I found many players in mafia like to asked for protection inside the uncertain situation(in the First DP mostly) but no one ever asked for a Confirmation(Investigation).

If you block that request @Oreki_Houtarou that means you're not allowing Townie to know who is their ally(other townie). So what that makes you?

We have 16 players, not including Drago. And in those 16 players, 4 probably are mafia and 2 probably are 3rd. So if invest gonna start invest all town in order to make a good alliance, in the meantime mafia probably be standing as the winner.

I do get a town vibe from Ansatsuken from the beginning, as how attacking he seems to be right now to find the scum or confirm other's role, if he hadn't changed his playstyle that is.
About,
Oreki, he doesn't seem to be cool right now. After getting pointed by Ansatsuken. Unlike zorro who is chilled.

Michelle seems pretty decent as to why she seems relaxed about getting investigated.

Unless, Ansatsuken is partnerd with Michelle in the "Shark Company" and trying to put on a show of being innocent. Too early to make a judgement right now. The probability of them being in any faction is identically similar.

Let's wait for others to get in here.

We are not just standing idle, doing nothing inside every DP and only waiting for NP m8. We observe, read players, looking for clue inside every DP.

And one fact you missed is that invest have higher chance to find town inside their investigation than Scum. It because Town formed a majority of players in Mafia. Players that play like a Scum could be a Town. So by investigating that Player and know about their true alignment that would help in clearing up that player.
