when i first saw the mask i thought to make a thread about it. But then i was like naw im to lazy.

My opinion, is the mask may be modeled after the shinigami, who may be modedled after the sage.

I'm not saying this is 100% sure, but it makes you think. When you scale the mask to fit the sage's eyes the horns match like a glove... Then this got me thinking.. the DRS has shown to be able to seal bijuu size chakra. Could it be possible that it could seal Juubi size as well? Was that what allowed the Sage to seal the Juubi in the first place? Does the Sage, just like Nagato have the power to master death? Is that why the Uchiha Table was needed for the ceremony?

Was it thorough the eyes of the Sage (Rinnegan) that Madara learned not only about the Juubi but also about how to seal it? Does Madara know the DRS as well?

have you also seen the thread of bogard that minatos coat flaming design look like the flames from uzumaki where the mask were located.
