My Opinion -
This album is legendary. Kanye west amazes me. After MDTF i didn't know if he could do anything close to that level. Then he dropped Yeezus, which despite the bad reception was still good in my opinion.
When I heard he was doing a Gospel album, I was skeptical, and it turned out to be a sort of a Rap-Gospel album i guess. "Pablo" in the title was neither Escobar nor Picasso, but St. Paul of Tarsus ("Pablo" in Spanish) or more commonly known as Paul the Apostle.
Paul the Apostle (Greek: Παῦλος Paulos; c. 5 – c. 67), original name Saul of Tarsus (Greek: Σαῦλος Ταρσεύς Saulos Tarseus), was an apostle (though not one of the Twelve Apostles) who taught the gospel of Christ to the first-century world.
That could symbolize a lot of things, and if you listen to his album, they synths almost sound like a struggle or battle between Love and Hate ( Light and Dark ) and Love overcomes his Hatred. I sensed a real change from this Kanye and the Kanye we knew 3 years ago.
