So there are a lot of threads, and a ton of people fighting over Kabuto and Muu saying who the hell really summoned Edo Madara. The answer simply is none of them.
Madara Uchiha was resurrected by Orochimaru. He had three coffins ready when he attacked Konoha. It is important to note that he did not perform Edo Tensei on Hashirama and Tobirama while talking to Hiruzen Sarutobi rather he just summoned their corpses. He had them resurrected earlier itself. Hiruzen stopped the third coffin from being summoned and not being resurrected as we all know it is not possible to stop Edo Tensei in the same way Hiruzen stopped the summoning of the coffin which was just a normal Kyuchiose.
People seem to believe that the fourth coffin contained Minato, but that is not possible. Orochimaru, while performing Edo Tensei, would have noticed that Minato's soul was not in the other world and hence it was not possible to summon him. It was actually Madara and Orochimaru and Kabuto perfected him either before or after their attack on Konoha, exactly when is unknown.
Now coming to why Kabuto is able to control/summon/enable Madara in Edo form even when he was not the one to perform Edo Tensei on him. The reason is Anko Mitarashi.
He had Madara and other people's corpses ready for a while but he did not face Tobi until he was sure that he had his ace ready. That was when he captured Anko. Anko has Orochimaru's chakra and that was vital for Kabuto to have control over Madara. Once he had her in his control, he immediately went up to Tobi with the offer of an alliance.
So even after undoing Edo Tensei, Kabuto still will have control over Madara, who of course will not disappear, until someone wrests Anko from Kabuto's control. Anko is the key to defeating Edo Madara.
