"Indeed I am, but not for long. Now quickly, finish this fight while you still can, seal me away for good..."
Kabuto: What's the matter, lost your tongue Naruto-Kun??
Naruto: No, I think I just regained it!
On Naruto's back, a holstered sword slowly appeared, as if by magic, as Naruto knew what the Sage meant by his words.
Kabuto: Hah, we'll see about that!
Naruto: Let's see what you can possibly throw at me this time!!
Kabuto: Oh I will... I will show you the true power of the Savior of this World, the God of Shinobi!
As he shouted, the eyes of the Sage turned red again as a massive source of chakra shot out of him.
Naruto: ...
SoSP: Kuchiyose, Rikudō no Jutsu (Summoning, Six Paths Technique)!
Beside him, six other bodies appeared, all of which had similar appearance as the Sage himself, although each one seemed to be at a different stage in life. From the first one, looking no more than 20 years old, and to the Sage himself, having the oldest appearance of them all. In response to this, Naruto performed a technique of his own.
Naruto: Kuchiyose no jutsu!
As the smoke slowly cleared, three toads had appeared either below or beside Naruto. From under him, stood Gamakichi, and beside him stood Shima and Fukasaku once again.
Gamakichi: Alright, I'm ready for round two!
Naruto: Gamakichi??
Fukasaku: The rest of the toads were pretty beaten, but Gamakichi refused to rest any further.
Shima: So it did indeed work drawing the sword...
Naruto: Good to have you all back on board! Are you sure you're holding up Gamakichi??
Gamakichi: Shut up! Of course, let's do this!
Naruto: Yosh!
"Mt. Myo seem to be quite populated these days I take it..."
Naruto: !!
Fukasaku: What is it kid??
Naruto: ... Nothing, let's fuse!
Shima: Right!
Kabuto: Summoning them are not going to cut it this time Naruto-Kun... It's only a matter of time before you and your friends can't go any further!!
Naruto: What the heck are you talking about?! I feel refreshed like never before!! And once I've taken care of the Sage, I'll deal with your sorry ass afterwards!
Kabuto: ...
Naruto: Let's go! Senpō: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! (Sage Art: Shadow Clone Technique)!
Kabuto: As if that is going to even out the odds...
Naruto: Didn't I already tell you??

Naruto: I'll take care off you later! Now shut your pie hole and let the grown ups do the fighting here!

Beside Naruto, six Sage Clones appeared, all sharing the Rinnegan.

As he said, intense chakra shot out from him, as his Bijou Mode turned into the Sennin-Bijou Mode. Fukasaku and Shima once again both got their own chakra swords, as they too were sharing the joint vision of the Rinnegan.
Naruto: Gamakichi, Fukasaku, Shima... Let's do this!
Leaping off towards the opposition, the two forces were about to clash.

Hiruzen: Kakashi-Sensei??
Kakashi: Where-...
Hiruzen: Damn, it's good to have you back!!
Kakashi: I-..
Grasping him as hard as he could, Hiruzen was glad to see that Kakashi had recovered, after fainting in the battle against Sakumo earlier.
Kakashi: Ehehe, not so hard Hiruzen... Where's Mito??
Hiruzen: She went back to get help.
Kakashi: Alone?! We must-... ugh!
Hiruzen: Hey, you shouldn't move around too much, you're in a pretty bad shape. Besides, Mito is not a simple kid, she can take care of herself.
Kakashi: Ugh... You're right I suppose... How long is it since she left?
Hiruzen: I'm not sure, you've been out for a long time now... But it shouldn't be more th-... Wait, you sense that??
Kakashi: Where?? Enemy?
Hiruzen: No... it's-...!! You guys!
From over the hill, some familiar faces, including Mito, Temari, Sakura, Gai and Jiraiya, arrived, much to Hiruzen's relief.
Hiruzen: Mito, you ma-...
But before he managed to finish his sentence, she threw herself into his arms and started to kiss him passionately.
Everyone: ?!
Jiraiya: Ehhh?! Since when did you guys hook up?! I'm-...
Mito: You're what??
Jiraiya: Nothing... Good for you.
Gai: Kakashi, are you alright?? I heard you used Kamui, but how is that possible, your eye was-...
Kakashi: Akashi... He...
Gai: ...
Temari: Who would have guessed...
Sakura: Kakashi-Sensei, you're in a bad condition!
Moving in to check on him, Sakura started healing him as she continued.
Sakura: Hiruzen, how are you holding up??
Hiruzen: Don't worry mom, I'm okay... More importantly, how is everyone??
Gai: This war has really made its impact... We should get back to the headquarter, we can brief you on the way over there. Kakashi, can you move?

As Sasuke and the rest of the backup had reached the Cave of Ordeals, the hideout where Kabuto had made his own, they quickly hurried themselves inside as they caught up with the rest, still waiting beside the barrier, blocking their entrance to Naruto and Kabuto.
Rock Lee: You're back??
Kurotsuchi: Sasuke, you're alright!
Leaping ahead to greet him, the two of them gave each other a comfortable hug.
Akatsuchi: If you're here, then that must mean that you've dealt with the threat...
Sai: Right??
Kankuro: ... Everything alright Sasuke??
Sasuke: Yeah, actually...
Trying to hold back the sadness of the eminent truth, Sasuke had a war-torn expression all over his face, as Kankuro and the rest quickly understood that something bad had happened.
Hinata: Where's the rest?? Did they stay behind at the headquarter??
Choji: Yeah where is everyone??
Ino: We certainly sent more backup with you on your way over there, where's Shino, Kiba, Tenten, where's-...??
Sasuke: I...
Shikamaru: But you guys managed to deal with the threat, right?
Being seated in meditation position by the barrier, Shikamaru interrupted his flow due to the spectacle that was created by Sasuke's arrival.
Sasuke: Yeah, but...
Konohamaru: Then do tell! What are you holding back for??
Sasuke: *Huff* Right...
As Sasuke began to explain the events of what happened, a lot of sad expressions spread throughout the alliance as several of them, including Ino, Choji, Hinata, Rock Lee and Kankuro fell to their knees in despair.
Hinata: It can't be... Shino, Kiba-Kun...
Rock Lee: Neji, Tenten... They're...
Shikamaru: This is no time nor place to grieve, we're in a war and we need to act accordingly.
Konohamaru: He's right, as long as this war is still going, we need to stand strong, we need to bring Kabuto to justice!
Sasuke: ...
Shinobi Alliance Member: Hey! Hey look! Naruto's...
Everyone: !!
As he said, all of them rushed over to the barrier to see for themselves, only to find Naruto sealing off the last of the Hokages.
Konohamaru: He's done it??
Rock Lee: Yosh!! That only leaves Kabu-...
Shikamaru: It can't be... who is that??
Sasuke: Kabuto has another coffin prepared??
Shikamaru: No... that's?!
Hinata: He looks like Naruto??
Sasuke: His presence... can it be??

Killerbee: This waiting around is killing me softly...
Gaara: Would you rather have Kabuto attack us?? Or even worse, would you leave this position undefended??
Killerbee: It's not like Kabuto is going to attack us another time, I could probably sit down and eat a nice, refreshing lime.
Darui: Killerbee-Sama, you shouldn't be so carefree...
Killerbee: Why did I volunteer for this, I should have gone with Sasuke for sure, rather than to stay here and secure...
Obviously tired of hanging around the headquarter, waiting for things to happen, Killerbee sat down as he tossed his feet onto the table in front of him. In response to this, Gaara let out a mild sigh, as he ventured over to the window-side, only to spot someone approaching on the horizon.
Gaara: Looks like you don't have to just sit around after all, someone's coming this way.
Killerbee: Huh??
Getting up to his feet in an instant, Killerbee too ventured over to the window-side.
Darui: It's them! Looks like Kakashi-San is doing okay as far as I can see, hehe.
Going outside to greet them, Gaara, Killerbee and Darui watched as Gai put a restless Kakashi down, after carrying him all the way over to the headquarter.
Darui: How are you doing Kakashi-San??
Kakashi: Ugh... I'm fine... Thanks Gai.
Gai: No problem, ehehehe!
Yamanaka Clan Member: Report! Seems like Sasuke and the rest have arrived at their destination... Naruto is still fighting Kabuto, but it seems like he's revived...
Jiraiya: Revived who??
Yamanaka Clan Member: They think it's him...
Everyone: ?!

Naruto: *Pant, pant* I'm not done yet!!
Kabuto: Just give it up already, you can't win!! Why do you insist on going on, even after all this?? What is it that drives you forward to this extent? Don't you see, I'm the one who's going to triumphant!!
As the battle still raged on, Naruto was struggling to hold his ground, due to the massive power of the Sage, and his ability to control his Rinnegan.
Gamakichi: I can't keep up much longer Naruto...
Naruto: It's alright, you've done well, no need to risk anything here, I'll take care of him for sure!
Gamakichi: Right then...
Naruto reached his thumb up in the air, giving him a smile of confidence, as Gamakichi nodded back to him as he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Naruto, still covered in his Bijou Mode after having the Sennin-Bijou Mode revert back to its first form, was set on pressing the attack forward, as he was joined by his six Sage clones, whom were, together with himself, persistently fighting on. With a Rasenshuriken each in hand, all of them pressed forward as the battle went back and forth. Still looking for a way to defeat the Sage, Naruto fought on as his Sage clones were defeated, one by one, until only he himself stood left. He was panting heavily, as he looked at the seven fierce foes in front of himself. Knowing that he had to come up with a plan, Naruto fell to his left knee, supporting himself up with his right foot.
Shima: Naruto!!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant* I'm alright, we can still do this.
Fukasaku: Your sealing techniques?? Are none of them ready??
Naruto: It's not a matter of them being ready or not no more... I'm at my limit here.
Fukasaku & Shima: ?!
Naruto: Fukasaku... While we were in the Underworld Dimension, you said that the Jubi's chakra was more or less infinitive, that it was only a matter of how much I would be able to utilize at once... Even so, my stamina is not able to keep up with the rapid changes my body has experienced since I sealed the Jubi inside myself and awakened the Rinnegan... If I use my new abilities too much, if I depend on the Jubi's chakra too much, I'm afraid he might take over my body, even breaking free from the seal... I need to find some way to take down that barrier and deal with Kabuto himself, the Sage... He's just too strong, no matter what I do, no matter what I try, it is not enough.. I just can't keep up with h-...?!
Out of the blue, Shima suddenly slapped Naruto across the face as he almost tumbled over in the process.
Shima: Naruto-San, didn't you say that the Sage cast a spell or a seal on his soul when he was at his deathbed?? Meaning that he would be able to use all of his techniques, but not at full power?? You are able to use all of those techniques, and you're able to use them at full power!
Naruto: !!
Fukasaku: One last push kid, that's all we ask, one last push!!
Naruto: ...
Forcing himself up on his feet again, Naruto then reached both his hands out in the air as his hands were shaking tremendously in front of him.
Kabuto: One last push eh??... What could you have in store now...
Naruto: Super Nova Element: Planetary Annihilation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kabuto: This can't be good?!
Naruto: I already told you once before, do not underestimate my ninja way, do not underestimate me, you scum!!!
In response to Naruto's new attack, Kabuto quickly set up hundreds of new barriers, one after each other, between himself and the Sage, as Naruto shot of an attack like never seen before. Two powerful bright beams shot out of each of his palms as they went off at great speed, hitting the Sage and his summoned bodies, instantly melting them away at microscopic level, as the beam went straight into the barriers, breaking through them like they were tinder to a fire.
Kabuto: Not good at all?!!!
Without stop, the two beams broke through all of the barriers, hitting Kabuto dead on, before breaking through the wall, crashing into the barrier protecting them from the outside world as a large explosion occurred. Falling to both his knees in exhaustion, Naruto looked up as everything in front of him was pulverized. A large hole went down into the ground, and onward towards Kabuto's location, and even beyond that. Nothing was left as Naruto barely could hold his ground.
Fukasaku: Well done kid...
Shima: You did it...
Hinata: Naruto!!
Naruto: That's Hinata's-...?!!
From behind him, Hinata and the rest of the alliance came rushing in as they headed straight for him.
Sasuke: Naruto, are you alright? Did you manage to take care of Kabuto?
Shikamaru: The barrier blocking our entrance disappeared, so we came as fast as we cou-...
But before they managed to catch up to Naruto, a new barrier appeared right in front of them, some 20 meters behind Naruto, as it stretched itself around the room, surrounding it completely. The ground then started shaking as pieces of rocks fell from the ceiling, through the barrier, and began to fill the hole in the middle of the room. As the final pieces had fallen in place, the floor had been as if repaired, as the roof was left wide open to the sky, blocked only by the one barrier surrounding the room. In front of Naruto, the Sage slowly began to regenerate, but all of his six bodies were gone.
Hinata: Naruto!!
Naruto: Stay back! Time to finish this...
Forcing himself up to his feet again, Naruto watched the Sage straight into his eyes, as their Rinnegans met.
SoSP: Asura path...
Suddenly, the left arm of the Sage changed as thousands of mini missiles took off from it, heading straight from Naruto.
"Now's your chance kid, use the sword!!"
Naruto: !!
Realizing that the Sage was talking to him once again through telepathy, knowing that this was his chance, Naruto quickly drew the Master Sword from the holster on his back with his right arm, as the light from the nearby torches was reflected in it, showing of its true grace.
Sasuke: Naruto got a sword now?? Since when?!
Konohamaru: It's beautiful!
Leaping off at great speed, Naruto headed straight for the Sage as he danced between the missiles, closing in on him.
SoSP: Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push)!
As he jumped in, aiming to strike at him, the Sage switched position, as he reached out his right arm, attempting to push Naruto away.
Naruto: Not this time!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!
Using his share willpower to push forward, Naruto steered the point of the sword towards the Sage as he broke through the Almighty Push, piercing the sword through the Sage's chest, as he fell backwards with Naruto on top of him, as Naruto was still holding on to the hilt of the sword. As if time stopped still, the rest of the alliance watched in awe, as Naruto pulled the sword from the Sage's chest, before taking a back flip, landing on his feet one or so meters away from the Sage. To his surprise, the Sage didn't get back up on his feet however, as he was just lying there, completely still. As Naruto, with his sword raised in front of him, went over to check on him, he noticed that the bright red color of his eyes disappeared as they returned back to normal.
Naruto: !!
The Sage then slowly got back up on his feet again as he addressed Naruto, one last time.
"Finally, it's over... Well done kid."
Naruto: But how??
"Isn't it obvious? The Master Sword holds magical powers, the same powers I used when I sealed of the Titans to the Underworld..."
Naruto: To the Underworld then... I-...
"It was an honor to meet you kid-..."
Naruto: The honor is mine, hehehe *Smirk.*
"*Smirk* Well then..."
Naruto: Damn, I'm not good at parting words...
"Always keep in mind that true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one... I'm sure we will meet again someday kid... I just know it... Until then!!"
Naruto: Old-Man-Sennin...
Slowly, but steadily, tiny bits and pieces of the Sage began to break off from his body, as they streamed into the sword, until nothing was left of him, and he was gone.
Fukasaku: I guess this concludes our part as well then...
Shima: Yep...
Naruto: Thanks guys, thank you so much for your help, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you...
Fukasaku: Then take care. Let's go Ma.
Shima: I'll make some delicious bug soup for you when we get home Pa.
As the two toads disappeared from Naruto's shoulders, he knew that he had been able to bring an end to the war, and that he could finally look ahead on the future, working towards his goal to find true, eternal peace...
Naruto: *Huff....* So it's over then.
Kabuto: I don't think so!!!
Naruto: ?!
Sasuke: Look out!!
Suddenly, an arm with a rapier in it erupted from the ground, snaring Naruto's right shoulder in the process, as Kabuto shot up from the ground beneath him.
Naruto: Ugh!!
Kabuto: Did you honestly think I would go down that easily, without a fight?!! Are you really that arrogant or are you just stupid?!
Falling over on his back, Naruto grabbed on to his right shoulder with his left hand, as he was still holding the Master Sword firmly in his right grip.
Kabuto: With your Bijou Mode and all, you should have been able to sense me coming miles away! Now let's see who's better, your Sennin Mode... or Mine!!
As he said, Naruto's Bijou Mode shot completely off, as Naruto was standing there in his natural appearance, for the first time since he sealed away the Jubi, the first time in the real world...
Naruto: Ugh... My shoulder... Kabuto, what did you-...
Kabuto: *Smirk* Let's call it my departing gift to you, Naruto-Kun... It's a little poison I've been developing, which attacks your chakra system at rapid speed. In some ways, it's kind of like the one I let you taste before, when Akashi inflicted it onto you by snaring your shoulder with his kunai in your battle on the way to the Kage meeting. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same spot as he inflicted it too, isn't it?? Kehehehe... But don't worry, it's not fatal, I'll still need you to show me where the alliance have hid the other Treasured Tools of the Sage.
Something in what Kabuto said, triggered a memory in Naruto's mind.
*Flashback Begins*
'Akashi: I'm not done yet!
Lifting a finger, Akashi sent a kunai flying straight at him from behind, as Naruto didn't notice until the last second, barely managing to jump out of the way, causing the kunai to slice him into his right shoulder.
Naruto: So you hid one behind me and flung it towards me with your Shadow technique... Just too bad you missed your chance.

Kakashi and Gai were tying up Sonia's arms as they were just about to set out for Konoha, while Naruto and the rest were preparing to move to the Wave country.
Naruto: If we leave now, we should be the-...
Out of the blue, Naruto suddenly fell over and landed with his face first to the ground.
Shikamaru: Oi, Naruto!
Jiraiya: He's probably tired after fighting that many at the same time.
Hurrying over to him to take a look at him, Sakura quickly discovered that it wasn't due to exhaustion that Naruto fainted, as she saw the cut in his right arm.
Sakura: When did he...?!
Tsunade: What is it Sakura?
Sakura: This is no ordinary cut!... Naruto has been poisoned!
Everyone: What!
Hearing what Sakura said, Tsunade rushed to her aid to take a look at it.
Sakura: I can't say for sure what it is, but it's spreading fast.
Tsunade: It can't be?!
Sakura: ?
Realizing what kind of poison it was, Tsunade quickly got up to her feet again, as she confronted Sonia.
Tsunade: Where did you guys get your hand on this poison?!
Sonia: ...
Tsunade started shaking her really hard to make her reveal where they got this poison.
Kakashi: Hang on, breaking her neck by sending her neck back and forth like that, won't help.
Tsunade: Tell me now or you will regret!
Sonia: Okay.... Akashi got the poison from Kabuto. Naruto dodged his kunai attack from behind in the last second, but it snared his shoulder and gave him a small cut...

Suddenly, Naruto felt a pain rushing through his body.
Killerbee: What's wrong kid?
Naruto: *Ugh*
Naruto then coughed up some blood as he was struggling to stand on his feet.
Tobi: What's happening... Kabuto?
Kabuto: Oh, it seems like it's working.
Tobi: What's working?
Kabuto: Oh, looks like I forgot to tell you the last part of the poison scheme.
Naruto: ?!
Tobi: ...
Kabuto: Well you should have noticed by now Naruto that you've used much more power than usual to perform techniques and such? Well the truth is that you weren't fully healed from my poison.
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: Well we had planned for a two step operation. Akashi would hit you with his poisoned kunai and when you passed out he would inject another poison in you that would cut of your chakra connection completely, making you powerless as he brought you to us.
Naruto: Wha... *Ugh!*
Not able to stand anymore, Naruto fell to his knees as his Sage Mode went out.
Kabuto: But as you know, backup arrived and only the first step was completed, and then you got healed and the poison destroyed... However.
Tobi: ...
Kabuto: I had predicted that this would happen, so I made a backup plan. Once you got affected by the poison, another poison would go undetected through your body. One that even princess Tsunade wouldn't notice. So when they thought they had healed you and you were set to go, the other poison worked its magic. Just too bad that it's not as strong as it would have been if the original plan had worked, but it's better than nothing. According to my calculation, this poison should weaken your body to the state that you use three times as much chakra to preform your jutsus, and if you over use them, you will be weakened...
Tobi: Why didn't you tell me this before... Kabuto?
Kabuto: Oh that would just spoil the fun, now wouldn't it? A little secret here and there won't harm anyone... Oh I forgot, it just did, Kehehehe...
Killerbee: Damn...
Kabuto: So now you know...
Naruto: Damn you and your schemes Kabuto! *Ugh*

Both Naruto and Killerbee were struggling to keep themselves together.

Kabuto: He must have come to record our battle... interesting... I didn't think anyone would be able to enter through the different layer of barriers... Figured, he's not human after all. Naruto-Kun, maybe you should take him out before things turn out for the worst...
Naruto: What do you mean?
Kabuto: Well it's not like you can fight him while he's connected with the nature in his Nature Mode anyways, as he's probably miles away right now, but, with his nature abilities, he's able to be here without being present physically... The reason you should deal with him fast is because the Black Zetsu... The will of Madara... as long as it's alive, Tobi might be resurrected through his soul transferring technique, like he was last time at the end of the 4th Great Shinobi War when he was killed by Sasuke. Well, if any of his soul is still intact after you killed him with your final attack earlier that is...
Naruto: How do you know all this? How do you know that I-...
Kabuto: Never mind that now, just keep in mind that if Tobi gets resurrected, the Shinobi world might be in bigger trouble than what I'll cause... *Smirk*

Naruto had a confident smile on his face as he stretched his arm out and pointed his finger at Kabuto. Beginning to get a bit annoyed at Naruto for hitting down on him and what he was trying to achieve, Kabuto turned his back on him and walked over to the end of the room. Once there, he picked up three tools, before returning to the barrier where Naruto stood.
Naruto: ...
Kabuto: You see this? Do you know what these tools are??
Naruto: !!
Kabuto: Yes... Those are three of the five treasured tools of the Sage of Six Paths himself...
Naruto: But how?! How have you got your hands on them?? The Amber Purifying Pot and The Crimson Gourd was stolen by Tobi during the 4th Great Shinobi War, he should ha-...
Kabuto: Stored them here...
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: After the Jubi got beat back during the last war, Tobi retreated back here to his hideout, where he stored the two treasured tools he had stolen during the battle... He then accessed the Amber Purifying Pot and retrieved the Golden Canopy Rope from the sealed Kinkaku... I bet you know where the two other treasured tools are Naruto-Kun... Naruto: So you've poisoned your rapier... I've dealt with the poison before, and I'll deal with it aga-... Ugh! *Cough, Cough!*
Kabuto: What's the matter, trouble breathing?? I already told you, this is not the same poison, and without medical attention, you will suffer...
Due to the rapid effect of the poison, Naruto began to cough up blood, as the rest of the alliance screamed out to him.
Sasuke: Kabuto you scum, just wait until I get through this ba-...
Kabuto: Wait until what?? What is it that you can possibly do to help him?? You're in no position to boast such claims!
Raising his arms into the air, Kabuto bursted out in maniacally laughter as he pointed his long rapier at Naruto.
Kabuto: Now Naruto-Kun, stand up and show me what you truly got. The poison should pretty much limit your chakra flow, so what are you without it?! My Dragon Sage mode will be more than enough to deal with you now.
Naruto: You forget something...
Kabuto: ??
Naruto: I can still fight, regardless of chakra!!
*Flashback Begins*
'"The thing about my life, is that I was lucky enough to experience both lives, the life of the mortal human being and the life of the advanced abilities that comes with the flow of chakra running through your veins... In time, you must have adapted more and more to these abilities which I left behind as my legacy, and you must have depended more and more on it as well, meaning that once your chakra runs out, you fall in despair... You'll get exhausted, as if you have nothing more to give... But the truth is, you are still a human being, and human beings didn't depend on chakra in the past to fight for them..."
Naruto: I kind of get what you're hinting at... That's one of the main qualities of the Sage Mode and Natural energy control...
"That's right!... My point in saying all this, is that to become a Master of Swords, you must first learn how to wield the sword without the use of chakra... and once you've learned that, there is so many paths you can go down, so many opportunities to explore... The Master Sword is said to be forged by the Gods of the old themselves... The Blade to oppose all evil, to shine light upon the good things in life..."'

Naruto: Not only is my Toad Sage Mode superior to yours, but I still have the Master Sword in my possession!!

Fun Fact & Author's Note:
1: For those of you who read the spoiler I posted a few chapters back, regarding the upcoming chapters' names, you would have noticed that I changed the name for this chapter from what I originally planned. I was going to name it; "Battle of Gods, Part 2" but decided to give it a more fitting name.
2: I had originally thought out this chapter, as well as the upcoming ones until the end of the war, to focus only at Naruto's battles, but I eventually decided that I needed to draw the plot forward from the rest of the alliance's perspective, and that I needed some sort of way for the rest of the alliance to get a chance to mourn over the dead. In the end, I found it to be the right way to go, as I at the same time got a chance to take a small break from all the battling.
3: The end of this sequel draws near with only three chapters left of the actual war, before the four final chapters will draw the plot forward, towards its end. I'll probably reveal some details on what the next sequel is going to be about soon, as we get closer to the end
4: Don't know if you noticed, but there's a reference, or rather a direct quote, from Gandalf in the Hobbit in this chapter somewhere. Did you spot it??
5: With the flashbacks to Kabuto's previous poison scheme in this chapter, this sequel had its first flashback(s) to the original story, my first work. I guess I never really had a reason to refer back to my original work before now.
6: I haven't been able to do much FF since Thursday, and I've barely begun on the next chapter, so I'm not sure when I'll release it this week... Perhaps during the weekend or so And I still have my goal on finishing this sequel by the end of June, so I'm not off the hook or anything just yet, haha. The Sage of Six Paths' Final Lesson!:
Naruto: Did any of this really happen?? My chakra reserve... I feel restored... ?! Where's-...
"On your back."
Naruto (In thoughts): ?! You're talking to me telepathically??
"Indeed I am, but not for long. Now quickly, finish this fight while you still can, seal me away for good..."
Kabuto: What's the matter, lost your tongue Naruto-Kun??
Naruto: No, I think I just regained it!
On Naruto's back, a holstered sword slowly appeared, as if by magic, as Naruto knew what the Sage meant by his words.
Kabuto: Hah, we'll see about that!
Naruto: Let's see what you can possibly throw at me this time!!
Kabuto: Oh I will... I will show you the true power of the Savior of this World, the God of Shinobi!
As he shouted, the eyes of the Sage turned red again as a massive source of chakra shot out of him.
Naruto: ...
SoSP: Kuchiyose, Rikudō no Jutsu (Summoning, Six Paths Technique)!
Beside him, six other bodies appeared, all of which had similar appearance as the Sage himself, although each one seemed to be at a different stage in life. From the first one, looking no more than 20 years old, and to the Sage himself, having the oldest appearance of them all. In response to this, Naruto performed a technique of his own.
Naruto: Kuchiyose no jutsu!
As the smoke slowly cleared, three toads had appeared either below or beside Naruto. From under him, stood Gamakichi, and beside him stood Shima and Fukasaku once again.
Gamakichi: Alright, I'm ready for round two!
Naruto: Gamakichi??
Fukasaku: The rest of the toads were pretty beaten, but Gamakichi refused to rest any further.
Shima: So it did indeed work drawing the sword...
Naruto: Good to have you all back on board! Are you sure you're holding up Gamakichi??
Gamakichi: Shut up! Of course, let's do this!
Naruto: Yosh!
"Mt. Myo seem to be quite populated these days I take it..."
Naruto: !!
Fukasaku: What is it kid??
Naruto: ... Nothing, let's fuse!
Shima: Right!
Kabuto: Summoning them are not going to cut it this time Naruto-Kun... It's only a matter of time before you and your friends can't go any further!!
Naruto: What the heck are you talking about?! I feel refreshed like never before!! And once I've taken care of the Sage, I'll deal with your sorry ass afterwards!
Kabuto: ...
Naruto: Let's go! Senpō: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! (Sage Art: Shadow Clone Technique)!
Kabuto: As if that is going to even out the odds...
Naruto: Didn't I already tell you??
Kabuto: ??
Naruto: I'll take care off you later! Now shut your pie hole and let the grown ups do the fighting here!
Kabuto: Eh-...
Beside Naruto, six Sage Clones appeared, all sharing the Rinnegan.
Naruto: And I'm not done yet!
As he said, intense chakra shot out from him, as his Bijou Mode turned into the Sennin-Bijou Mode. Fukasaku and Shima once again both got their own chakra swords, as they too were sharing the joint vision of the Rinnegan.
Naruto: Gamakichi, Fukasaku, Shima... Let's do this!
Leaping off towards the opposition, the two forces were about to clash.

Hiruzen: Kakashi-Sensei??
Kakashi: Where-...
Hiruzen: Damn, it's good to have you back!!
Kakashi: I-..
Grasping him as hard as he could, Hiruzen was glad to see that Kakashi had recovered, after fainting in the battle against Sakumo earlier.
Kakashi: Ehehe, not so hard Hiruzen... Where's Mito??
Hiruzen: She went back to get help.
Kakashi: Alone?! We must-... ugh!
Hiruzen: Hey, you shouldn't move around too much, you're in a pretty bad shape. Besides, Mito is not a simple kid, she can take care of herself.
Kakashi: Ugh... You're right I suppose... How long is it since she left?
Hiruzen: I'm not sure, you've been out for a long time now... But it shouldn't be more th-... Wait, you sense that??
Kakashi: Where?? Enemy?
Hiruzen: No... it's-...!! You guys!
From over the hill, some familiar faces, including Mito, Temari, Sakura, Gai and Jiraiya, arrived, much to Hiruzen's relief.
Hiruzen: Mito, you ma-...
But before he managed to finish his sentence, she threw herself into his arms and started to kiss him passionately.
Everyone: ?!
Jiraiya: Ehhh?! Since when did you guys hook up?! I'm-...
Mito: You're what??
Jiraiya: Nothing... Good for you.
Gai: Kakashi, are you alright?? I heard you used Kamui, but how is that possible, your eye was-...
Kakashi: Akashi... He...
Gai: ...
Temari: Who would have guessed...
Sakura: Kakashi-Sensei, you're in a bad condition!
Moving in to check on him, Sakura started healing him as she continued.
Sakura: Hiruzen, how are you holding up??
Hiruzen: Don't worry mom, I'm okay... More importantly, how is everyone??
Gai: This war has really made its impact... We should get back to the headquarter, we can brief you on the way over there. Kakashi, can you move?
Kakashi: I suppo-...
Gai: Actually, let me carry you!! It will be like in the old days, when we rescued Gaara from the Akatsuki!!
Kakashi: Wait, I'll... wa-...aaaaaalk! My-...!!!
Racing ahead of the rest of the gang, they others quickly followed as Kakashi had no choice but to be piggybacked by Gai, all the way back to the headquarter.

Sasuke: We're here, let's head in and catch up with the rest!!
As Sasuke and the rest of the backup had reached the Cave of Ordeals, the hideout where Kabuto had made his own, they quickly hurried themselves inside as they caught up with the rest, still waiting beside the barrier, blocking their entrance to Naruto and Kabuto.
Rock Lee: You're back??
Kurotsuchi: Sasuke, you're alright!
Leaping ahead to greet him, the two of them gave each other a comfortable hug.
Akatsuchi: If you're here, then that must mean that you've dealt with the threat...
Sai: Right??
Kankuro: ... Everything alright Sasuke??
Sasuke: Yeah, actually...
Trying to hold back the sadness of the eminent truth, Sasuke had a war-torn expression all over his face, as Kankuro and the rest quickly understood that something bad had happened.
Hinata: Where's the rest?? Did they stay behind at the headquarter??
Choji: Yeah where is everyone??
Ino: We certainly sent more backup with you on your way over there, where's Shino, Kiba, Tenten, where's-...??
Sasuke: I...
Shikamaru: But you guys managed to deal with the threat, right?
Being seated in meditation position by the barrier, Shikamaru interrupted his flow due to the spectacle that was created by Sasuke's arrival.
Sasuke: Yeah, but...
Konohamaru: Then do tell! What are you holding back for??
Sasuke: *Huff* Right...
As Sasuke began to explain the events of what happened, a lot of sad expressions spread throughout the alliance as several of them, including Ino, Choji, Hinata, Rock Lee and Kankuro fell to their knees in despair.
Hinata: It can't be... Shino, Kiba-Kun...
Rock Lee: Neji, Tenten... They're...
Shikamaru: This is no time nor place to grieve, we're in a war and we need to act accordingly.
Konohamaru: He's right, as long as this war is still going, we need to stand strong, we need to bring Kabuto to justice!
Sasuke: ...
Shinobi Alliance Member: Hey! Hey look! Naruto's...
Everyone: !!
As he said, all of them rushed over to the barrier to see for themselves, only to find Naruto sealing off the last of the Hokages.
Konohamaru: He's done it??
Rock Lee: Yosh!! That only leaves Kabu-...
Shikamaru: It can't be... who is that??
Sasuke: Kabuto has another coffin prepared??
Shikamaru: No... that's?!
Hinata: He looks like Naruto??
Sasuke: His presence... can it be??
[...]
Killerbee: This waiting around is killing me softly...
Gaara: Would you rather have Kabuto attack us?? Or even worse, would you leave this position undefended??
Killerbee: It's not like Kabuto is going to attack us another time, I could probably sit down and eat a nice, refreshing lime.
Darui: Killerbee-Sama, you shouldn't be so carefree...
Killerbee: Why did I volunteer for this, I should have gone with Sasuke for sure, rather than to stay here and secure...
Obviously tired of hanging around the headquarter, waiting for things to happen, Killerbee sat down as he tossed his feet onto the table in front of him. In response to this, Gaara let out a mild sigh, as he ventured over to the window-side, only to spot someone approaching on the horizon.
Gaara: Looks like you don't have to just sit around after all, someone's coming this way.
Killerbee: Huh??
Getting up to his feet in an instant, Killerbee too ventured over to the window-side.
Darui: It's them! Looks like Kakashi-San is doing okay as far as I can see, hehe.
Going outside to greet them, Gaara, Killerbee and Darui watched as Gai put a restless Kakashi down, after carrying him all the way over to the headquarter.
Darui: How are you doing Kakashi-San??
Kakashi: Ugh... I'm fine... Thanks Gai.
Gai: No problem, ehehehe!
Yamanaka Clan Member: Report! Seems like Sasuke and the rest have arrived at their destination... Naruto is still fighting Kabuto, but it seems like he's revived...
Jiraiya: Revived who??
Yamanaka Clan Member: They think it's him...
Everyone: ?!
[...]
Naruto: *Pant, pant* I'm not done yet!!
Kabuto: Just give it up already, you can't win!! Why do you insist on going on, even after all this?? What is it that drives you forward to this extent? Don't you see, I'm the one who's going to triumphant!!
As the battle still raged on, Naruto was struggling to hold his ground, due to the massive power of the Sage, and his ability to control his Rinnegan.
Gamakichi: I can't keep up much longer Naruto...
Naruto: It's alright, you've done well, no need to risk anything here, I'll take care of him for sure!
Gamakichi: Right then...
Naruto reached his thumb up in the air, giving him a smile of confidence, as Gamakichi nodded back to him as he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Naruto, still covered in his Bijou Mode after having the Sennin-Bijou Mode revert back to its first form, was set on pressing the attack forward, as he was joined by his six Sage clones, whom were, together with himself, persistently fighting on. With a Rasenshuriken each in hand, all of them pressed forward as the battle went back and forth. Still looking for a way to defeat the Sage, Naruto fought on as his Sage clones were defeated, one by one, until only he himself stood left. He was panting heavily, as he looked at the seven fierce foes in front of himself. Knowing that he had to come up with a plan, Naruto fell to his left knee, supporting himself up with his right foot.
Shima: Naruto!!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant* I'm alright, we can still do this.
Fukasaku: Your sealing techniques?? Are none of them ready??
Naruto: It's not a matter of them being ready or not no more... I'm at my limit here.
Fukasaku & Shima: ?!
Naruto: Fukasaku... While we were in the Underworld Dimension, you said that the Jubi's chakra was more or less infinitive, that it was only a matter of how much I would be able to utilize at once... Even so, my stamina is not able to keep up with the rapid changes my body has experienced since I sealed the Jubi inside myself and awakened the Rinnegan... If I use my new abilities too much, if I depend on the Jubi's chakra too much, I'm afraid he might take over my body, even breaking free from the seal... I need to find some way to take down that barrier and deal with Kabuto himself, the Sage... He's just too strong, no matter what I do, no matter what I try, it is not enough.. I just can't keep up with h-...?!
Out of the blue, Shima suddenly slapped Naruto across the face as he almost tumbled over in the process.
Shima: Naruto-San, didn't you say that the Sage cast a spell or a seal on his soul when he was at his deathbed?? Meaning that he would be able to use all of his techniques, but not at full power?? You are able to use all of those techniques, and you're able to use them at full power!
Naruto: !!
Fukasaku: One last push kid, that's all we ask, one last push!!
Naruto: ...
Forcing himself up on his feet again, Naruto then reached both his hands out in the air as his hands were shaking tremendously in front of him.
Kabuto: One last push eh??... What could you have in store now...
Naruto: Super Nova Element: Planetary Annihilation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kabuto: This can't be good?!
Naruto: I already told you once before, do not underestimate my ninja way, do not underestimate me, you scum!!!
In response to Naruto's new attack, Kabuto quickly set up hundreds of new barriers, one after each other, between himself and the Sage, as Naruto shot of an attack like never seen before. Two powerful bright beams shot out of each of his palms as they went off at great speed, hitting the Sage and his summoned bodies, instantly melting them away at microscopic level, as the beam went straight into the barriers, breaking through them like they were tinder to a fire.
Kabuto: Not good at all?!!!
Without stop, the two beams broke through all of the barriers, hitting Kabuto dead on, before breaking through the wall, crashing into the barrier protecting them from the outside world as a large explosion occurred. Falling to both his knees in exhaustion, Naruto looked up as everything in front of him was pulverized. A large hole went down into the ground, and onward towards Kabuto's location, and even beyond that. Nothing was left as Naruto barely could hold his ground.
Fukasaku: Well done kid...
Shima: You did it...
Hinata: Naruto!!
Naruto: That's Hinata's-...?!!
From behind him, Hinata and the rest of the alliance came rushing in as they headed straight for him.
Sasuke: Naruto, are you alright? Did you manage to take care of Kabuto?
Shikamaru: The barrier blocking our entrance disappeared, so we came as fast as we cou-...
But before they managed to catch up to Naruto, a new barrier appeared right in front of them, some 20 meters behind Naruto, as it stretched itself around the room, surrounding it completely. The ground then started shaking as pieces of rocks fell from the ceiling, through the barrier, and began to fill the hole in the middle of the room. As the final pieces had fallen in place, the floor had been as if repaired, as the roof was left wide open to the sky, blocked only by the one barrier surrounding the room. In front of Naruto, the Sage slowly began to regenerate, but all of his six bodies were gone.
Hinata: Naruto!!
Naruto: Stay back! Time to finish this...
Forcing himself up to his feet again, Naruto watched the Sage straight into his eyes, as their Rinnegans met.
SoSP: Asura path...
Suddenly, the left arm of the Sage changed as thousands of mini missiles took off from it, heading straight from Naruto.
"Now's your chance kid, use the sword!!"
Naruto: !!
Realizing that the Sage was talking to him once again through telepathy, knowing that this was his chance, Naruto quickly drew the Master Sword from the holster on his back with his right arm, as the light from the nearby torches was reflected in it, showing of its true grace.
Sasuke: Naruto got a sword now?? Since when?!
Konohamaru: It's beautiful!
Leaping off at great speed, Naruto headed straight for the Sage as he danced between the missiles, closing in on him.
SoSP: Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push)!
As he jumped in, aiming to strike at him, the Sage switched position, as he reached out his right arm, attempting to push Naruto away.
Naruto: Not this time!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!
Using his share willpower to push forward, Naruto steered the point of the sword towards the Sage as he broke through the Almighty Push, piercing the sword through the Sage's chest, as he fell backwards with Naruto on top of him, as Naruto was still holding on to the hilt of the sword. As if time stopped still, the rest of the alliance watched in awe, as Naruto pulled the sword from the Sage's chest, before taking a back flip, landing on his feet one or so meters away from the Sage. To his surprise, the Sage didn't get back up on his feet however, as he was just lying there, completely still. As Naruto, with his sword raised in front of him, went over to check on him, he noticed that the bright red color of his eyes disappeared as they returned back to normal.
Naruto: !!
The Sage then slowly got back up on his feet again as he addressed Naruto, one last time.
"Finally, it's over... Well done kid."
Naruto: But how??
"Isn't it obvious? The Master Sword holds magical powers, the same powers I used when I sealed of the Titans to the Underworld..."
Naruto: To the Underworld then... I-...
"It was an honor to meet you kid-..."
Naruto: The honor is mine, hehehe *Smirk.*
"*Smirk* Well then..."
Naruto: Damn, I'm not good at parting words...
"Always keep in mind that true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one... I'm sure we will meet again someday kid... I just know it... Until then!!"
Naruto: Old-Man-Sennin...
Slowly, but steadily, tiny bits and pieces of the Sage began to break off from his body, as they streamed into the sword, until nothing was left of him, and he was gone.
Fukasaku: I guess this concludes our part as well then...
Shima: Yep...
Naruto: Thanks guys, thank you so much for your help, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you...
Fukasaku: Then take care. Let's go Ma.
Shima: I'll make some delicious bug soup for you when we get home Pa.
As the two toads disappeared from Naruto's shoulders, he knew that he had been able to bring an end to the war, and that he could finally look ahead on the future, working towards his goal to find true, eternal peace...
Naruto: *Huff....* So it's over then.
Kabuto: I don't think so!!!
Naruto: ?!
Sasuke: Look out!!
Suddenly, an arm with a rapier in it erupted from the ground, snaring Naruto's right shoulder in the process, as Kabuto shot up from the ground beneath him.
Naruto: Ugh!!
Kabuto: Did you honestly think I would go down that easily, without a fight?!! Are you really that arrogant or are you just stupid?!
Falling over on his back, Naruto grabbed on to his right shoulder with his left hand, as he was still holding the Master Sword firmly in his right grip.
Kabuto: With your Bijou Mode and all, you should have been able to sense me coming miles away! Now let's see who's better, your Sennin Mode... or Mine!!
As he said, Naruto's Bijou Mode shot completely off, as Naruto was standing there in his natural appearance, for the first time since he sealed away the Jubi, the first time in the real world...
Naruto: Ugh... My shoulder... Kabuto, what did you-...
Kabuto: *Smirk* Let's call it my departing gift to you, Naruto-Kun... It's a little poison I've been developing, which attacks your chakra system at rapid speed. In some ways, it's kind of like the one I let you taste before, when Akashi inflicted it onto you by snaring your shoulder with his kunai in your battle on the way to the Kage meeting. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same spot as he inflicted it too, isn't it?? Kehehehe... But don't worry, it's not fatal, I'll still need you to show me where the alliance have hid the other Treasured Tools of the Sage.
Something in what Kabuto said, triggered a memory in Naruto's mind.
*Flashback Begins*
'Akashi: I'm not done yet!
Lifting a finger, Akashi sent a kunai flying straight at him from behind, as Naruto didn't notice until the last second, barely managing to jump out of the way, causing the kunai to slice him into his right shoulder.
Naruto: So you hid one behind me and flung it towards me with your Shadow technique... Just too bad you missed your chance.
[...]
Kakashi and Gai were tying up Sonia's arms as they were just about to set out for Konoha, while Naruto and the rest were preparing to move to the Wave country.
Naruto: If we leave now, we should be the-...
Out of the blue, Naruto suddenly fell over and landed with his face first to the ground.
Shikamaru: Oi, Naruto!
Jiraiya: He's probably tired after fighting that many at the same time.
Hurrying over to him to take a look at him, Sakura quickly discovered that it wasn't due to exhaustion that Naruto fainted, as she saw the cut in his right arm.
Sakura: When did he...?!
Tsunade: What is it Sakura?
Sakura: This is no ordinary cut!... Naruto has been poisoned!
Everyone: What!
Hearing what Sakura said, Tsunade rushed to her aid to take a look at it.
Sakura: I can't say for sure what it is, but it's spreading fast.
Tsunade: It can't be?!
Sakura: ?
Realizing what kind of poison it was, Tsunade quickly got up to her feet again, as she confronted Sonia.
Tsunade: Where did you guys get your hand on this poison?!
Sonia: ...
Tsunade started shaking her really hard to make her reveal where they got this poison.
Kakashi: Hang on, breaking her neck by sending her neck back and forth like that, won't help.
Tsunade: Tell me now or you will regret!
Sonia: Okay.... Akashi got the poison from Kabuto. Naruto dodged his kunai attack from behind in the last second, but it snared his shoulder and gave him a small cut...

Suddenly, Naruto felt a pain rushing through his body.
Killerbee: What's wrong kid?
Naruto: *Ugh*
Naruto then coughed up some blood as he was struggling to stand on his feet.
Tobi: What's happening... Kabuto?
Kabuto: Oh, it seems like it's working.
Tobi: What's working?
Kabuto: Oh, looks like I forgot to tell you the last part of the poison scheme.
Naruto: ?!
Tobi: ...
Kabuto: Well you should have noticed by now Naruto that you've used much more power than usual to perform techniques and such? Well the truth is that you weren't fully healed from my poison.
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: Well we had planned for a two step operation. Akashi would hit you with his poisoned kunai and when you passed out he would inject another poison in you that would cut of your chakra connection completely, making you powerless as he brought you to us.
Naruto: Wha... *Ugh!*
Not able to stand anymore, Naruto fell to his knees as his Sage Mode went out.
Kabuto: But as you know, backup arrived and only the first step was completed, and then you got healed and the poison destroyed... However.
Tobi: ...
Kabuto: I had predicted that this would happen, so I made a backup plan. Once you got affected by the poison, another poison would go undetected through your body. One that even princess Tsunade wouldn't notice. So when they thought they had healed you and you were set to go, the other poison worked its magic. Just too bad that it's not as strong as it would have been if the original plan had worked, but it's better than nothing. According to my calculation, this poison should weaken your body to the state that you use three times as much chakra to preform your jutsus, and if you over use them, you will be weakened...
Tobi: Why didn't you tell me this before... Kabuto?
Kabuto: Oh that would just spoil the fun, now wouldn't it? A little secret here and there won't harm anyone... Oh I forgot, it just did, Kehehehe...
Killerbee: Damn...
Kabuto: So now you know...
Naruto: Damn you and your schemes Kabuto! *Ugh*
Still affected by the poison, Naruto was not able to stand up.
Killerbee: *Huff... Huff*... Naruto I know you're struggling against the poison, but you can do it, you are the chosen...
Both Naruto and Killerbee were struggling to keep themselves together.
Kabuto: Oh you're still able to move...

Naruto: I know... Damn... It's just that this poison is setting me back.
Kyubi: What Poison?
Naruto: !!
Suddenly, Naruto sensed that all the traces of the poison were gone.
Naruto: How?!
Puzzled over why the poison was gone, Naruto tried to come up with an answer.
Kyubi: Didn't you pay attention to when Kabuto explained the poison to you? It would eventually wear off because of me... and now that you based your last attacks with an overdose of my chakra, the poison was eliminated once and for all. Now to deal with Tobi!

Naruto: I...
Kabuto: Kehehehe, ahahaha!
Kabuto bursted out in laughter, as Naruto looked at him with a confused look on his face, before Kabuto went on.
Kabuto: This seems to not be the only thing you don't get... You've also forgot that I'm not the only threat around here... Can you feel that? He's here...
Naruto: !! Zetsu... So he's still alive...
Kabuto: He must have come to record our battle... interesting... I didn't think anyone would be able to enter through the different layer of barriers... Figured, he's not human after all. Naruto-Kun, maybe you should take him out before things turn out for the worst...
Naruto: What do you mean?
Kabuto: Well it's not like you can fight him while he's connected with the nature in his Nature Mode anyways, as he's probably miles away right now, but, with his nature abilities, he's able to be here without being present physically... The reason you should deal with him fast is because the Black Zetsu... The will of Madara... as long as it's alive, Tobi might be resurrected through his soul transferring technique, like he was last time at the end of the 4th Great Shinobi War when he was killed by Sasuke. Well, if any of his soul is still intact after you killed him with your final attack earlier that is...
Naruto: How do you know all this? How do you know that I-...
Kabuto: Never mind that now, just keep in mind that if Tobi gets resurrected, the Shinobi world might be in bigger trouble than what I'll cause... *Smirk*
Naruto: ... Nevertheless, as the Hokage of Konoha, I'll have to stop you both, no matter what. People has entrusted me with their will, their trust that I'll be able to restore balance and create eternal peace in this world. As long as you're around, that won't happen...
Naruto had a confident smile on his face as he stretched his arm out and pointed his finger at Kabuto. Beginning to get a bit annoyed at Naruto for hitting down on him and what he was trying to achieve, Kabuto turned his back on him and walked over to the end of the room. Once there, he picked up three tools, before returning to the barrier where Naruto stood.
Naruto: ...
Kabuto: You see this? Do you know what these tools are??
Naruto: !!
Kabuto: Yes... Those are three of the five treasured tools of the Sage of Six Paths himself...
Naruto: But how?! How have you got your hands on them?? The Amber Purifying Pot and The Crimson Gourd was stolen by Tobi during the 4th Great Shinobi War, he should ha-...
Kabuto: Stored them here...
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: After the Jubi got beat back during the last war, Tobi retreated back here to his hideout, where he stored the two treasured tools he had stolen during the battle... He then accessed the Amber Purifying Pot and retrieved the Golden Canopy Rope from the sealed Kinkaku... I bet you know where the two other treasured tools are Naruto-Kun... The Banana Palm Fan and The Seven Stars Sword...
Naruto: Yeah...
Kabuto: After your inevitable defeat at my hands, you'll show me where they are...
Naruto: And what makes you think you will be able to defeat me you scum...'
*Flashback Ends*
Naruto: So you've poisoned your rapier... I've dealt with the poison before, and I'll deal with it aga-... Ugh! *Cough, Cough!*
Kabuto: What's the matter, trouble breathing?? I already told you, this is not the same poison, and without medical attention, you will suffer...
Due to the rapid effect of the poison, Naruto began to cough up blood, as the rest of the alliance screamed out to him.
Sasuke: Kabuto you scum, just wait until I get through this ba-...
Kabuto: Wait until what?? What is it that you can possibly do to help him?? You're in no position to boast such claims!
Raising his arms into the air, Kabuto bursted out in maniacally laughter as he pointed his long rapier at Naruto.
Kabuto: Now Naruto-Kun, stand up and show me what you truly got. The poison should pretty much limit your chakra flow, so what are you without it?! My Dragon Sage mode will be more than enough to deal with you now.
Naruto: You forget something...
Kabuto: ??
Naruto: I can still fight, regardless of chakra!!
*Flashback Begins*

You'll get exhausted, as if you have nothing more to give... But the truth is, you are still a human being, and human beings didn't depend on chakra in the past to fight for them..."
Naruto: I kind of get what you're hinting at... That's one of the main qualities of the Sage Mode and Natural energy control...
"That's right!... My point in saying all this, is that to become a Master of Swords, you must first learn how to wield the sword without the use of chakra... and once you've learned that, there is so many paths you can go down, so many opportunities to explore... The Master Sword is said to be forged by the Gods of the old themselves... The Blade to oppose all evil, to shine light upon the good things in life..."'

Naruto: Not only is my Toad Sage Mode superior to yours, but I still have the Master Sword in my possession!!

Fun Fact & Author's Note:
1: For those of you who read the spoiler I posted a few chapters back, regarding the upcoming chapters' names, you would have noticed that I changed the name for this chapter from what I originally planned. I was going to name it; "Battle of Gods, Part 2" but decided to give it a more fitting name.
2: I had originally thought out this chapter, as well as the upcoming ones until the end of the war, to focus only at Naruto's battles, but I eventually decided that I needed to draw the plot forward from the rest of the alliance's perspective, and that I needed some sort of way for the rest of the alliance to get a chance to mourn over the dead. In the end, I found it to be the right way to go, as I at the same time got a chance to take a small break from all the battling.
3: The end of this sequel draws near with only three chapters left of the actual war, before the four final chapters will draw the plot forward, towards its end. I'll probably reveal some details on what the next sequel is going to be about soon, as we get closer to the end
4: Don't know if you noticed, but there's a reference, or rather a direct quote, from Gandalf in the Hobbit in this chapter somewhere. Did you spot it??
5: With the flashbacks to Kabuto's previous poison scheme in this chapter, this sequel had its first flashback(s) to the original story, my first work. I guess I never really had a reason to refer back to my original work before now.
6: I haven't been able to do much FF since Thursday, and I've barely begun on the next chapter, so I'm not sure when I'll release it this week... Perhaps during the weekend or so
And I still have my goal on finishing this sequel by the end of June, so I'm not off the hook or anything just yet, haha.
