through the barrel Luke still hides behind; fired by the Sand Cowboy Kace. The barrel is half destroyed by being hit by most of the bullets; also almost hitting Luke more than once.
Luke: (I can use “that” tactic… Not simple, but worth a try.)
He looks through one of the holes in the barrel; looking at Kace who’s laughing and shooting with his shotgun at the same time.
Kace: What’s the matter!? Too scared to show your face no-
His weapon suddenly stops firing, and has now been drained for ammunition. A pack of bullets is immediately taken up by Kace, who is now starting to reload his gun.
Luke: (… and I doubt just shooting straight at him would work…)
He takes up some of some of the bullets Kace has been using to shoot earlier, and quickly throws it towards his now reloading enemy.
Kace: (What’s he up to now? Does he really think he can distract me with those bullets..?)
The bullets are some meters away from his face after a few seconds, and Luke suddenly aims at him.
Kace: (So that is his plan after all… I just have to forget the bullets, and dodge his shots…)
Kace immediately jumps away to his side to dodge when he hears gunshots from Luke. The gunshots hit the bullets in the air; destroying them into several pieces, which sends them flying all over the street.
Kace: (What!?)
Some of the pieces fly towards Kace; hitting him several places on his body, including his eyes; making him scream in pain on the ground while rubbing his now red eyeballs.
Kace: Shit, my eyes!!
He suddenly hears steps closing in on him, and tries to crawls away with his shotgun. The steps come from Luke; who is now walking calmly towards Kace.
Luke: Hmpf, That was easier than I thought it would be…
-The scene switches to Skylar-
Slate punches Skylar several times in the face with his sand covered fists, and sends him flying into the wall with the last blow. He falls to the ground after coughing up a small amount of blood, and fails to stand up more than once.
Slate takes a few steps backwards, and sweeps away some of Skylar’s blood from his hand; not taking his eyes off his enemy who is now lying on the ground.
Slate: Now I just have to kill those other members of your cowboy group… Oh, and that bartender lady is also going to pay for what she did and said about cowboys…
He starts walking away from Skylar and is about to leave the house they are fighting in. More coughing is heard behind him, and he looks behind in curiosity.
Skylar: You think *cough* I’m just going to watch while you talk about hurting my members..?
Skylar is now standing some meters behind him with blood and sweat in his face, and an extremely big amount of electricity covers his hand; sparking and twisting around it. Slate turns around as a reflex, but can’t do anything else than try to protect himself.
Skylar: …I will never let you touch them!!
Skylar stretches out his arm towards Slate, and a laser made of electricity immediately shoots out from it; hitting Slate in less than a second.
