The Massacre, and my reason why.

okay, so most of you know the story tobi/obito told Sasuke to keep him in the darkness, that the village ordered the massacre because they suspected the uchiha and they're eye techniques.

well, its been on my mind, and i just want to make sure that everyone has an idea of what really happened.

Obito knew that the Uchiha were against Madara and his ideals. Obito also knew that the uchiha were beginning to feel like they were being given the runaround by the higherups. (side note, i don't know why Fugaku named Sasuke after Sasuke Sarutobi if he was planning to take over the village, which means that something must of happened to make him decide to plan of attack.)

Obito could of used the Uchiha but he also knew that if the Uchiha were found to be co-operating with the one known as the God of the Uchiha, his plans would of been ruined and all would be lost.

so in order to preserve his plan, he would use the suspicion of the people from the nine-tails attack against the Uchiha and kill them off, therefore ridding the world from any chance of survival. Reason, if the uchiha were alive, they would be the ultimate defence against Obito and Madara.

so in summary, for Obito to succeed in his plans, the only most sensible defence against an Uchiha would be an Uchiha. and taking away a mans shield is an advantage for you.

i agree , i dont think all the uchihas were bad , that woul've been a problem for foddito & madara .. thats why they killed them ..

Actually you are somehow right...
I mean, you know as they say, in order to fight the enemy, you must hit them with their own weapon, or something like that.
Well, Obito took them that weapon.
