The Legendary Sage of Konoha Returns, Chapter 21;
Naruto: Ma, Pa, this is it.
Fukasaku: Yeah...
Shima: I'm ready.
Naruto: Let's do this then...
SoSP (Static Voice): Come then, Naruto-Kun!!
Naruto, in his Super Sennin-Bijou Mode, the third and final stage of the Bijou Mode, then leaped off towards the Deformed Titan as he was joined by his Ultimate Summon, the God of War. The two forces crashed head on as mighty shockwaves were sent in all directions, cutting down nearby trees and causing giant Tsunamis to be sent towards the several isles around them.
SoSP (Static Voice): ?!
Using his two gigantic Jubi chakra swords, Naruto slashed at the titanic deformed Titan, whom had ripped off the top of a giant mountain, and used it as a weapon to counter as rocks shattered and flew everywhere. The God of War also had a long sword in hand, and was about the same size as the deformed Titan, towering a bit over Naruto's Super Sennin-Bijou Mode, which was a bit smaller compared to the two of them. His armor was metallic and completely black, as his eyes glowed red and his sword was of beam-like entity, with the color of black at its core with white lines around. He swung around, attempting to hit the Deformed Titan from the rear, but as he was about to make impact, a large hand with sword in its grip emerged from its back, blocking the strike. The impact Naruto and the God of War had with the Titan, caused the Sage and his Six Headed Elemental Dragon to get tossed of the head of the Titan, as they flew through the air. Seeing an opportunity to get the upper hand, Naruto signaled the God of War to keep the Titan in check as he himself went for the Sage as the shockwaves were still shaking up the environment around them.
Naruto: *Pant, pant* I'll not be able to keep this up for long, we will have to end this now!
Fukasaku: Then don't hold back!
Shima: Give it your all kid!
SoSP (Static Voice): This final stage of yours really is powerful, but how long will you be able to keep it up I wonder??
Maneuvering around and dodging Naruto's attacks, the Sage, with his dragon, flew at a fast pace, barely avoiding his strikes. His Sennin-Bijou Mode looked very insignificant compared to the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode of Naruto, as he was a bit unsure on how to deal with Naruto's last trick. Flying around to Naruto's back, all of the six heads of the dragon fired up each of their elemental attack, hitting Naruto dead on, but they did little to no damage, as the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode's massive armor protected Naruto with ease. In the background, the God of War and the Deformed Titan were struggling to overpower each other, as the Titan had formed a long rusty sword in its hand which it was parrying the God of War's attacks with. With each clash, massive shockwaves were sent out, washing over the nearby isles, splitting off nearby mountain-tops and causing a real havoc.
SoSP (Static Voice): It had no effect??
Turning around in an instant, Naruto swung his swords as he hit the left wing of the dragon, cutting it off in the process as it tumbled towards the ground, crashing into a nearby mountain. Moving in for the kill, Naruto quickly hastened himself to catch up with him as he plunged one of his chakra swords right through the dragon's back, nailing it to the ground. Trying to break free but in vain, the Sage realized that Naruto was about to finish the dragon off as he jumped away from it as Naruto swung his other sword, aiming for the six heads. But as he did, the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode ran out as it reverted back to the regular Bijou Mode. The chakra sword, nailing the Six Headed Elemental Dragon to the ground however, still remained intact as it was restricting the Dragons movement.
Naruto: Damn it... Guess I'll need more training to fully master that stage.
SoSP (Static Voice): So this is your limit, Naruto-Kun... Kehehe *Smirk.*
Naruto: It's not over yet!
Heading straight for the Sage, whom still were covered in his Sennin-Bijou Mode, Naruto pressed on the attack despite his form reverting back to the regular Bijou Mode, clearly being at a disadvantage. With a Bijou Bomb in his hand, Naruto then clashed with the Sage as a loud explosion appeared between the two of them, sending them both flying away from each other.
Naruto: Ugh!
As Naruto regained his balance, he noticed that the Deformed Titan had tumbled over as the God of War had chopped of its head, disappearing in a giant cloud of smoke in the process.
Fukasaku: You'll have to take care of that dragon now, before it's too late!
Naruto: Right!!
Shima: !! Naruto, what are you doing, the Dragon is that way!!
Naruto: I know alright!!
Instead of heading towards the dragon, Naruto suddenly raced off in another direction as Shima began questioning his choice.
Naruto: This is the spot!
Fukasaku: I always put my trust in you kid, but what on earth are you planning??!
Naruto: When the Giant Toad was defeated earlier, his sword sunk to the bottom of the sea, in this exact spot... I'm going to use it to finish this!!
Shima: !!
Submerging into the sea, Naruto headed straight for the bottom of it as he discovered the sword stuck to the bottom. Grabbing onto its hilt, Naruto let out a deep moan as he was trying to break it free from the spot it was stuck in. Not only that, but the sword was in fact of gigantic proportions too as Naruto finally began to move it, little by little, as he headed for the surface. Over at the Dragon's pinned position, the Sage was trying to loosen the chakra sword stuck into the dragon's back, nailing it to the ground as he noticed Naruto emerging from the sea with the giant long sword of the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo in hand, racing towards them.
Naruto: Arrrrrrrgh!!! Take this!!
SoSP (Static Voice): ?!
Sending it off at great speed, the longsword went straight for the dragon as the Sage was still struggling to get the chakra-sword out of its back. Before he managed to react, the longsword pierced right through all of the six heads from the side as it crashed into the mountain, finishing off the last of the great Titans in an instant.
SoSP (Static Voice): It can't be?? Never mind that, I'll just bring them all back again!!
Naruto: I don't think so!!
As the Sage tried to revive the Titans like he did before, he quickly realized that it did not work the way he planned as nothing happened.
SoSP (Static Voice): How, why is it not working?!
Naruto: *Smirk*
SoSP (Static Voice): Damn you Naruto-Kun, what have you done!!
Firing up a Dai Rasenringu in hand, the Sage threw it towards Naruto at immense speed, as Naruto countered with a Rasenshuriken of his own.
Naruto: Super Nova Element; Rasenshuriken!
Combining his five nature elements, Naruto created the same Rasenshuriken he used to finish off Tobi earlier as it collided with the Rasenringu right in between the Sage and himself, causing a massive explosion pulverizing anything and everything within its reach to dust as Naruto had to use the Flying Thunder God to avoid being caught in the blast. Reappearing some hundred kilometers away, he was struggling to catch his breath.
Shima: Naruto!! Now is your chance!!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Shima: Naruto, can you hear me?!!
Still pretty shaken up from the final encounter, Naruto heard a high pitched noise in his ears, as Shima was trying to reach through to him. Thinking back on what the Sage said, as well as what he had witnessed in this dimension, Naruto knew that he was close... Close to finding the way out of this dreadful technique.
*Flashback Begins*
'Fukasaku: The Forsaken Forest of Mt. Myo is a dark, mysterious and holy place... It was once the home of the giants of this world, including the Titans of the Underworld, before they got sealed away to the underworld. That's why no one dares go there, just imagine the size of all the creatures!
"This dimension is called the Overworld, or Skyworld if you'd like. This is where I created the Great Toad Sage, by using the DNA of the Giant Toad, whom I encountered at Mt. Myo, as well as the Nine Tailed Beasts from the Jubi's chakra, sending his body out of this world, creating the moon... My other Dimension is called the Underworld, which is the Dimension I sealed away the Nine Titans of this world to, by using the Legendary Weapon... If this Kabuto guy is able to utilize my true ability, he's probably going to transfer you and I there... To be able to cancel my technique, you'll have to use the Legendary Weapon..."
Naruto: The Legendary Weapon?? As in one of the Six Treasured Tools?? Because I only have one of them in my possession, The Staff of Fortune and Destiny...
"No... You'll have to use the Goddess Sword... But to be able to use the Sword, you'll have to prove yourself worthy as its wielder... Not everyone can wield the Sword you see."
Naruto: The Goddess Sword??... Hmm... The Jubi did mention it earlier, but he said he would tell that story some other time...
"The Sword can only be wielded by a living person, so even I can't cancel the technique once I've gone through with it in this state... and to be able to prove yourself, you must..."
As the Sage went on with his speech, Naruto remembered back to when he had just sealed the Jubi, and his first conversation with him.
*Flashback within Flashback Begins*
'Jubi: ... For you to better grasp what I'm talking about, I should start from the beginning... The Sage, Uzumaki Naruto, was born in a time of chaos and war, where samurai tribes where battling for control over the land. These battles had gone on for ages and ages without stop... War between different clans and empires... The Sage grew up in a family whom were distanced from the battlefield, living in a small hut up in the mountain. It wasn't until he was 15 years old that his whole family was slaughtered by the local Oda clan, blamed for spying on them and reporting to their rival enemies. The Sage escaped and found shelter in a neighbor chapel. Here, he underwent studies of the old, ancient gods of the past, the creators of the earth. His sect was founded on values of benevolence and peace. They spread their teachings across the land, encouraging several tribes and clans to turn to peace, and not war. The Oda clan, being the most powerful of them all, quickly found out of this and ordered their most skilled warriors to eliminate the whole sect. There were only two survivors... The Sage... and his future wife. They sought refugee with the Sanada clan, where they spent their next ten years as the clan slowly, but steadily, got weaker and smaller. During his time here, the Sage one day came across the Legendary Sword in the ruins of an old temple, after venturing through a dark hallway, leading into a magical place... a pond, surrounded by rocks on all sides.
Naruto: The Legendary sword?
Jubi: Yes... Formerly known as The Goddess Sword... This timeless place was surrounded with miles and miles of dessert and wasteland on all sides and the Sage came here after being told that he was chosen to find the sword in a dream. The sword was stuck in something called the Pedestal of...
Naruto: Yeah?
Jubi: ...I'll tell you more about it another time, as it's not important right now.
Naruto: ...'
*Flashback within Flashback Temporary Stops*
"...Defeat me..."
Naruto: Defeat you?? What do you mean??
"But not by jutsu, but by the skill of the sword... You have to defeat me, the former wielder of the Master Sword to show your worth... The Sword once know as the Goddess Sword, the Blade of Evil's Bane, from the ancient time of the old... The Sword can only be wielded by one with a pure heart, one with a lot of courage and determination, one chosen by the Goddess herself. In order to cancel my Underworld dimension technique, you will have to draw the Master Sword from something called the Pedestal of Time..."
Naruto: The Pedestal of Time?? If it's that easy, why do I have to go through all of the battle with the Titans then?? Can't I just go straight there and-...
"No... The Pedestal of Time with the Master Sword resting in it, can be found in the Great Dessert, where the Pond, surrounded by rocks on all sides can be found; in the ruins of where the Great Temple once stood... It should be located on one of the isles in the Underworld dimension. I replicated the ground of where I once found the Sword myself in the real world, into this dimension, and when I sealed the Titans within the Sword, I had to lay it to rest in the Pedestal of Time... Until the next chosen Hero would rise to claim it his own. Drawing the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, is the Gateway to get out of the Underworld dimension... But by doing so, you will release the Titans into the real world as well... That's why you will have to defeat them first, before you draw it..."
Naruto: Hmm... How do I know when I've fulfilled those requirements??
"You will know when the time comes..."
Still unsure about what the Sage meant by all of this, trying to grasp it all at once, Naruto once again slipped to his mind, thinking back to the recent events.
*Flashback within Flashback Continues*
'Jubi: At the age of 28, the Sage one day ventured up into the local mountains, and it was there he met the wizard. The Wizard asked him what he really sought to do with his life, what his true path and goals would be, if granted the power to seek them. The Sage replied that he wanted to end the ever-lasting, never-ending war, that had gone on for ages, and create peace and harmony throughout the land. The Wizard told him that he could grant him powers to achieve that, but that he would have to use these powers for that purpose and that purpose alone, or the land would be cursed forever to witness war, death and cruelty in a never ending circle of hate. The Wizard gave him two crucial items... The Founding Book of Jutsu, and the Staff of Fortune and Destiny. With the book, he would be able to access and acquire god like powers, and with the staff, he would be able to change fate and destiny, and create anything he wanted. With it, the Sage created the five other treasured tools later in his life...
Naruto: I see...
Jubi: After studying the book for the whole night, the Sage woke up the next morning with a feeling he never had felt before... He had gained the affinity for chakra and all that comes with it. Amazed by this, the Sage hurried back home to tell his wife what he had witnessed... As he got closer and closer to the small town, he noticed flames and chaos everywhere... The Sanada clan had been attacked while he was gone, and every member of it had been slain. The Sage found countless of slain friends and allies all across town, and the sky had turned red because of all the blood spilled... It was then that he found what he had hoped he would not find...
Naruto: ?!
Jubi: His wife, dead on the ground... He took her close to his chest as he cried heavily... But, he was not able to grieve for long, as the samurai warriors that had slain the clan were still close, and they had heard his cries and agony as they quickly surrounded him...
Naruto: !!
Jubi: It was then that the Sage got up on his feet and used the very first ninja technique to ever have existed, which later became known as ninjutsu... With it, he quickly wiped out all of the assassins. He then utilized the Staff of Fortune and Destiny to change the fate of the Sanada clan, bringing them all back to life, including his wife...
Naruto: ...
Jubi: There was, however, one samurai assassin whom survived, as he fled the scene to report back to the leader of the Oda clan... As the leader got informed of the incident and the miracles that followed, he quickly gathered his armies to wipe out this new threat. The Sage, through quick persuasion, managed to gather all the other clans together, to fight the Oda clan in one final battle... The battle was long and hard, but the Sage and the other clans stood triumphant as the leader of the Oda clan and the members of it perished... It was then, some years later, that the Sage created the five other treasured tools with the Staff of Fortune and Destiny, and with it, the curse was also placed upon the land...
Naruto: What?!
Jubi: Not long after, I, the Monster of Earth, Sea and Heaven, the Jubi, was unleashed. Unlike now, I did not have a conscience back then, and I was just a mindless beast, seeking destruction...
Naruto: A curse? So you're saying that this sole incident is the reason for the never ending hate and war? But how? And where did you come from?
Jubi: I do not have access to such information... but I have a feeling it was from the curse... the curse that would be placed upon the land if the Sage used his powers for anything else than stopping the war and creating peace... The Sage, being the only one who could prevent the destruction of the earth, used his Six Treasured Tools and the Legendary Sword, as well as the knowledge and skills he had learned from the Founding Book of Jutsu, to oppose me... but... he quickly realized that there was no stopping me if he wasn't willing to put his own body at risk... That's when he sealed me inside himself, and gained access to my powers... The Sage had a strong body and a massive chakra source, enabling him to keep me sealed inside himself and to use his powerful tools. After he sealed me away, he had access to all my powers... and then, he was complete... He used this new abilities to create peace and stability throughout the land, in a time of chaos... Not through power, but through guidance... After sealing me, his eyes changed into what is now known as the Rinnegan...
Naruto: ...
"And Samurai clans?? Do they still exists??"
Naruto: Samurai clans?? Now that you mention it... I'm from Konohagakure, the hidden village of the Land of Fire, but there's also the Land of Iron, where the last Samurai still exist...
"Land of Iron?!"
Naruto: What, does it sound familiar??
"The three wolves mountains... So they still exist after all these years.."
Great Toad Sage: ...This man will tie past with future and become... complete... Hmm... It's unclear, but this man will then meet several people from the past, people he knows... And together move on towards the future. Meeting those from the past will call upon an important choice by this man. Then...
Hashirama: ...
Naruto: Actually, getting the chance to talk to you all about anything and everything is great, but...
Tobirama: What is it kid?
Naruto: This is an opportunity I can't let slip, as there's something I've been meaning to ask, something I have been trying to find the answer to for many years. The will you entrusted in me, Jiraiya-Sensei... Finding the Key to Peace. I'm still not sure... I still haven't found the real key yet... But maybe you guys have something that could help me...
Jiraiya: Naruto...
Naruto: The 1st... What do you think is the key to peace?
Hashirama: The key to peace huh...
Tobirama: There will never be any peace, as long as the Uchiha is around...
Madara: What did you say?
Hashirama: Tobirama! Enough already!
Naruto: ...
Hashirama: Controlling the land with Benevolence and Love... that is the key to peace...
Naruto: The 2nd?
Tobirama: Hmm... Strict Control and Supervision, that is the key to peace...

Hiruzen: Long term Stability and Guidance Naruto... That's the key.

Minato: Acknowledgement and Bonds of Honor and mutual Respect son... But if anyone will find it, I believe it will be you...

Jiraiya: I've already entrusted my will to you Naruto... And I know you will find the key, if you look deep into your heart.
Orochimaru: You're a fool Jiraiya, do you really believe that this kid will find the key to peace? There is no such thing as true eternal peace...

Madara: Hashirama and Tobirama are wrong... Love and Control alone can't bring peace. Power and Hatred, creating Fear in the people's mind and to rule with Iron Will is the key... As long as the people don't dare revolt, there will always be peace... When people don't pursue foolish ambitions...
Tobirama: Are you for real? There can't be love and hate at the same time! As long as those two co-exist, there can never be peace!
Hashirama: My brother is right... You once had the same vision as I Madara... You can't create fear in the heart of the people, that's never going to work...
Naruto: The Moon Eye Plan...
Thinking long and hard about what the eight Edo Tensei said, Naruto could not come up with a reply.
Kushina: Son... Come here for a second.
Naruto then proceeded to walk over to Kushina, and as he stepped within her circle, Kushina went on to place her hand on his shoulder, giving him a smile of confidence; Minato and Jiraiya, standing beside her, did the same.
Kushina: We all believe in you Naruto, and no matter what happens-...
Minato: ...You will always be our son.
Jiraiya: Ehehehe, they're right, you hold the key to peace in your heart Naruto...
Hashirama: We entrust our will to you as well, to find the key... The Will of Fire is strong in you, perhaps the strongest I've ever seen.
Tobirama: He's right... You're the only Hokage left alive after all, and the only one among us who can still find the key to true peace., From what I can tell, you might even rival my brother with your current skills. Though one can never get too much knowledge, and you're still young and got much to learn... When and if you get to the same age as Hiruzen, maybe you can look back at the history of Konoha, and tell your legacy who was the greatest of them all.
Hiruzen: We all believe in you!
Minato: Now, Naruto... My son. Now that we've had our chance to talk, you really should try to seal us away while you still can...
Tobirama: Heh, well done kid... You truly are an amazing Hokage after all...
Hashirama: Well done, until we meet again in the afterlife...
Naruto: Don't worry, I'll find away to set free your souls for good. I have a feeling we will meet again, Shodaime Hokage!
Madara: !!... Not bad... Make sure you actually find the key to peace, kid... Only Hashirama had been able to best me in battle twice...
Naruto: I will.
Hiruzen: Never give up, always trust your instincts.
Jiraiya: Gehehehe, you have surpassed me by miles Naruto. Until we meet again!
Kushina: Naruto, my son... My lovely son... If we only had more time in life together.
Naruto: I-... *Sniff* Will make you all proud, I promise you from the bottom of my heart!
Minato: It's all over now son... I'm so proud of you. I believe you will become the greatest Hokage to ever live in Konoha! Until we meet again.
Naruto: Thanks dad.
"Tell me your resolve... It seems like the Curse of Hatred still exists in this world... The never-ending curse must be lifted... The unfulfilled task that I left behind, created by my very own hands and foolish idea. It must be stopped for true, ever-lasting peace to ever happen..."
Naruto: So you know the key to create peace??!
"No... You will have to break the curse..."
Naruto: But how??
"Look deep into your heart to find the answer you seek... If you truly are my successor, you'll find the key to peace eventually..."
Naruto: I...
"I can't give you the key, but I'll teach you something to guide you in your quest. I can sense your true resolve within your heart... Your will might even be stronger than mine."'
*Flashback within Flashback Ends*
Naruto: So I'll have to draw the Master Sword then... How do you even know that any of this is going to happen? How do you know Kabuto will make you perform that dimensional transfer technique, summoning these Nine Titans that I'll have to overcome?? How do you-..
"Just trust me on this one... The most important thing is that you need to continue what I started, to break the curse that I placed upon the land, and to bring on true peace. In order to do that, you'll have to first overcome this challenge... I believe it's a test, your test, to test your true resolve. This is your Fate, Naruto, your Destiny, that the Goddess has chosen for you..."
Naruto: The Goddess?? Who is-...
"In time, everything will fall in place... Now, let me tell you more about the Titans... After I encountered the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo, I was faced with the greatest challenge of my life, even greater than the Jubi's threat... The Nine Titans... Using the Master Sword, I sealed them off inside the sword, into the dimension of the Underworld... In this dimension, the rule of time does not exist, and everything that happens here is ruled by the Staff of Fortune and Destiny. Seeing as you now have that tool in your possession, you can alter my technique... Since nothing is real, I can simply alter the fate and destiny with the staff, bringing back the Titans to life, even if you're able to defeat them..."
Naruto: Then how do I deal with them?? You said I had to defeat them before drawing the Sword to be able to cancel the technique without unleashing them into the real world?? How will I be able to do that, if you're going to keep reviving them??
"The moment all of the Titans are gone, and before I manages to revive them, you will have to hasten. You can stall my ritual by countering it with the Staff of Fortune and Destiny you now posses yourself too, though not for long. You'll have to-..."
Naruto: But I've already used its limit, so I can't use the Staff again in another two years!
"You're forgetting that in this dimension, time does not apply... Like I said, use the staff to prevent me from reviving the Titans and hurry over to the Magic Pond where the Master Sword rests... Draw it from the Pedestal of Time, become its new wielder and bring an end to my dimensional transfer technique... Become the man you were destined to be!"
Naruto: I...
"Now let's see if you have what it takes..."
Suddenly, Naruto's Bijou Mode vanished as he felt an odd feeling flowing through his body.
Naruto: What just happened?! My Bijou Mode, My chakra reserve... It's gone?!
In response to this, Naruto tried to preform a technique, but quickly found himself not able to.
Naruto: What is this?? What are you-...
"Relax... So this is what you look like in your ordinary appearance... This is the first time your Bijou Mode has been shut off since you sealed the Jubi, right??"
Naruto: How did you... But yeah, ever since I sealed the Jubi, I've been unable to cancel my Bijou Mode...
"I see... It's the same as I experienced... But don't worry, it's not permanent. It's only your body adapting to it..."
Naruto: But why can't I feel my chakra now?? What have you done?
"Heh, I forgot to tell you apparently... The Skyworld Dimension, is the Dimension of Common Men. No Ninja Technique can be utilized here... It just took this long before your Bijou Mode finally turned off it seems... Using my mind, and the Yin Style, I'll be able to create things out of my imagination, to create form out of nothingness. By making things with my mind, and transferring them over to the Underworld, where I apply Yang release to the thought, I'll be able to breathe life into form... In other words, the Skyworld represents the Yin release, while the Underworld represents the Yang release... Now that you have my powers, you should be able to Master these powers too eventually. But for now, let me see how good you are with a sword!"
Naruto: ...
Drawing a sword from his back, the Sage readied himself as Naruto stood idle by.
"Now, let's have this battle to test your worth, to find out if you truly are my successor and if you'll be able to wield the magical Master Sword!"
Naruto: But I don't wield such a weapon!!
"Here, take this..."'
*Flashback Ends*
Fukasaku: Naruto, now is your chance!!
Shima: It's now or never, get your ass over to the sword, now!
Naruto: Yeah right!! But what if I'm not able to draw it from the Pedestal of Time, what if I'm not worthy??
Fukasaku: No time to think about that now, just go!
Shima: And if you're unable to, then let's deal with it when we get there!
Naruto: Yosh.
Leaping off at great speed, Naruto headed for the Great Dessert!
*Flashback Begins*
"Here, take this..."
Naruto: !!
Tossing him a sword of equal appearance, Naruto quickly caught it in his hand, much to the Sage's surprise.
"So your reflexes are this great, even with all of your shinobi abilities gone..."
Naruto: Old-Man-Sennin...
"Now then, let's see how great you really are, give me your best kid!!"
* Will Naruto satisfy the Sage's demand of swordsmanship and will he be able to reach the magical Pond and draw the Master Sword from its resting place?? Find out, next time in a battle of ordinary men! *

1: After my previous chapter release, where I asked you guys about my Social Group and your preference when it came to new releases, I've decided that I'll link every member/fan who has read the latest/previous chapter (shown by either having commented on and/or thanked the previous thread), and everyone else that still need to read the one before my new release, will have to find the link by subscribing to and getting the link from this discussion (or by finding it themselves or asking me personally);
2: My release plan, for those wondering, is as follows;
- Finish this sequel, TLSoK Returns (30 chapters in total).
- Finish the sequel that follows this one, TLSoK's Legacy (6 chapter-ed work).
- Finish the TLSoK Short Movie.
- Finish The Legendary Sage of Six Paths, which will be the FF about the Sage.
- Start out, or rather continue my original work, The Three Kingdoms (I wrote Chapter 1 two years ago, but have yet to do a release xD).
- At some point, manage to do a Western based collaboration FF with someone (at this point, Kuroi Honoo and Escorpiius are the candidates and the idea is shelved).
- And when this is all said and done (if ever, haha), I might do a FF about the following; The Legend of Zelda, Star Wars: The Old Republic and a Gangster/Modern time FF, but those are just some loose ideas I've had for some time... Regarding the FF about the Sage of Six Paths, I decided some time ago that I would try to do that one in Novel/Description style (like real books are written), so let's see how that goes.
3: Some months ago, when I changed my avatar, some people started asking me if each of the four images meant something, or if they were just random. I partly revealed what they meant, so here's a recap/full reveal;
- The first image of "Hokage Naruto" represent this FF series.
- The second of "The Sage of Six Paths" represents the FF I'll do about him (already said I had been planning that for awhile).
- The third image is the "Master Sword" from The Legend of Zelda Series, which make its official debut in the next chapter of TLSoK. It will play a minor role in TLSoK and TLSoSP (FF about the Sage), but, it still have other roles to fill beyond that! Though that's secret for now, haha
- The fourth is a picture of "Lu Bu from the Dynasty Warriors series," which is a game series based on the Historic Novel "The Romance of The Three Kingdoms and the adaption, Three Kingdoms," which is based on historic events during the fall of the Han Dynasty of China, which is what my original work, "Three Kingdoms," will draw inspiration from.
4: I'll be trying to wrap this sequel up in the next few week, so you might see more than one chapter a week from now on... Next target for release is this very Friday (or perhaps even sooner), so stay tuned!
5: I know this chapter, despite it's decent length, had some flashbacks to previous chapters... And the main reason for that was and is to set the mood for what this chapter had to offer, remind the readers of what have happened before and what Naruto is going through, and to use as a build up for what to come.

The Legendary Sage of Konoha Returns, Chapter 21;
Battle of Gods:
Naruto: Ma, Pa, this is it.
Fukasaku: Yeah...
Shima: I'm ready.
Naruto: Let's do this then...
SoSP (Static Voice): Come then, Naruto-Kun!!
Naruto, in his Super Sennin-Bijou Mode, the third and final stage of the Bijou Mode, then leaped off towards the Deformed Titan as he was joined by his Ultimate Summon, the God of War. The two forces crashed head on as mighty shockwaves were sent in all directions, cutting down nearby trees and causing giant Tsunamis to be sent towards the several isles around them.
SoSP (Static Voice): ?!
Using his two gigantic Jubi chakra swords, Naruto slashed at the titanic deformed Titan, whom had ripped off the top of a giant mountain, and used it as a weapon to counter as rocks shattered and flew everywhere. The God of War also had a long sword in hand, and was about the same size as the deformed Titan, towering a bit over Naruto's Super Sennin-Bijou Mode, which was a bit smaller compared to the two of them. His armor was metallic and completely black, as his eyes glowed red and his sword was of beam-like entity, with the color of black at its core with white lines around. He swung around, attempting to hit the Deformed Titan from the rear, but as he was about to make impact, a large hand with sword in its grip emerged from its back, blocking the strike. The impact Naruto and the God of War had with the Titan, caused the Sage and his Six Headed Elemental Dragon to get tossed of the head of the Titan, as they flew through the air. Seeing an opportunity to get the upper hand, Naruto signaled the God of War to keep the Titan in check as he himself went for the Sage as the shockwaves were still shaking up the environment around them.
Naruto: *Pant, pant* I'll not be able to keep this up for long, we will have to end this now!
Fukasaku: Then don't hold back!
Shima: Give it your all kid!
SoSP (Static Voice): This final stage of yours really is powerful, but how long will you be able to keep it up I wonder??
Maneuvering around and dodging Naruto's attacks, the Sage, with his dragon, flew at a fast pace, barely avoiding his strikes. His Sennin-Bijou Mode looked very insignificant compared to the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode of Naruto, as he was a bit unsure on how to deal with Naruto's last trick. Flying around to Naruto's back, all of the six heads of the dragon fired up each of their elemental attack, hitting Naruto dead on, but they did little to no damage, as the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode's massive armor protected Naruto with ease. In the background, the God of War and the Deformed Titan were struggling to overpower each other, as the Titan had formed a long rusty sword in its hand which it was parrying the God of War's attacks with. With each clash, massive shockwaves were sent out, washing over the nearby isles, splitting off nearby mountain-tops and causing a real havoc.
SoSP (Static Voice): It had no effect??
Turning around in an instant, Naruto swung his swords as he hit the left wing of the dragon, cutting it off in the process as it tumbled towards the ground, crashing into a nearby mountain. Moving in for the kill, Naruto quickly hastened himself to catch up with him as he plunged one of his chakra swords right through the dragon's back, nailing it to the ground. Trying to break free but in vain, the Sage realized that Naruto was about to finish the dragon off as he jumped away from it as Naruto swung his other sword, aiming for the six heads. But as he did, the Super Sennin-Bijou Mode ran out as it reverted back to the regular Bijou Mode. The chakra sword, nailing the Six Headed Elemental Dragon to the ground however, still remained intact as it was restricting the Dragons movement.
Naruto: Damn it... Guess I'll need more training to fully master that stage.
SoSP (Static Voice): So this is your limit, Naruto-Kun... Kehehe *Smirk.*
Naruto: It's not over yet!
Heading straight for the Sage, whom still were covered in his Sennin-Bijou Mode, Naruto pressed on the attack despite his form reverting back to the regular Bijou Mode, clearly being at a disadvantage. With a Bijou Bomb in his hand, Naruto then clashed with the Sage as a loud explosion appeared between the two of them, sending them both flying away from each other.
Naruto: Ugh!
As Naruto regained his balance, he noticed that the Deformed Titan had tumbled over as the God of War had chopped of its head, disappearing in a giant cloud of smoke in the process.
Fukasaku: You'll have to take care of that dragon now, before it's too late!
Naruto: Right!!
Shima: !! Naruto, what are you doing, the Dragon is that way!!
Naruto: I know alright!!
Instead of heading towards the dragon, Naruto suddenly raced off in another direction as Shima began questioning his choice.
Naruto: This is the spot!
Fukasaku: I always put my trust in you kid, but what on earth are you planning??!
Naruto: When the Giant Toad was defeated earlier, his sword sunk to the bottom of the sea, in this exact spot... I'm going to use it to finish this!!
Shima: !!
Submerging into the sea, Naruto headed straight for the bottom of it as he discovered the sword stuck to the bottom. Grabbing onto its hilt, Naruto let out a deep moan as he was trying to break it free from the spot it was stuck in. Not only that, but the sword was in fact of gigantic proportions too as Naruto finally began to move it, little by little, as he headed for the surface. Over at the Dragon's pinned position, the Sage was trying to loosen the chakra sword stuck into the dragon's back, nailing it to the ground as he noticed Naruto emerging from the sea with the giant long sword of the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo in hand, racing towards them.
Naruto: Arrrrrrrgh!!! Take this!!
SoSP (Static Voice): ?!
Sending it off at great speed, the longsword went straight for the dragon as the Sage was still struggling to get the chakra-sword out of its back. Before he managed to react, the longsword pierced right through all of the six heads from the side as it crashed into the mountain, finishing off the last of the great Titans in an instant.
SoSP (Static Voice): It can't be?? Never mind that, I'll just bring them all back again!!
Naruto: I don't think so!!
As the Sage tried to revive the Titans like he did before, he quickly realized that it did not work the way he planned as nothing happened.
SoSP (Static Voice): How, why is it not working?!
Naruto: *Smirk*
SoSP (Static Voice): Damn you Naruto-Kun, what have you done!!
Firing up a Dai Rasenringu in hand, the Sage threw it towards Naruto at immense speed, as Naruto countered with a Rasenshuriken of his own.
Naruto: Super Nova Element; Rasenshuriken!
Combining his five nature elements, Naruto created the same Rasenshuriken he used to finish off Tobi earlier as it collided with the Rasenringu right in between the Sage and himself, causing a massive explosion pulverizing anything and everything within its reach to dust as Naruto had to use the Flying Thunder God to avoid being caught in the blast. Reappearing some hundred kilometers away, he was struggling to catch his breath.
Shima: Naruto!! Now is your chance!!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Shima: Naruto, can you hear me?!!
Still pretty shaken up from the final encounter, Naruto heard a high pitched noise in his ears, as Shima was trying to reach through to him. Thinking back on what the Sage said, as well as what he had witnessed in this dimension, Naruto knew that he was close... Close to finding the way out of this dreadful technique.
*Flashback Begins*
'Fukasaku: The Forsaken Forest of Mt. Myo is a dark, mysterious and holy place... It was once the home of the giants of this world, including the Titans of the Underworld, before they got sealed away to the underworld. That's why no one dares go there, just imagine the size of all the creatures!
"This dimension is called the Overworld, or Skyworld if you'd like. This is where I created the Great Toad Sage, by using the DNA of the Giant Toad, whom I encountered at Mt. Myo, as well as the Nine Tailed Beasts from the Jubi's chakra, sending his body out of this world, creating the moon... My other Dimension is called the Underworld, which is the Dimension I sealed away the Nine Titans of this world to, by using the Legendary Weapon... If this Kabuto guy is able to utilize my true ability, he's probably going to transfer you and I there... To be able to cancel my technique, you'll have to use the Legendary Weapon..."
Naruto: The Legendary Weapon?? As in one of the Six Treasured Tools?? Because I only have one of them in my possession, The Staff of Fortune and Destiny...
"No... You'll have to use the Goddess Sword... But to be able to use the Sword, you'll have to prove yourself worthy as its wielder... Not everyone can wield the Sword you see."
Naruto: The Goddess Sword??... Hmm... The Jubi did mention it earlier, but he said he would tell that story some other time...
"The Sword can only be wielded by a living person, so even I can't cancel the technique once I've gone through with it in this state... and to be able to prove yourself, you must..."
As the Sage went on with his speech, Naruto remembered back to when he had just sealed the Jubi, and his first conversation with him.
*Flashback within Flashback Begins*
'Jubi: ... For you to better grasp what I'm talking about, I should start from the beginning... The Sage, Uzumaki Naruto, was born in a time of chaos and war, where samurai tribes where battling for control over the land. These battles had gone on for ages and ages without stop... War between different clans and empires... The Sage grew up in a family whom were distanced from the battlefield, living in a small hut up in the mountain. It wasn't until he was 15 years old that his whole family was slaughtered by the local Oda clan, blamed for spying on them and reporting to their rival enemies. The Sage escaped and found shelter in a neighbor chapel. Here, he underwent studies of the old, ancient gods of the past, the creators of the earth. His sect was founded on values of benevolence and peace. They spread their teachings across the land, encouraging several tribes and clans to turn to peace, and not war. The Oda clan, being the most powerful of them all, quickly found out of this and ordered their most skilled warriors to eliminate the whole sect. There were only two survivors... The Sage... and his future wife. They sought refugee with the Sanada clan, where they spent their next ten years as the clan slowly, but steadily, got weaker and smaller. During his time here, the Sage one day came across the Legendary Sword in the ruins of an old temple, after venturing through a dark hallway, leading into a magical place... a pond, surrounded by rocks on all sides.
Naruto: The Legendary sword?
Jubi: Yes... Formerly known as The Goddess Sword... This timeless place was surrounded with miles and miles of dessert and wasteland on all sides and the Sage came here after being told that he was chosen to find the sword in a dream. The sword was stuck in something called the Pedestal of...
Naruto: Yeah?
Jubi: ...I'll tell you more about it another time, as it's not important right now.
Naruto: ...'
*Flashback within Flashback Temporary Stops*
"...Defeat me..."
Naruto: Defeat you?? What do you mean??
"But not by jutsu, but by the skill of the sword... You have to defeat me, the former wielder of the Master Sword to show your worth... The Sword once know as the Goddess Sword, the Blade of Evil's Bane, from the ancient time of the old... The Sword can only be wielded by one with a pure heart, one with a lot of courage and determination, one chosen by the Goddess herself. In order to cancel my Underworld dimension technique, you will have to draw the Master Sword from something called the Pedestal of Time..."
Naruto: The Pedestal of Time?? If it's that easy, why do I have to go through all of the battle with the Titans then?? Can't I just go straight there and-...
"No... The Pedestal of Time with the Master Sword resting in it, can be found in the Great Dessert, where the Pond, surrounded by rocks on all sides can be found; in the ruins of where the Great Temple once stood... It should be located on one of the isles in the Underworld dimension. I replicated the ground of where I once found the Sword myself in the real world, into this dimension, and when I sealed the Titans within the Sword, I had to lay it to rest in the Pedestal of Time... Until the next chosen Hero would rise to claim it his own. Drawing the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, is the Gateway to get out of the Underworld dimension... But by doing so, you will release the Titans into the real world as well... That's why you will have to defeat them first, before you draw it..."
Naruto: Hmm... How do I know when I've fulfilled those requirements??
"You will know when the time comes..."
Still unsure about what the Sage meant by all of this, trying to grasp it all at once, Naruto once again slipped to his mind, thinking back to the recent events.
*Flashback within Flashback Continues*
'Jubi: At the age of 28, the Sage one day ventured up into the local mountains, and it was there he met the wizard. The Wizard asked him what he really sought to do with his life, what his true path and goals would be, if granted the power to seek them. The Sage replied that he wanted to end the ever-lasting, never-ending war, that had gone on for ages, and create peace and harmony throughout the land. The Wizard told him that he could grant him powers to achieve that, but that he would have to use these powers for that purpose and that purpose alone, or the land would be cursed forever to witness war, death and cruelty in a never ending circle of hate. The Wizard gave him two crucial items... The Founding Book of Jutsu, and the Staff of Fortune and Destiny. With the book, he would be able to access and acquire god like powers, and with the staff, he would be able to change fate and destiny, and create anything he wanted. With it, the Sage created the five other treasured tools later in his life...
Naruto: I see...
Jubi: After studying the book for the whole night, the Sage woke up the next morning with a feeling he never had felt before... He had gained the affinity for chakra and all that comes with it. Amazed by this, the Sage hurried back home to tell his wife what he had witnessed... As he got closer and closer to the small town, he noticed flames and chaos everywhere... The Sanada clan had been attacked while he was gone, and every member of it had been slain. The Sage found countless of slain friends and allies all across town, and the sky had turned red because of all the blood spilled... It was then that he found what he had hoped he would not find...
Naruto: ?!
Jubi: His wife, dead on the ground... He took her close to his chest as he cried heavily... But, he was not able to grieve for long, as the samurai warriors that had slain the clan were still close, and they had heard his cries and agony as they quickly surrounded him...
Naruto: !!
Jubi: It was then that the Sage got up on his feet and used the very first ninja technique to ever have existed, which later became known as ninjutsu... With it, he quickly wiped out all of the assassins. He then utilized the Staff of Fortune and Destiny to change the fate of the Sanada clan, bringing them all back to life, including his wife...
Naruto: ...
Jubi: There was, however, one samurai assassin whom survived, as he fled the scene to report back to the leader of the Oda clan... As the leader got informed of the incident and the miracles that followed, he quickly gathered his armies to wipe out this new threat. The Sage, through quick persuasion, managed to gather all the other clans together, to fight the Oda clan in one final battle... The battle was long and hard, but the Sage and the other clans stood triumphant as the leader of the Oda clan and the members of it perished... It was then, some years later, that the Sage created the five other treasured tools with the Staff of Fortune and Destiny, and with it, the curse was also placed upon the land...
Naruto: What?!
Jubi: Not long after, I, the Monster of Earth, Sea and Heaven, the Jubi, was unleashed. Unlike now, I did not have a conscience back then, and I was just a mindless beast, seeking destruction...
Naruto: A curse? So you're saying that this sole incident is the reason for the never ending hate and war? But how? And where did you come from?
Jubi: I do not have access to such information... but I have a feeling it was from the curse... the curse that would be placed upon the land if the Sage used his powers for anything else than stopping the war and creating peace... The Sage, being the only one who could prevent the destruction of the earth, used his Six Treasured Tools and the Legendary Sword, as well as the knowledge and skills he had learned from the Founding Book of Jutsu, to oppose me... but... he quickly realized that there was no stopping me if he wasn't willing to put his own body at risk... That's when he sealed me inside himself, and gained access to my powers... The Sage had a strong body and a massive chakra source, enabling him to keep me sealed inside himself and to use his powerful tools. After he sealed me away, he had access to all my powers... and then, he was complete... He used this new abilities to create peace and stability throughout the land, in a time of chaos... Not through power, but through guidance... After sealing me, his eyes changed into what is now known as the Rinnegan...
Naruto: ...
"And Samurai clans?? Do they still exists??"
Naruto: Samurai clans?? Now that you mention it... I'm from Konohagakure, the hidden village of the Land of Fire, but there's also the Land of Iron, where the last Samurai still exist...
"Land of Iron?!"
Naruto: What, does it sound familiar??
"The three wolves mountains... So they still exist after all these years.."
Great Toad Sage: ...This man will tie past with future and become... complete... Hmm... It's unclear, but this man will then meet several people from the past, people he knows... And together move on towards the future. Meeting those from the past will call upon an important choice by this man. Then...
Hashirama: ...
Naruto: Actually, getting the chance to talk to you all about anything and everything is great, but...
Tobirama: What is it kid?
Naruto: This is an opportunity I can't let slip, as there's something I've been meaning to ask, something I have been trying to find the answer to for many years. The will you entrusted in me, Jiraiya-Sensei... Finding the Key to Peace. I'm still not sure... I still haven't found the real key yet... But maybe you guys have something that could help me...
Jiraiya: Naruto...
Naruto: The 1st... What do you think is the key to peace?
Hashirama: The key to peace huh...
Tobirama: There will never be any peace, as long as the Uchiha is around...
Madara: What did you say?
Hashirama: Tobirama! Enough already!
Naruto: ...
Hashirama: Controlling the land with Benevolence and Love... that is the key to peace...
Naruto: The 2nd?
Tobirama: Hmm... Strict Control and Supervision, that is the key to peace...
Naruto: 3rd?
Hiruzen: Long term Stability and Guidance Naruto... That's the key.
Naruto: Hmmm... Dad?
Minato: Acknowledgement and Bonds of Honor and mutual Respect son... But if anyone will find it, I believe it will be you...
Naruto: Mom?
Kushina: Oh you know I'm with your father on this one.
Naruto: Hehe... Ero-Sennin?
Jiraiya: I've already entrusted my will to you Naruto... And I know you will find the key, if you look deep into your heart.
Orochimaru: You're a fool Jiraiya, do you really believe that this kid will find the key to peace? There is no such thing as true eternal peace...
Naruto: ...
Madara: Hashirama and Tobirama are wrong... Love and Control alone can't bring peace. Power and Hatred, creating Fear in the people's mind and to rule with Iron Will is the key... As long as the people don't dare revolt, there will always be peace... When people don't pursue foolish ambitions...
Tobirama: Are you for real? There can't be love and hate at the same time! As long as those two co-exist, there can never be peace!
Hashirama: My brother is right... You once had the same vision as I Madara... You can't create fear in the heart of the people, that's never going to work...
Naruto: The Moon Eye Plan...
Thinking long and hard about what the eight Edo Tensei said, Naruto could not come up with a reply.
Kushina: Son... Come here for a second.
Naruto then proceeded to walk over to Kushina, and as he stepped within her circle, Kushina went on to place her hand on his shoulder, giving him a smile of confidence; Minato and Jiraiya, standing beside her, did the same.
Kushina: We all believe in you Naruto, and no matter what happens-...
Minato: ...You will always be our son.
Jiraiya: Ehehehe, they're right, you hold the key to peace in your heart Naruto...
Hashirama: We entrust our will to you as well, to find the key... The Will of Fire is strong in you, perhaps the strongest I've ever seen.
Tobirama: He's right... You're the only Hokage left alive after all, and the only one among us who can still find the key to true peace., From what I can tell, you might even rival my brother with your current skills. Though one can never get too much knowledge, and you're still young and got much to learn... When and if you get to the same age as Hiruzen, maybe you can look back at the history of Konoha, and tell your legacy who was the greatest of them all.
Hiruzen: We all believe in you!
Minato: Now, Naruto... My son. Now that we've had our chance to talk, you really should try to seal us away while you still can...
Tobirama: Heh, well done kid... You truly are an amazing Hokage after all...
Hashirama: Well done, until we meet again in the afterlife...
Naruto: Don't worry, I'll find away to set free your souls for good. I have a feeling we will meet again, Shodaime Hokage!
Madara: !!... Not bad... Make sure you actually find the key to peace, kid... Only Hashirama had been able to best me in battle twice...
Naruto: I will.
Hiruzen: Never give up, always trust your instincts.
Jiraiya: Gehehehe, you have surpassed me by miles Naruto. Until we meet again!
Kushina: Naruto, my son... My lovely son... If we only had more time in life together.
Naruto: I-... *Sniff* Will make you all proud, I promise you from the bottom of my heart!
Minato: It's all over now son... I'm so proud of you. I believe you will become the greatest Hokage to ever live in Konoha! Until we meet again.
Naruto: Thanks dad.
"Tell me your resolve... It seems like the Curse of Hatred still exists in this world... The never-ending curse must be lifted... The unfulfilled task that I left behind, created by my very own hands and foolish idea. It must be stopped for true, ever-lasting peace to ever happen..."
Naruto: So you know the key to create peace??!
"No... You will have to break the curse..."
Naruto: But how??
"Look deep into your heart to find the answer you seek... If you truly are my successor, you'll find the key to peace eventually..."
Naruto: I...
"I can't give you the key, but I'll teach you something to guide you in your quest. I can sense your true resolve within your heart... Your will might even be stronger than mine."'
*Flashback within Flashback Ends*

"Just trust me on this one... The most important thing is that you need to continue what I started, to break the curse that I placed upon the land, and to bring on true peace. In order to do that, you'll have to first overcome this challenge... I believe it's a test, your test, to test your true resolve. This is your Fate, Naruto, your Destiny, that the Goddess has chosen for you..."
Naruto: The Goddess?? Who is-...
"In time, everything will fall in place... Now, let me tell you more about the Titans... After I encountered the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo, I was faced with the greatest challenge of my life, even greater than the Jubi's threat... The Nine Titans... Using the Master Sword, I sealed them off inside the sword, into the dimension of the Underworld... In this dimension, the rule of time does not exist, and everything that happens here is ruled by the Staff of Fortune and Destiny. Seeing as you now have that tool in your possession, you can alter my technique... Since nothing is real, I can simply alter the fate and destiny with the staff, bringing back the Titans to life, even if you're able to defeat them..."
Naruto: Then how do I deal with them?? You said I had to defeat them before drawing the Sword to be able to cancel the technique without unleashing them into the real world?? How will I be able to do that, if you're going to keep reviving them??
"The moment all of the Titans are gone, and before I manages to revive them, you will have to hasten. You can stall my ritual by countering it with the Staff of Fortune and Destiny you now posses yourself too, though not for long. You'll have to-..."
Naruto: But I've already used its limit, so I can't use the Staff again in another two years!
"You're forgetting that in this dimension, time does not apply... Like I said, use the staff to prevent me from reviving the Titans and hurry over to the Magic Pond where the Master Sword rests... Draw it from the Pedestal of Time, become its new wielder and bring an end to my dimensional transfer technique... Become the man you were destined to be!"
Naruto: I...
"Now let's see if you have what it takes..."
Suddenly, Naruto's Bijou Mode vanished as he felt an odd feeling flowing through his body.
Naruto: What just happened?! My Bijou Mode, My chakra reserve... It's gone?!
In response to this, Naruto tried to preform a technique, but quickly found himself not able to.
Naruto: What is this?? What are you-...
"Relax... So this is what you look like in your ordinary appearance... This is the first time your Bijou Mode has been shut off since you sealed the Jubi, right??"
Naruto: How did you... But yeah, ever since I sealed the Jubi, I've been unable to cancel my Bijou Mode...
"I see... It's the same as I experienced... But don't worry, it's not permanent. It's only your body adapting to it..."
Naruto: But why can't I feel my chakra now?? What have you done?
"Heh, I forgot to tell you apparently... The Skyworld Dimension, is the Dimension of Common Men. No Ninja Technique can be utilized here... It just took this long before your Bijou Mode finally turned off it seems... Using my mind, and the Yin Style, I'll be able to create things out of my imagination, to create form out of nothingness. By making things with my mind, and transferring them over to the Underworld, where I apply Yang release to the thought, I'll be able to breathe life into form... In other words, the Skyworld represents the Yin release, while the Underworld represents the Yang release... Now that you have my powers, you should be able to Master these powers too eventually. But for now, let me see how good you are with a sword!"
Naruto: ...
Drawing a sword from his back, the Sage readied himself as Naruto stood idle by.
"Now, let's have this battle to test your worth, to find out if you truly are my successor and if you'll be able to wield the magical Master Sword!"
Naruto: But I don't wield such a weapon!!
"Here, take this..."'
*Flashback Ends*
Fukasaku: Naruto, now is your chance!!
Shima: It's now or never, get your ass over to the sword, now!
Naruto: Yeah right!! But what if I'm not able to draw it from the Pedestal of Time, what if I'm not worthy??
Fukasaku: No time to think about that now, just go!
Shima: And if you're unable to, then let's deal with it when we get there!
Naruto: Yosh.
Leaping off at great speed, Naruto headed for the Great Dessert!
*Flashback Begins*
"Here, take this..."
Naruto: !!
Tossing him a sword of equal appearance, Naruto quickly caught it in his hand, much to the Sage's surprise.
"So your reflexes are this great, even with all of your shinobi abilities gone..."
Naruto: Old-Man-Sennin...
"Now then, let's see how great you really are, give me your best kid!!"
*The Sage's final lesson is about to begin!!*

2: My release plan, for those wondering, is as follows;
- Finish this sequel, TLSoK Returns (30 chapters in total).
- Finish the sequel that follows this one, TLSoK's Legacy (6 chapter-ed work).
- Finish the TLSoK Short Movie.
- Finish The Legendary Sage of Six Paths, which will be the FF about the Sage.
- Start out, or rather continue my original work, The Three Kingdoms (I wrote Chapter 1 two years ago, but have yet to do a release xD).
- At some point, manage to do a Western based collaboration FF with someone (at this point, Kuroi Honoo and Escorpiius are the candidates and the idea is shelved).
- And when this is all said and done (if ever, haha), I might do a FF about the following; The Legend of Zelda, Star Wars: The Old Republic and a Gangster/Modern time FF, but those are just some loose ideas I've had for some time... Regarding the FF about the Sage of Six Paths, I decided some time ago that I would try to do that one in Novel/Description style (like real books are written), so let's see how that goes.
3: Some months ago, when I changed my avatar, some people started asking me if each of the four images meant something, or if they were just random. I partly revealed what they meant, so here's a recap/full reveal;
- The first image of "Hokage Naruto" represent this FF series.
- The second of "The Sage of Six Paths" represents the FF I'll do about him (already said I had been planning that for awhile).
- The third image is the "Master Sword" from The Legend of Zelda Series, which make its official debut in the next chapter of TLSoK. It will play a minor role in TLSoK and TLSoSP (FF about the Sage), but, it still have other roles to fill beyond that! Though that's secret for now, haha
- The fourth is a picture of "Lu Bu from the Dynasty Warriors series," which is a game series based on the Historic Novel "The Romance of The Three Kingdoms and the adaption, Three Kingdoms," which is based on historic events during the fall of the Han Dynasty of China, which is what my original work, "Three Kingdoms," will draw inspiration from.
4: I'll be trying to wrap this sequel up in the next few week, so you might see more than one chapter a week from now on... Next target for release is this very Friday (or perhaps even sooner), so stay tuned!
5: I know this chapter, despite it's decent length, had some flashbacks to previous chapters... And the main reason for that was and is to set the mood for what this chapter had to offer, remind the readers of what have happened before and what Naruto is going through, and to use as a build up for what to come.
