The madara at the cave

Plz can some one explain? I don't get it. this whole thing about the madara at the cave with obito and the edo madara. what happened to the one at the cave. Kabuto can only summon a dead shinobi but at one point in the manga during revealing tobi's real identity we saw that he was obito who we all thought was dead but suprise suprise he isn't and the one who saved him was madara the old man at the cave so did he die at the cave then was summoned by Kabuto or what

Madara was dead by the time of Naruto's genin years. He was summoned back in an Edo form by the time of 4th Ninja War. He died before he was summoned back in an Edo form. His death is unknown at the moment. In the manga that is an old age Madara in a flashback.

welcome to base, old Madara saved Obito's like when the rock crushed him, he raised him and gave him senju cells, now Obito grown as Tobi who claimed to be Madara, later Kabuto made some special edo tensei to revive Madara as a young man, rather than his old self, now edo Madara Joined Obito against, Naruto, B, Kakashi and Gai

He apparently died when Nagato summoned the Gedo out of that cave when Yahiko died... I know it's far fetched but disconnecting from the Gedo could be the only reason for Madara's death... nobody knew he was alive so it's kinda hard to believe somebody else wanted him dead... :|

The one we saw in the recent chapter was him at his oldest most likely. In a few chapters we will most likely see how he died.
The reason the revived one doesnt look like it is because Kabuto revived him in his prime somehow.
