Naruto: It's-... It can't be...
Kabuto: Oh, but it is! The very man himself, standing right before you! This is it Naruto-Kun, prepare yourself!
"Naruto... Uzumaki Naruto??... the name I once had... You must be-... So history has come to a full circle. It must have been a very long time since my passing. I take it that you are the next one in line..."
Naruto: Next one in line...??
Kabuto: Hmm... I must say, I'm not really surprised.
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: He really does look a lot like you... Or maybe I should say, you really look a lot like him with your Bijou Mode appearance, Naruto-Kun, *Smirk*... Maybe you're his reincarnation after all, just like Tobi said... But that won't matter, you're still going down...
"... This technique... It must be something that has been invented after my time... I've been summoned by you?..."
Turning around to face Kabuto, the Sage of Six Paths looked at him as he continued.
"You are??!... No... It can't be... The wizard can't still be alive..."
Kabuto: Wizard??
Naruto: I guess Tobi didn't tell you everything after all... The wizard was the one who bestow upon the Sage the Founding Book of Jutsu...
Kabuto: I see...
"What is your purpose summoning me??..."
Kabuto: *Smirk* Even as almighty as you once were... I have no intention, nor need to tell you... I am your master now, and you will obey!
Smashing his hands together, Kabuto let out a big moan as he focused all his attention on controlling the Sage...
Kabuto: ?!!
"??..."
Naruto: ??
Kabuto: You will obey me!!
As if nothing happened, the Sage and Naruto looked at Kabuto casually, expecting him to do something, but to Naruto and Kabuto's surprise, he wasn't able to control him.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): "What's happening?! He's blocking me out??! He's too strong??...."
Naruto: !! It's not working?? Yo old man! Come quickly!
Not seeing any reasons not to, the Sage slowly walked over to Naruto.
Naruto: This dreadful technique is the Edo Tensei... It summons and traps the soul of the dead into a body that has been sacrificed. The only way to stop it is to seal away the target, or by forcing the summoner to cancel the technique... Seeing as you're able to resist his control, are you able to... break free??
"The Edo Tensei... Hmm... You really must be my reincarnation of sorts, as you have the Jubi sealed within you... And the Bijou Mode as well..."
Naruto: Yeah, but no time to explain! I need to know certain things while you're still in control... And I need time to reload my sealing techniques... If you really are the Sage of Six Paths-...
"What are your intention in this world kid... in this life?? What do you want to achieve..."
Naruto: What??
"Tell me your resolve... It seems like the Curse of Hatred still exists in this world... The never-ending curse must be lifted... The unfulfilled task that I left behind, created by my very own hands and foolish idea. It must be stopped for true, ever-lasting peace to ever happen..."
Naruto: So you know the key to create peace??!
"No... You will have to break the curse..."
Naruto: But how??
"Look deep into your heart to find the answer you seek... If you truly are my successor, you'll find the key to peace eventually..."
Naruto: I...
"I can't give you the key, but I'll teach you something to guide you in your quest. I can sense your true resolve within your heart... Your will might even be stronger than mine."
Walking even closer up to Naruto, the Sage reached out his right arm as he placed his hand on Naruto's forehead.
Naruto: ?!... What just happened??
Kabuto: Ruarghhhhhh!
Just seconds later, the Sage retracted his hand as Kabuto roared intensely, finally managing to regain control over the Sage, as his eyes turned red.
Naruto: Old man Sennin??
Kabuto: You're mine!!
Naruto: Ugh?!
Before Naruto realized what happened, trying to call out to the Sage, he got attacked in the blink of an eye, as the Sage smashed his right fist right into Naruto's stomach, sending him crashing into the wall. As he stood up from the rubble, he looked up at him, realizing that he was under Kabuto's control again.
Kabuto: * Pant, Pant*... It seems like I'm not able to utilize his full powers... Looking into his memory, it seems like he cast some sort of spell upon himself at his death-bed, to avoid being revived to his prime. Oh well, he should still be strong enough to beat you in your current condition, Naruto-Kun!
Naruto: What you just did now Old-Man-Sennin... What did you mean??
Jubi: Hey kid! If you plan on surviving this battle, I better let you have my full powers for awhile longer... Seeing the Sage himself being revived has sparked my interest. Let's see if you're able to overcome this challenge, and if you do, I might start cooperating with you, who knows...
Naruto: Hehe...
Kabuto: *Smirk*
Naruto: ?! The walls??
Suddenly, the room started changing, as the walls and the roof began to bend and twist themselves all around him and in all directions, as if transforming into another dimension. The torches lighting up the place began to diminish, as it got darker and darker. Everything around him got covered in the color of greasy oil. Before Naruto realized what happened, he suddenly found himself standing on top of a great vast sea.
Naruto: What's going on?? Genjutus?? No...
The sky above him was clear blue and the sea was at complete still. Then, a strong wind began to blew as big grey clouds began to appear and the color of the sky turned into rainbow-like appearance, with green, black, red and purple being the main ones. Naruto looked around, scanning the area as Kabuto's voice was heard through the Sage standing in front of him.
SoSP (Static Voice): This is the Sage's Timeless-Space Transfer Jutsu... Meaning that everything that happens here, does not affect the time, nor the actions in the real world... It happens in matter of nanoseconds... It's similar to Tobi's dimensional transfer, or Itachi's Tsukuyomi in some way...
Naruto: ...
SoSP (Static Voice): Let the fun begin!
Smashing his hands together and into the surface of the sea, the Sage shouted out.
SoSP (Static Voice): Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning technique): Titans of the Underworld!
Naruto: !!
SoSP (Static Voice): Rise, Titans of the Sea!!
As he shouted, three foul creatures rose from the sea, as the sea began to shake heavily and big waves erupted all around Naruto, before lightning bolts struck to the ground from the sky. One giant octopus, one giant killer-whale and one so foul and ancient, it was hard to describe.
SoSP (Static Voice): Come, Titans of the Earth!!
As he said, three foul creatures stepped forward from the land nearby and onto the sea, one giant T-Rex, one giant elephant-rhino like creature, and one foul mountain troll.
SoSP (Static Voice): Deploy, Titans of the Sky!!
From the sky, two dragons appeared in the distant, one made of the same material as the Sun, the Sun Dragon, and the other made out of freezing ice, the Moon Dragon. And finally, the Sage jumped up into the air as he landed on top of the head of the six elements dragon, stationed on top of the six headed elemental dragon.
Naruto: This is bad... This is very bad...
Kurama: Naruto... Do not falter! Nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself!
The Nine Titans summoned by the Sage were of enormous size, bigger and more crazy than anything Naruto had ever seen before in his life.
Jubi: Time to test your real strength kid...
Looking up at the sky, Naruto realized that this was going to be the battle of a lifetime, as he uttered some words of being discontent, but he quickly followed up by showing his will to fight to the end, to protect everyone, and to bring on true peace.
Naruto: Huff... Not those dragons again... As if Sasuke and I didn't have enough trouble with them last time, and now I have even more foes to defeat?? I don't think summoning Boss Gamabunta and the rest will cut it this time, as they will look like ants in comparison. Okay, only one thing to do... Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning technique)!

Fun facts & Author's Note:
1: Okay, I know this was yet another short chapter, and I was a bit surprised myself when I looked through my notes and realized that it barely had any content to offer. I think I know the main reason though, and that is because of the fact that when I decided to go for 30 chapters, I had to thin content out for a few of them. In other words, I went with more- and quicker releases for the chapters, but with less content, and I could perhaps have cut it to 24 chapters and gone on with the same gigantic length as Chapter 7, 8 and 10 had to offer, for the remaining ones. However! The very next few ones now will be big for sure, a looot bigger than this, as the fighting starts for real next time.
2: As Kuroi hinted at in my previous chapter, I do take a lot of inspiration from other sources besides Naruto, like The Legend of Zelda. And basically, the whole idea of having the fight with the Sage in "another dimension" came from the final boss battle with Demise of the latest Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. So I basically pictured that dimension, only bigger and... well badder I suppose.
3: The fight between Naruto and the Sage will last until Chapter 23, and all of them will be quite big, so much to look forward to. I'm not sure when I'll release Chapter 18 yet, as I suspect it will be very big indeed, and it's going to take some time to complete. I estimate some time next week for release, so stay tuned!
4: For those who are really interested, here's the name of the next eight chapters (Spoiler Warning);
The rest of the chapter's names, as well as the 6 chapter-ed follow up sequel, has also been decided, but I'll keep them for myself for now. I still need to find a proper name for the Short Movie as well...
