The mangekyou

It is said that once you unlock the magekyou sharingan and its two abilities tsukuyomi and amaterasu you unlock susano'o and some characters have unlocked their own abilities like shisui with kotoamatsukami and obito/kakashi with kamui. Now I understand why obito has not unlocked susano'o but surely he should have unlocked one of the two base techniques also. Unless I am missing something I'm pretty sure that both shisui and obito should have at least unlocked one of the 3 abilities that come with the mangekyou

i think everyone is kinda specialized in a technique..itachi had tsukuyomi (we have yet to see another uchiha use tsukuyomi) sasukes speciality is amaterasu, shisui had a special genjutsu and obito has s/t jutsu.. im not sure though, since the manga once stated that both are required o obtain susanoo.. who knows, maybe it was a mistranslation^^

He DID NOT anywhere state (nor does anyone else in this mange) that Tsukiyomi and Amaterasu are the specific requirements for Susano. Sasuke has Kagutsuchi, Amaterasu and Susano. Itachi has Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi & Susano. Obito would of had Susano if he had his second eye. Madara has Tsukiyomi, an unknown jutsu and Susano.

I am pretty sure it does take the two techniques amaterasu and tsukuyomi for one to unlock the susano'o. This is a paragraph from narutopedia= "Susanoo, also known as the Tempestuous God of Valour (勇武の荒神, Yūbu no Aragami), is the third ability granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan to those who awaken the abilities Tsukuyomi — which symbolises the "darkness of the spiritual world" and Amaterasu — which denotes the "light of the material world". " Sasuke used tsukuyo,i in his fight with danzo. Episodes 208-211.

Every sharingan comes with a different ability if you listen to itachi when he speaks to sasuke when he's little he tells hi that he thinks that he has the same eyes as him and that only two other uchiha had ever had the power Madara and his brother.
