As they neared the throne they shall a dark skinned man wearing a floor length robe. Panda be cautious drew her bow. Once they got close they noticed an axe lodged into his head.
"I-is he dead" Dino asked
"Seems so" Cloud answered
At that moment a man in a blue suit and hat seemed to appear out of nowhere right next to the throne holding the fox spirit. The sudden appearance of the man startled panda causing her to draw and fire at the man. The man not even flinching moves his head to the side letting the arrow fly right past his head.
"Nice aim. Your speed needs a little work" He said with a smile.
"Who are you" Cloud said threateningly
"I'd drop that tone if i was you" The man said. "I go by many names. Depending on where you ask you will get a different name." The man answered
"Well what should we call you" Cloud asked
"Call me anything you want to, it matters not to me" The man said as he turned to the dead body.
He reaches down and removes the axe from the wizards skull and tosses it to panda.
"Seems that could come in handy." The man said
Panda catches the axe and swings its once, twice testing the weight and feel and much to her surmise it seems like the axe was made for her.
Then turning back to the body the man then removes a chain from around the bodies neck. The chain is a simple chain nothing special about it but attached to the chain is the symbol for love. He tosses this to dino.
"Hold onto that, it'll be helpful later on" the man said with a voice that sounded like he knew what would happen. "Now the next part of your journey you should head to the town of Aoi. There find the strange girl and show her that pendant." The man ordered
"Now Pl im guessing you wanna go after the one who brought you back" The man asked
"Read my funking mind" Pl smirked
"Alright you may stay in the world of the living for the time being" The man said "Now how about we take the easy way to the entrance to the tower." The man said as he let out a small laugh.
"Would be nice" Dino thought.
As dino thought this the man looked straight at hee and nodded like he had heard her thought. He then approached the heroes, taking the two girls by the hand and telling the guys to place there hand on his shoulder.
"This won't be enjoyable" The man said with a devious smile.
Before they could wonder what he meant they disappeared and reappeared at the entrance of the tower. The man they looked at each of them. He was surprised that they didn't seem to be affected by the sudden movement. At that moment Pl turned a greenish color and ran a short distance and vomited. The man cracked a smile as the others started to laugh. As they finished laughing and turned to thank the man he had disappeared.
"Dammit" Dino said under her breathe.
