Sorry hun. Sasuke is the only person who makes this manga worth a damn at the moment.
To the Itachi point- there's no question that Sasuke is selfish. It's as if only his feelings count. Forget Itachi's reasons for doing what he did, no, only Sasuke's pain from losing him matters. ha said, they guy did pause and think about his decision eventually. In the end, he did make the right decision. Give him some credit.
Regarding the curse mark stunting his growth part- yes, that was the rule but Sasuke was the exception.....and now that we know he's Indra's reincarnation, it makes sense that he could handle it without any negative effects.
I agree that his supposedly being a lone wolf yet forming a group is contradictory...blame Kishi's editors for that....from what I understand, Kishi intended him to be a lone wolf but the editors thought it would be boring....now we're expected to force ourselves to buy the lone wolf bull shit and rationalize it with theories about him only using them....meanwhile, he clearly cared about them when they were fighting Killer Bee....
On the whim points- Sasuke DID not kill Naruto on a whim....at first he intended to kill him, but at the end when he was standing over Naruto he had a choice to kill him and decided that he wasn't going to be Itachi's puppet. That's what he says anyway, but after that emotional fight, the whim thing is just an excuse. The truth is he cared about Naruto. As for the confrontation, Sasuke doesn't care to kill, but he will kill whoever gets in the way of his goal, so I don't see this being bull shit like you suggest.
Tbh even before getting into context (which has more faults than the character you are obsessing over) i have to say you abuse thesaurus yet can not make much sense with those words. Nobody has perfect grammar or word knowledge here so no need to be pretencious to make it seem like you have the utmost opinions on what you talk about. You strike out to be a tryhard.
Also when i clicked your latest posts they are mostly in Sasuke threads. Stop obsessing over him if he rustles you this much. There are a lot to talk about in this manga asides from how much Sasuke sucks in your opinion, base is for sharing opinions but no need for logging in for hating.
Btw most characters in your faves list are either poor or meh. From that alone i can question how you view a character.
Note: and i can still tell the quality of a Naruto/Sasuke thread by the ones who thanked it.
I loved this, it's funny how most ppl claiming you're but hurt have Sasuke avvys, I think we all know who's really but hurry from this thread.
I read this post in it's entirety, and I agree. While I don't HATE him, I don't love him either. He's interesting in some ways because of his connection to Naruto (he made Naruto grow, indirectly) and I do want to see where he is heading after all of this. However, he has too many ridiculous "feats" under his belt. (They aren't all feats, it's half asspull as stated above).
For all of you on here saying "too long, didn't read" you shouldn't be on a forum if you're too lazy to read something.. which is the whole basis of a forum. And anyone saying the OP is butthurt, I think you're the one butthurt with the plain facts in your face. No one is going to look down on you for liking him as a character, but the amount of praise he gets is just beyond unjustified.
The one thing I dislike about him is that he hasn't really had to work that much to get to where he is. Compared to Naruto and the rest of the K11... Even Itachi practiced daily. All he's had to do is sort things out after people TOLD him answers. Just such a waste for the most part.
I would have made Sasuke, after he killed Itachi, seek more answers rather than going off to kill off everyone in the Leaf. I would have liked to see him grain knowledge of the situation on his own accord rather than having to have Itachi talk to him directly and making him want to rethink things.
