The Legendary Sage of Konoha Returns, Chapter 12;
Crashing at full speed, a massive back and forth fighting occurred between Naruto, his six Sage Clones and the eight Edo Tensei.
Naruto: Shit!
In the heat of battle, two of his clones disappeared by the combined attack of Hashirama and Tobirama, as Minato snuck up behind and stabbed a kunai right towards Naruto's chest. Naruto barely managed to intercept it, as he grabbed a hold on to the kunai with his bare hands, just inches from his body.
Naruto: Argghhhh!
Punching the kunai out of Minato's grip, Naruto followed up with smashing a rainbow colored Rasengan, powered by the five elements, right into him, sending him flying as Jiraiya jumped in from Naruto's rear, meaning to throw a a powerful punch at him; powered by his Sage mode.
Naruto: !!
Not having time to react, Naruto thought he was hit dead on by the attack, but to his surprise, one of his clones jumped in and intercepted the attack.
Naruto Clone 1: Get your ass moving and do something already! You're suppose to be the original one here, time you showed it!
Naruto: Right!
Jumping backwards to gain some space, his clones quickly followed as Minato stood back up on his feet and got back in line with the rest of the Edo Tensei.
Kabuto: Damn, it's harder than I thought to control this many Edo Tensei at once indeed, especially when I'm not in full control of them like I will be with-...
Naruto: What do you mean?! With whom??
Kabuto: Let's just say I've sent a special Edo Tensei to take care of someone, *Smirk.*
Naruto: !! You bastard, did you have some more clones stashed up outside this cave?!
Kabuto: Kehehe, my oh my, does it really come to such a surprise for you?? Of course!! Did you really think I would let Akashi run of to you guys and reveal all of my secrets?? My clone should be there any moment now...
Naruto: ...
Kabuto: And when that happen, I might need to sit down in meditation position for awhile to take full control over that Edo's body... But don't worry, I'll still be here to control the Edo Tensei summons you are fighting, at least physically.
Naruto: !!
Kabuto: Don't look so mad, at least you'll have a moment to talk with your family again, *smirk.*
Naruto: You surely are confident in your own plans and abilities, aren't you Kabuto...
Kabuto: !!
Just as he said, Naruto and the four remaining Sage Clones had all summoned even more chakra as Naruto still was covered in his Bijou Mode, while his clones had turned Sage mode back on. As they did, all of them fired up an elemental infused Rasenshuriken each as they threw them at the Edo Tensei.
Naruto: Take this!
The five elemental shurikens flew straight at the Edo Tensei as Minato dodged it in the blink of an eye, Kushina and Jiraiya had no time to react at all, while the rest didn't even bother too try, getting pierced right through their waist, as the five shurikens smashed into the barrier behind them.
Kabuto: I thought I already told you it wasn't going to work...
Naruto: I'm not done yet!
The four Sage Clones then went into Bijou Mode as well as they slammed five different elemental infused Rasengan into each of their respectively opponents, tearing them to pieces.
Kabuto: Still not going to work.
As the attack ended, Naruto and the four clones then jumped backwards as they all stretched out their hands as ten small Rasenshuriken formed on their finger-tips.
Naruto: Rain of Rasenshuriken!
Throwing them at rapid speed, the 50 mini Rasenshuriken then expanded as they started shredding the remaining standing Edo Tensei to tiny pieces. In responds to this, Kabuto clutched his face as he began to laugh.
Kabuto: Hello, Edo Tensei?? Seriously, they do regenerate you know, dumb-ass...
Naruto: Oh I'm not doing this for fun...
Kabuto: Hey, why don't you try that fancy sealing technique you did before on the previous 30 coffins I summoned? The one were you touched the Edo Tensei's head, causing them to light up and their soul to be ripped out of the body... That should work, *smirk.*
Naruto: I'm buying for time... I can't just go around throwing that technique you know... But what I can do!
As the eight Edo Tensei slowly regenerated, Naruto and his clones pulled their hands forward and placed them in front of themselves, as they shaped a triangle with their thumbs and their index fingers. As they did, a massive force of chakra leaked out, taking the shape of the Jubi as they all fired off massive Bijou bombs.
Kabuto: Oh, that can't be good...
Smashing right into the barrier and causing a large explosion, rocks flew everywhere and a dense smokescreen was cast across the battlefield. As it slowly settled, the eight Edo Tensei had finally regenerated as a small crack was seen on the barrier behind them. Kabuto moved up to it as he placed his right hand on the barrier, sealing the crack up in the progress.
Kabuto: You're getting closer, but it's still not going to cut it... I thought I already told you to either put something stronger up for show, or start using Fūinjutsu (sealing technique)... the only advantage you have now is that the Edo Tensei requires some time regenerating when you go to such extreme pulverising them...
Naruto: *Smirk*
Kabuto: Keheheh, and what are you smiling for if I may ask? You think you're starting to get the upper-hand or something? Hah, don't make me laugh.
Naruto: It's not that, it's just the fact that you are hiding behind that barrier like a scared cat, and all you ever do is spamming Edo Tensei. You know, if you're ever going to get acknowledge like you want to, if you ever are going to get my acknowledgement, you better start fighting with your own fists soon, idiot!
Kabuto: Humph, like I would fall for your taunt like that... Now it's my turn!
As the eight Edo Tensei finally moved again, Naruto and his clones rushed out to meet them as a fierce fight broke out, with over-powered techniques and moves flying everywhere. After about half an hour or so of pure fighting, Naruto finally began to see the extent of his ability as he fired up on of his latest moves.
Naruto: Bijou Bomb Rasengan!
As the smoke from the attack cleared, Jiraiya slowly regenerated again after taking a direct hit, and as Naruto began to start breathing heavier, it seemed like Kabuto had stopped bothering to dodge any of Naruto's attack.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Kabuto: What's the matter?? Getting tired, *smirk* I'll say it again, and this time, let me make it clear for you... Fūinjutsu! That's the only way you're going to beat me now.
Jiraiya: Sage art; Rasengan!
Not reacting fast enough, Naruto was just about to take a direct hit as one of his clones jumped in, taking the blow instead, as he disappeared in the progress. Naruto jumped back to gain some space as Kabuto began laughing maniacally. Naruto let out a deep sigh, as he ventured inside of himself to have a talk with the Jubi...
Naruto (In thoughts): Okay, this is clearly not working out, any chance you would care to help soon??
Jubi: Help you? Hah, don't make me laugh! You'll have to earn my respect first before I'll start helping you out. Just be glad that I'm lending you my chakra in the first place...
Naruto (In thoughts): Then what should I do??
Jubi: You little school-girl, grow some balls already! You were able to do this on your own before, show me how!
Naruto (In thoughts): I had Kurama before! If you won't cooperate with me, then at least let me talk to him. You said it yourself earlier, they still exist within you. If that is true, let me talk to someone who actually bothers to help! Kurama and I-... We're a perfect tea-...
Jubi: You should have thought about that before you sealed me away in you kid! Even though the nine tailed beasts co-exist inside me, I am the actual being here, I'm the one you will have to deal with from now on. Now stop crying and start acting like a man!
Naruto (In thoughts): Then tell me what to do!!
Jubi: You heard him yourself, the only way to get passed this challenge is for you to use Fūinjutsu again...
Naruto (In thoughts): But I can't...
Jubi: Why not??
Naruto (In thoughts): The perfect Reaper Death Seal needs reload time. After I used it to seal you, I have to let it reload first.
Jubi: How long?
Naruto (In thoughts): Twelve hours...
Jubi: It's been eleven or so hours since that time now, hasn't it?
Naruto (In thoughts): Yeah...
Jubi: And what about that other sealing technique you used, the one of the Rinnegan?
Naruto (In thoughts): You're asking me about that?! You're the one who gave me those powers to begin with! You're the one who should tell me, idiot!
Jubi: You dare call me an idiot!
Stretching his arm out of his prison cell, snaring after Naruto with his claws, the Jubi finally calmed down as he continued.
Jubi: Combining the Human Path to pull out the soul of the opponent, with the Naraka Path to summon the King of Hell and seal the soul of the target. In theory, it shouldn't need reload time, but you've already sealed away 30 other Edo Tensei from the previous clash... The King of Hell needs time to devour the souls of the opponents...
Naruto (In thoughts): How much time??
Jubi: Let's just say that the Reaper Death Seal should be the safe bet right now...
Naruto (In thoughts): Then that means I still need to stall for an hour or so, or find another way...
Kurama: You can do it Naruto, we all believe in you.
Naruto (In thoughts): Kurama!! What was that, that was you, wasn't it?!
Jubi: What was what?
Naruto (In thoughts): That just now, that was the voice of Kurama!
Jubi: I heard nothing...
Gyūki: Yeah we do, now show them who's boss! And say hey to Bee for me when you get the chance, Naruto!
Naruto (In thoughts): Hey, there it was again! That just now, it's not just me, they're talking through you!
Jubi: Oh, I must have slipped-... Hey stop squeezing me... out-...
Kurama: Naruto, don't listen to this foul, he's just a grumpy old fellow, I should be in charge of this body! I heard what you said earlier and I agree! If we work together like in the past, we'll overcome this challenge for sure!
Naruto (In thoughts): Kurama! Aha, it really is you!
Kurama: Of course it's me! Why, don't you recognize me, your old pal?
Naruto (In thoughts): Of course I do! Glad to have you back on board, I thought I would never get the chance to talk to you again.
Kurama: Hah, I couldn't let you down, now coul-
Gyūki: Hey, hey, hey! Don't take up-...
Shukaku: You two talk too much, let me have some tim-...
Matatabi: My tur-...
Isobu: No you don't-...
Saiken: My, oh my, you guys are just dying for some stage time huh?
Kokuo: This is bullshit, I can't live like this! Let me out of-...
Chomei: ... This is-...
Son Goku: So we finally meet again kid, this ought to be inter-...
Jubi: Enough! Stop pushing me out, I'm the main being he-...
Kurama: Oh shut up, no one liked you in the first place!
Gyūki: Hah, you're right about that!
Kurama: Oh, we're able to talk simultaneously now? Nice!
Gyūki: Hah, we do! High five! Hey wait a minute...
Naruto (In thoughts): You guys, no need to...
While the beasts began to battle amongst themselves for the chance to speak, Naruto ventured back to reality.
Naruto: Geez... Where was I? Oh, that's right!
Kabuto: ??
Naruto: Kicking your ass!
Kabuto: Sigh, do you never learn? For the last time, you need to use-...
Naruto: Fūinjutsu, yeah I know...
Kabuto: And here I thought you had finally learned something, got more matured and wise. You're the Hokage now after all, but it still seems like you're all about brute strength these days...
Naruto: Oh I assure you, I do have a plan of my own, just you wait.
Kabuto: *Yawn* this is getting tiring... You're not able to seal away my Edo Tensei, and I'm not able to beat you down with them either. And I still need a lot of time for the revival ritual of the Sage of Six Path to come to completion... I might as well take a tee break while I wait or something.
Naruto: Fool!... Heh, don't make me laugh. You've just realized that your plan has no chance at working, haven't you??
Kabuto: You know what, let's spice things up a bit!
Getting down and seating himself in meditating position, Kabuto then intertwined his hands and feet together as he went on.
Kabuto: My mind is needed elsewhere... *Smirk* It seems like Kakashi's fight is just about to begin.
Naruto: Kakashi?...
Kabuto: So like I promised you, I'll let you have the chance to talk to your loved ones meanwhile! But don't try anything, I'll only let them have some conscious, and only for a short while. I can't give them full control now can I? Kehehe, something dangerous might happen then you know, *smirk.* So knock yourself out!
Naruto: !!
As Kabuto slowly closed his eyes, his mind slipped away, as if transferring to one of the other Edo Tensei bodies. The eight Edo Tensei, standing in front of Naruto with their backs towards him, then suddenly froze for a bit, as the red-ish color of their eyes disappeared. Before Naruto managed to think through the things Kabuto said properly, he suddenly heard some familiar voices.
Hashirama: This dreadful technique again...
Tobirama: Again?! I can't believe it, looks like it really was a dumb move to create this technique...
Hiruzen: Sigh... At least it's not Orochimaru this time...
Orochimaru: Kabuto... How dare he.
Madara: Hashirama?! If you're here, then that means?!
Hashirama and Tobirama (In unison): Madara's here?!
Hiruzen: !!
Tobirama: Then we must deal with him brother!
Madara: You can try...
Tobirama: Let's go brot-... Hey wait, why is my movement restricted, what's that on the ground?!
Hashirama: Hmm... it's...
Looking at the ground below them, Tobirama quickly discovered their bodies were limited to the space in which circles were drawn around their feet, being about two meters in diameter.
Tobirama: Damn, it can't be... Now who the hell is in charge of this technique?! It surely can't be the one seated over there... he's... What is he doing anyways, hello?! And why on earth have you summoned us?! And why with Madara too! Do you realize-...
Orochimaru: Like I said, that scum is Kabuto... He was my apprentice before... and his mind is currently... not in his body. He must have moved his mind to control one of his other Edo Tensei summons...
Hiruzen: Kabuto you say... But why and what for??
Jiraiya: I'm here too... there must be a reason to why he has summoned us all, eh, Minato and Kushina?
Kushina: I...
Minato: Hmm...
Tobirama: This guy again...
Hashirama: Oh, yeah you were the fourth Hokage, weren't you?
Minato: That's right...
Hashirama: And who is this?
Hiruzen: This is Jiraiya, he was in a three man squad with Tsunade and Orochimaru. They were my apprentices, and Jiraiya was Minato's Sensei.
Tobirama: So he was your student Hiruzen?
Hashirama: Wait, let me figure this out... Hiruzen became the third Hokage, trained the Sensei of the fourth, who also happened to be team member of the fifth Hokage and my granddaughter, Tsunade? Interesting...
Tobirama: And that girl?...
Kushina: I'm Kushina, the wife of Minato and the mother of...
Hashirama: The mother of whom?
Kushina: I don't think you know who he is...
Madara: Enough with this... Can someone cast a genjutsu or something on him to force this user to undo this technique??
Tobirama: Why, so you can get lose and go on a rampage again?! You know I will just do the same and stop you this time.
Hashirama: Tobirama!
Madara: What do you mean?
Tobirama: Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about, you let yourself loose in this war before and did some massive damage, didn't you?!
Madara: ... You little brat, watch your tongue...
Hashirama: Speaking of war, is this the same one?
Minato: Who knows... Only the guy in front of us have the answer to that and why he's summoned us...
Hiruzen: But he's not here is he? What on earth is Kabuto planning... Orochimaru, if you're here, then that mean something must has happened. Time must have passed since last time you summoned us? And since you're here, then something must have happened to you too...
Orochimaru: ...
Jiraiya: And you know Kabuto the best of all of us, if anyone would know what he's up to, it would be-...
Orochimaru: Sigh... Since you ask so persistently, and since Kabuto hasn't even bothered to be here himself, I might as well.
Madara: ... Yeah, what happened after that little Kyuubi-brat beat back the Jubi and forced Tobi to retreat? I was sealed away shortly after th-....
Tobirama: *Kremt* I believe this Orochimaru was trying to say something...
Madara: Heh...
Orochimaru: ...
Hashirama: Now?
Orochimaru: After the end of the war, and after Sasuke battled Naruto at the Valley of the end-...
Minato/Kushina/Jiraiya (In unison): Naruto?!
Hashirama/Tobirama/Hiruzen (In unison): Sasuke...
Hashirama: So it came to that eventually then, even when I tried to reason with him...
Tobirama: I already told you then, that it was a waste of time brother... The Uchiha can't be trusted. If we only could have fought Madara instead.
Madara: I told you to watch your tongue...
Hiruzen: At least the village wasn't destroyed...
Jiraiya: So what happened to Tsunade anyways I wonder...
Madara: I don't know... Last time I saw her, she was half dead, together with the rest of the Kages.
Hashirama: What?!
Tobirama: I told you we had to stop him earlier! Now you see what happe-...
Orochimaru: She survived... So did the other Kages.
Hiruzen: She did?
Minato: So what happened after that? Did Naruto??
Tobirama: Who's this Naruto kid??
Madara: He's the one who stopped the previous war...
Orochimaru: He's the 6th Hokage...
The Edo Tensei (In Unison): What?!
Hashirama: The 6th?! Does that mean??
Tobirama: There's a 6th one as well?! Damn, we're getting old...
Hiruzen: So did Tsunade...
Orochimaru: No, like I said, she lived... However, after the war temporary stopped for a couple of years, Tsunade stepped down...
Hashirama: So she's still alive then??
Orochimaru: To the best of my knowledge, yes...
Minato: So Naruto became the 6th Hokage?! Really?!
Kushina: I'm so glad!
Jiraiya: Hehe, I knew he would do it eventually, *smirk.*
Tobirama: Who is he to you?
Minato: He's our son...
Jiraiya: And he was my student for a while.
Hashirama: The son of the 4th is the 6th?! Whoa, this is getting interesting!
Jiraiya: It seems like I've missed out on a lot of action... So Orochimaru, you really did survive that time with Sasuke... Which means that you lived longer than I did.
Orochimaru: ...
Hiruzen: So the last time Orochimaru summoned the four of us, that was after your time Jiraiya??
Jiraiya: Yeah must have been...
Madara: We should let Orochimaru tell us what happened after I got sealed, the Jubi got beaten back and Tobi retreated. I must say that I'm actually curious to hear what happened to Tobi...
Meanwhile while the eight Edo Tensei were discussing the latest events among themselves, Naruto, who was standing some couple of yards behind them, hadn't managed to utter a single word, nor let them be aware of his presence, as Orochimaru went on.
Orochimaru: I can't bother to go into all the details, but some years afterwards, Kabuto finally bested me in battle. The four of you got sealed up by the Reaper Death Seal again.
Hiruzen: But how?! Nobody else know about that technique beside me and Minato?!
Orochimaru: What happened later on, I'm not fully sure, but I do expect that the war broke out again, with Tobi and Kabuto taking the lead of it...
Hashirama: Hmmm...
Tobirama: What is it brother, you've stayed quiet for awhile...
Hashirama: You see that corpse on that table beside this Kabuto fellow?
Tobirama: Yeah??
Hashirama: I wonder who that can be, and what this guy is planning...
Orochimaru: This place... I think I've been here before...
Madara: This place is the Cave of Ordeals I believe... !! It can't be...
Hiruzen: The Cave of Ordeals?! Kabuto can't be planning on doing what I think he is??
Hashirama: The Cave of Ordeals... The final resting place of the Sage of Six Paths himself?! That can't be... there's no way he's planning to resurre-...
Naruto: He is...
The Edo Tensei (In Unison): ?!
Tobirama: There's someone behind us?! I can't believe I haven't noticed before!
Jiraiya: That voice!!
As the eight Edo Tensei all turned around, they noticed Naruto standing behind them.
Hashirama: How long have you been standing there kid?!
Naruto: I...
Tobirama: And who is this kid, what is your name?! And are you a Konoha Shinobi?? Is the Joint Shinobi Alliance still standing together?! Or maybe you've split up and there's been a new war... And when is this time anyways?? Is it-...
Hashirama: One question at a time brother... Now let him speak.
Madara: It can't be! You're the Kyuubi-brat who opposed Tobi and I previously?!
Orochimaru: That's...
Hiruzen/Jiraiya/Minato/Kushina: Naruto?!
Hashirama: Naruto?? Like, the 6th Hokage Naruto??
Minato: It's really you...
Kushina: My son, I can't believe it...
Naruto: Mom, dad?? Jiraiya?!
Jiraiya: If you're here then that must mean...
* Naruto's battle continues towards new heights as Kabuto decides to slow things down a bit. What will Naruto tell the previous Hokages, his father, mother and his old Sensei? And what about Orochimaru and Madara? Kakashi and Akashi vs Konoha's White Fang, Next Time! *

Author's Note & Fun Facts:
1: The name of this chapter is a reference to a good friend of mine and his very first FF. I really had no clue what to name this one, but thinking back on the past, and being that he was one of my two main inspiration to start out writing FFs in the first place, I decided to make tribute to him and name this chapter the same as his FF. Yep, I'm of course referring to you, Kuroi Honoo
2: This is actually the first chapter I ever release away from home (on a crappy and slow-ass laptop, to be noted), which I find to be a step forward, I suppose xD
3: I've laid out a work-plan regarding this series, and as of now, I'm set at finishing this series by the end of August, and have released the complete work by the end of September. I'm about 50 % sure that I'll be able to go through with that plan.
4: I'm not sure when I'll release Chapter 13 as of yet... I've finally started working on Chapter 17 after having a short break, but regardless of how far I get with it in the next few days, I do believe I'll have to have a small break until the next release. The reason being that my class and I are going on a 12 or so days' trip next week, and as you may figure out, I won't be able to release anything before I return. But fear not, once I return and release the next chapter, I'll make sure to release Chapter 14, 15 and 16 within two weeks time! In other words, Chapter 13 won't be released for at least three weeks' time.
5: Due to the next release being postponed for awhile, I thought I would share some "none-spoilerish" details on what to come - Chapter 13 is about Kakashi, Akashi and Sakumo, Chapter 14 is about the conclusion of that fight, as well as the Kages vs the headquarter stationed shinobi, Chapter 15 and 16 is the conclusion of Naruto's fight against the Konoha Edo Tensei, and Chapter 17... Well, I'll keep that secret for just a while longer

Kabuto: And when that happen, I might need to sit down in meditation position for awhile to take full control over that Edo's body... But don't worry, I'll still be here to control the Edo Tensei summons you are fighting, at least physically.
Naruto: !!
Kabuto: Don't look so mad, at least you'll have a moment to talk with your family again, *smirk.*
Naruto: You surely are confident in your own plans and abilities, aren't you Kabuto...
Kabuto: !!
Just as he said, Naruto and the four remaining Sage Clones had all summoned even more chakra as Naruto still was covered in his Bijou Mode, while his clones had turned Sage mode back on. As they did, all of them fired up an elemental infused Rasenshuriken each as they threw them at the Edo Tensei.
Naruto: Take this!
The five elemental shurikens flew straight at the Edo Tensei as Minato dodged it in the blink of an eye, Kushina and Jiraiya had no time to react at all, while the rest didn't even bother too try, getting pierced right through their waist, as the five shurikens smashed into the barrier behind them.
Kabuto: I thought I already told you it wasn't going to work...
Naruto: I'm not done yet!
The four Sage Clones then went into Bijou Mode as well as they slammed five different elemental infused Rasengan into each of their respectively opponents, tearing them to pieces.
Kabuto: Still not going to work.
As the attack ended, Naruto and the four clones then jumped backwards as they all stretched out their hands as ten small Rasenshuriken formed on their finger-tips.
Naruto: Rain of Rasenshuriken!
Throwing them at rapid speed, the 50 mini Rasenshuriken then expanded as they started shredding the remaining standing Edo Tensei to tiny pieces. In responds to this, Kabuto clutched his face as he began to laugh.
Kabuto: Hello, Edo Tensei?? Seriously, they do regenerate you know, dumb-ass...
Naruto: Oh I'm not doing this for fun...
Kabuto: Hey, why don't you try that fancy sealing technique you did before on the previous 30 coffins I summoned? The one were you touched the Edo Tensei's head, causing them to light up and their soul to be ripped out of the body... That should work, *smirk.*
Naruto: I'm buying for time... I can't just go around throwing that technique you know... But what I can do!
As the eight Edo Tensei slowly regenerated, Naruto and his clones pulled their hands forward and placed them in front of themselves, as they shaped a triangle with their thumbs and their index fingers. As they did, a massive force of chakra leaked out, taking the shape of the Jubi as they all fired off massive Bijou bombs.
Kabuto: Oh, that can't be good...
Smashing right into the barrier and causing a large explosion, rocks flew everywhere and a dense smokescreen was cast across the battlefield. As it slowly settled, the eight Edo Tensei had finally regenerated as a small crack was seen on the barrier behind them. Kabuto moved up to it as he placed his right hand on the barrier, sealing the crack up in the progress.
Kabuto: You're getting closer, but it's still not going to cut it... I thought I already told you to either put something stronger up for show, or start using Fūinjutsu (sealing technique)... the only advantage you have now is that the Edo Tensei requires some time regenerating when you go to such extreme pulverising them...
Naruto: *Smirk*
Kabuto: Keheheh, and what are you smiling for if I may ask? You think you're starting to get the upper-hand or something? Hah, don't make me laugh.
Naruto: It's not that, it's just the fact that you are hiding behind that barrier like a scared cat, and all you ever do is spamming Edo Tensei. You know, if you're ever going to get acknowledge like you want to, if you ever are going to get my acknowledgement, you better start fighting with your own fists soon, idiot!
Kabuto: Humph, like I would fall for your taunt like that... Now it's my turn!
As the eight Edo Tensei finally moved again, Naruto and his clones rushed out to meet them as a fierce fight broke out, with over-powered techniques and moves flying everywhere. After about half an hour or so of pure fighting, Naruto finally began to see the extent of his ability as he fired up on of his latest moves.
Naruto: Bijou Bomb Rasengan!
As the smoke from the attack cleared, Jiraiya slowly regenerated again after taking a direct hit, and as Naruto began to start breathing heavier, it seemed like Kabuto had stopped bothering to dodge any of Naruto's attack.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Kabuto: What's the matter?? Getting tired, *smirk* I'll say it again, and this time, let me make it clear for you... Fūinjutsu! That's the only way you're going to beat me now.
Jiraiya: Sage art; Rasengan!
Not reacting fast enough, Naruto was just about to take a direct hit as one of his clones jumped in, taking the blow instead, as he disappeared in the progress. Naruto jumped back to gain some space as Kabuto began laughing maniacally. Naruto let out a deep sigh, as he ventured inside of himself to have a talk with the Jubi...
Naruto (In thoughts): Okay, this is clearly not working out, any chance you would care to help soon??
Jubi: Help you? Hah, don't make me laugh! You'll have to earn my respect first before I'll start helping you out. Just be glad that I'm lending you my chakra in the first place...
Naruto (In thoughts): Then what should I do??
Jubi: You little school-girl, grow some balls already! You were able to do this on your own before, show me how!
Naruto (In thoughts): I had Kurama before! If you won't cooperate with me, then at least let me talk to him. You said it yourself earlier, they still exist within you. If that is true, let me talk to someone who actually bothers to help! Kurama and I-... We're a perfect tea-...
Jubi: You should have thought about that before you sealed me away in you kid! Even though the nine tailed beasts co-exist inside me, I am the actual being here, I'm the one you will have to deal with from now on. Now stop crying and start acting like a man!
Naruto (In thoughts): Then tell me what to do!!
Jubi: You heard him yourself, the only way to get passed this challenge is for you to use Fūinjutsu again...
Naruto (In thoughts): But I can't...
Jubi: Why not??
Naruto (In thoughts): The perfect Reaper Death Seal needs reload time. After I used it to seal you, I have to let it reload first.
Jubi: How long?
Naruto (In thoughts): Twelve hours...
Jubi: It's been eleven or so hours since that time now, hasn't it?
Naruto (In thoughts): Yeah...
Jubi: And what about that other sealing technique you used, the one of the Rinnegan?
Naruto (In thoughts): You're asking me about that?! You're the one who gave me those powers to begin with! You're the one who should tell me, idiot!
Jubi: You dare call me an idiot!
Stretching his arm out of his prison cell, snaring after Naruto with his claws, the Jubi finally calmed down as he continued.
Jubi: Combining the Human Path to pull out the soul of the opponent, with the Naraka Path to summon the King of Hell and seal the soul of the target. In theory, it shouldn't need reload time, but you've already sealed away 30 other Edo Tensei from the previous clash... The King of Hell needs time to devour the souls of the opponents...
Naruto (In thoughts): How much time??
Jubi: Let's just say that the Reaper Death Seal should be the safe bet right now...
Naruto (In thoughts): Then that means I still need to stall for an hour or so, or find another way...
Kurama: You can do it Naruto, we all believe in you.
Naruto (In thoughts): Kurama!! What was that, that was you, wasn't it?!
Jubi: What was what?
Naruto (In thoughts): That just now, that was the voice of Kurama!
Jubi: I heard nothing...
Gyūki: Yeah we do, now show them who's boss! And say hey to Bee for me when you get the chance, Naruto!
Naruto (In thoughts): Hey, there it was again! That just now, it's not just me, they're talking through you!
Jubi: Oh, I must have slipped-... Hey stop squeezing me... out-...
Kurama: Naruto, don't listen to this foul, he's just a grumpy old fellow, I should be in charge of this body! I heard what you said earlier and I agree! If we work together like in the past, we'll overcome this challenge for sure!
Naruto (In thoughts): Kurama! Aha, it really is you!
Kurama: Of course it's me! Why, don't you recognize me, your old pal?
Naruto (In thoughts): Of course I do! Glad to have you back on board, I thought I would never get the chance to talk to you again.

Shukaku: You two talk too much, let me have some tim-...
Matatabi: My tur-...

Saiken: My, oh my, you guys are just dying for some stage time huh?
Kokuo: This is bullshit, I can't live like this! Let me out of-...

Son Goku: So we finally meet again kid, this ought to be inter-...
Jubi: Enough! Stop pushing me out, I'm the main being he-...
Kurama: Oh shut up, no one liked you in the first place!
Gyūki: Hah, you're right about that!
Kurama: Oh, we're able to talk simultaneously now? Nice!
Gyūki: Hah, we do! High five! Hey wait a minute...
Naruto (In thoughts): You guys, no need to...
While the beasts began to battle amongst themselves for the chance to speak, Naruto ventured back to reality.
Naruto: Geez... Where was I? Oh, that's right!
Kabuto: ??
Naruto: Kicking your ass!
Kabuto: Sigh, do you never learn? For the last time, you need to use-...
Naruto: Fūinjutsu, yeah I know...
Kabuto: And here I thought you had finally learned something, got more matured and wise. You're the Hokage now after all, but it still seems like you're all about brute strength these days...
Naruto: Oh I assure you, I do have a plan of my own, just you wait.
Kabuto: *Yawn* this is getting tiring... You're not able to seal away my Edo Tensei, and I'm not able to beat you down with them either. And I still need a lot of time for the revival ritual of the Sage of Six Path to come to completion... I might as well take a tee break while I wait or something.
Naruto: Fool!... Heh, don't make me laugh. You've just realized that your plan has no chance at working, haven't you??
Kabuto: You know what, let's spice things up a bit!
Getting down and seating himself in meditating position, Kabuto then intertwined his hands and feet together as he went on.
Kabuto: My mind is needed elsewhere... *Smirk* It seems like Kakashi's fight is just about to begin.
Naruto: Kakashi?...
Kabuto: So like I promised you, I'll let you have the chance to talk to your loved ones meanwhile! But don't try anything, I'll only let them have some conscious, and only for a short while. I can't give them full control now can I? Kehehe, something dangerous might happen then you know, *smirk.* So knock yourself out!
Naruto: !!
As Kabuto slowly closed his eyes, his mind slipped away, as if transferring to one of the other Edo Tensei bodies. The eight Edo Tensei, standing in front of Naruto with their backs towards him, then suddenly froze for a bit, as the red-ish color of their eyes disappeared. Before Naruto managed to think through the things Kabuto said properly, he suddenly heard some familiar voices.
Hashirama: This dreadful technique again...
Tobirama: Again?! I can't believe it, looks like it really was a dumb move to create this technique...
Hiruzen: Sigh... At least it's not Orochimaru this time...
Orochimaru: Kabuto... How dare he.
Madara: Hashirama?! If you're here, then that means?!
Hashirama and Tobirama (In unison): Madara's here?!
Hiruzen: !!
Tobirama: Then we must deal with him brother!
Madara: You can try...
Tobirama: Let's go brot-... Hey wait, why is my movement restricted, what's that on the ground?!
Hashirama: Hmm... it's...
Looking at the ground below them, Tobirama quickly discovered their bodies were limited to the space in which circles were drawn around their feet, being about two meters in diameter.
Tobirama: Damn, it can't be... Now who the hell is in charge of this technique?! It surely can't be the one seated over there... he's... What is he doing anyways, hello?! And why on earth have you summoned us?! And why with Madara too! Do you realize-...
Orochimaru: Like I said, that scum is Kabuto... He was my apprentice before... and his mind is currently... not in his body. He must have moved his mind to control one of his other Edo Tensei summons...
Hiruzen: Kabuto you say... But why and what for??
Jiraiya: I'm here too... there must be a reason to why he has summoned us all, eh, Minato and Kushina?
Kushina: I...
Minato: Hmm...
Tobirama: This guy again...
Hashirama: Oh, yeah you were the fourth Hokage, weren't you?
Minato: That's right...
Hashirama: And who is this?
Hiruzen: This is Jiraiya, he was in a three man squad with Tsunade and Orochimaru. They were my apprentices, and Jiraiya was Minato's Sensei.
Tobirama: So he was your student Hiruzen?
Hashirama: Wait, let me figure this out... Hiruzen became the third Hokage, trained the Sensei of the fourth, who also happened to be team member of the fifth Hokage and my granddaughter, Tsunade? Interesting...
Tobirama: And that girl?...
Kushina: I'm Kushina, the wife of Minato and the mother of...
Hashirama: The mother of whom?
Kushina: I don't think you know who he is...
Madara: Enough with this... Can someone cast a genjutsu or something on him to force this user to undo this technique??
Tobirama: Why, so you can get lose and go on a rampage again?! You know I will just do the same and stop you this time.
Hashirama: Tobirama!
Madara: What do you mean?
Tobirama: Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about, you let yourself loose in this war before and did some massive damage, didn't you?!
Madara: ... You little brat, watch your tongue...
Hashirama: Speaking of war, is this the same one?
Minato: Who knows... Only the guy in front of us have the answer to that and why he's summoned us...
Hiruzen: But he's not here is he? What on earth is Kabuto planning... Orochimaru, if you're here, then that mean something must has happened. Time must have passed since last time you summoned us? And since you're here, then something must have happened to you too...
Orochimaru: ...
Jiraiya: And you know Kabuto the best of all of us, if anyone would know what he's up to, it would be-...
Orochimaru: Sigh... Since you ask so persistently, and since Kabuto hasn't even bothered to be here himself, I might as well.
Madara: ... Yeah, what happened after that little Kyuubi-brat beat back the Jubi and forced Tobi to retreat? I was sealed away shortly after th-....
Tobirama: *Kremt* I believe this Orochimaru was trying to say something...
Madara: Heh...
Orochimaru: ...
Hashirama: Now?
Orochimaru: After the end of the war, and after Sasuke battled Naruto at the Valley of the end-...
Minato/Kushina/Jiraiya (In unison): Naruto?!
Hashirama/Tobirama/Hiruzen (In unison): Sasuke...
Hashirama: So it came to that eventually then, even when I tried to reason with him...
Tobirama: I already told you then, that it was a waste of time brother... The Uchiha can't be trusted. If we only could have fought Madara instead.
Madara: I told you to watch your tongue...
Hiruzen: At least the village wasn't destroyed...
Jiraiya: So what happened to Tsunade anyways I wonder...
Madara: I don't know... Last time I saw her, she was half dead, together with the rest of the Kages.
Hashirama: What?!
Tobirama: I told you we had to stop him earlier! Now you see what happe-...
Orochimaru: She survived... So did the other Kages.
Hiruzen: She did?
Minato: So what happened after that? Did Naruto??
Tobirama: Who's this Naruto kid??
Madara: He's the one who stopped the previous war...
Orochimaru: He's the 6th Hokage...
The Edo Tensei (In Unison): What?!
Hashirama: The 6th?! Does that mean??
Tobirama: There's a 6th one as well?! Damn, we're getting old...
Hiruzen: So did Tsunade...
Orochimaru: No, like I said, she lived... However, after the war temporary stopped for a couple of years, Tsunade stepped down...
Hashirama: So she's still alive then??
Orochimaru: To the best of my knowledge, yes...
Minato: So Naruto became the 6th Hokage?! Really?!
Kushina: I'm so glad!
Jiraiya: Hehe, I knew he would do it eventually, *smirk.*
Tobirama: Who is he to you?
Minato: He's our son...
Jiraiya: And he was my student for a while.
Hashirama: The son of the 4th is the 6th?! Whoa, this is getting interesting!
Jiraiya: It seems like I've missed out on a lot of action... So Orochimaru, you really did survive that time with Sasuke... Which means that you lived longer than I did.
Orochimaru: ...
Hiruzen: So the last time Orochimaru summoned the four of us, that was after your time Jiraiya??
Jiraiya: Yeah must have been...
Madara: We should let Orochimaru tell us what happened after I got sealed, the Jubi got beaten back and Tobi retreated. I must say that I'm actually curious to hear what happened to Tobi...
Meanwhile while the eight Edo Tensei were discussing the latest events among themselves, Naruto, who was standing some couple of yards behind them, hadn't managed to utter a single word, nor let them be aware of his presence, as Orochimaru went on.
Orochimaru: I can't bother to go into all the details, but some years afterwards, Kabuto finally bested me in battle. The four of you got sealed up by the Reaper Death Seal again.
Hiruzen: But how?! Nobody else know about that technique beside me and Minato?!
Orochimaru: What happened later on, I'm not fully sure, but I do expect that the war broke out again, with Tobi and Kabuto taking the lead of it...
Hashirama: Hmmm...
Tobirama: What is it brother, you've stayed quiet for awhile...
Hashirama: You see that corpse on that table beside this Kabuto fellow?
Tobirama: Yeah??
Hashirama: I wonder who that can be, and what this guy is planning...
Orochimaru: This place... I think I've been here before...
Madara: This place is the Cave of Ordeals I believe... !! It can't be...
Hiruzen: The Cave of Ordeals?! Kabuto can't be planning on doing what I think he is??
Hashirama: The Cave of Ordeals... The final resting place of the Sage of Six Paths himself?! That can't be... there's no way he's planning to resurre-...
Naruto: He is...
The Edo Tensei (In Unison): ?!
Tobirama: There's someone behind us?! I can't believe I haven't noticed before!
Jiraiya: That voice!!
As the eight Edo Tensei all turned around, they noticed Naruto standing behind them.
Hashirama: How long have you been standing there kid?!
Naruto: I...
Tobirama: And who is this kid, what is your name?! And are you a Konoha Shinobi?? Is the Joint Shinobi Alliance still standing together?! Or maybe you've split up and there's been a new war... And when is this time anyways?? Is it-...
Hashirama: One question at a time brother... Now let him speak.
Madara: It can't be! You're the Kyuubi-brat who opposed Tobi and I previously?!
Orochimaru: That's...
Hiruzen/Jiraiya/Minato/Kushina: Naruto?!
Hashirama: Naruto?? Like, the 6th Hokage Naruto??
Minato: It's really you...
Kushina: My son, I can't believe it...
Naruto: Mom, dad?? Jiraiya?!
Jiraiya: If you're here then that must mean...
*Kabuto gives the Edo Tensei their Conscious back!!*

Author's Note & Fun Facts:
1: The name of this chapter is a reference to a good friend of mine and his very first FF. I really had no clue what to name this one, but thinking back on the past, and being that he was one of my two main inspiration to start out writing FFs in the first place, I decided to make tribute to him and name this chapter the same as his FF. Yep, I'm of course referring to you, Kuroi Honoo
2: This is actually the first chapter I ever release away from home (on a crappy and slow-ass laptop, to be noted), which I find to be a step forward, I suppose xD
3: I've laid out a work-plan regarding this series, and as of now, I'm set at finishing this series by the end of August, and have released the complete work by the end of September. I'm about 50 % sure that I'll be able to go through with that plan.
4: I'm not sure when I'll release Chapter 13 as of yet... I've finally started working on Chapter 17 after having a short break, but regardless of how far I get with it in the next few days, I do believe I'll have to have a small break until the next release. The reason being that my class and I are going on a 12 or so days' trip next week, and as you may figure out, I won't be able to release anything before I return. But fear not, once I return and release the next chapter, I'll make sure to release Chapter 14, 15 and 16 within two weeks time! In other words, Chapter 13 won't be released for at least three weeks' time.
5: Due to the next release being postponed for awhile, I thought I would share some "none-spoilerish" details on what to come - Chapter 13 is about Kakashi, Akashi and Sakumo, Chapter 14 is about the conclusion of that fight, as well as the Kages vs the headquarter stationed shinobi, Chapter 15 and 16 is the conclusion of Naruto's fight against the Konoha Edo Tensei, and Chapter 17... Well, I'll keep that secret for just a while longer

Now each of your chapter is showing one fight and i'm kinda liking it. Team Edo Konoha VS Naruto alone. At starting i was afraid that it will be a fair fight or not coz its really hard to maintain 8 strongest shinobi vs one man. But you managed to pull out a 100% fair fight and i'm happy,very happy
