The man with the mask who calls himself madara might be like the smoke monster from lost,the reason why i say this is because like in naruto in lost there's good and evil white and black and so on and in the naruto manga where konan battles madara she called madara the darkness and naruto the light anyway back to lost if you've seen lost do you remember in lost season 4 when locke got off the island and ben killed him then in lost season 5 when jack and the rest of the survivors who left the island had to go back but in order for them to go back the conditions have to be the same as they were when they first crashed on the island and obviously locke was alive when they first crashed on the island and jack brought his dads dead body on the plane because he had to go to sydney for his dads funeral,but they crashed on an island and the coffin was broken and the body was missing,well in order for jack and the others to go back to the island jack had to bring lockes dead body not only that but he had to give his dads shoes to the desceased locke anyway they got to the island and realised that not only did they arrive back on the island but they arrived in 1960/70 something and locke aswell as the wreckage from the plane was missing and half of the people that went back to the island was on the same island but in the present where they saw a very much alive locke who just like in naruto with tobi was able to fuel peoples hatred and turn them bad ,not only that like tobi in naruto locke lied about the reason why he is somehow alive and locke and ben went to the temple to speak to jacob and jacob spoke to locke as if they knew each other and while they were in the temple lockes followers waited outside and were shocked when they found a container of some kind which had the real lockes dead body in it and it turned out that the man who calls himself locke is the smoke monster and hundreds or thousands of years before anyone crashed on the island jacob who wore white was talking to a man who wore black who told jacob that he'll find a loop hole and when he does he will kill jacob and guess what he found his loophole he found out locke was dead and appeared on the island as locke and told everyone that he is locke then he went to jacobs temple and killed jacob and when that happened and jack found out that the man calling himself locke is actually the smoke monster, both jack (white) and the smoke monster as locke (black) plotted to kill each other and so both of them got people to choose whose side they're on and it turned out that for hundreds of years since the time of jacob and the man who wore black(smoke monster) there has been a continuos cycle of battles between good vs evil just like in naruto with the senju and uchihas cycle of hatred and and near the end of lost season 6 jack found out that jacob knew he was going to die and waited for hundreds of years to find a candidate to replace him and protect the island from the smoke monster and jack found a cave and in the cave he found 1 black stone and 1 white stone as well as names including jacks name engraved on the wall and the names that werent crossed out were potential candidates to take jacobs place and at the end jack found out that he's destined to take his place now jacobs dead and both jack and the smoke monster battled each other in a final showdown between good vs evil. I know this thread is long but there are things from naruto that kind of mirror what happened in lost, i don't know if this makes sense but what i'm trying to say is that eveyone believed madara uchiha was dead until a mysterious masked man turned up and told people that he is madara uchiha and that he survived the battle with hashirama.Tobi/madara also manipulted people for example nagato and sasuke and when he found naruto who was in the land of iron he told naruto and kakashi and yamato who showed up soon afet tobi/madaras arrival at the cabin where naruto was resting and told them about the sage of six paths, his son's and the cycle of hatred between senju and uchiha and that natuto and sasuke are destined to battle each other to the death then left for the kage summit where he told the kages to give him the remaining jinchuriki or there will be war, they refused his offer and so he declared the fourth great ninja war, As we know the alliance who are fighting tobi/madaras army and they are
