Agreed, its far beyond the kid-like action in Avatar: the last air bender, Character detail is amazing and perfectly put together and the characters actually look mature and real

Trying to compare LoK to ATLA is difficult really; its like trying to compare The legend of konohamaru to Naruto. Aang achieved world peace between the benders, and Naruto is well on his way to do the same with the shinobi world.

It's kinda hard to create an entire new series, when you had already finished it and created "peace" the greatest of endings. However, despite all this, I thought they did a terrific job extending the story. They brought discrimination between benders and non-benders into the mix, and now they're going deeper into the spirit world.... Which is what I've always wanted to see btw.

So if you're looking for a recommendation... You've definitely got one from me xd

P.S. the legend of konohamaru does sound a bit interesting lol

Definitely worth watching, but not quite as good as A:TLA. Reasons include a far more interesting villain than Ozai, way better fighting -in fact probably THE best looking combat in all of animation, a couple of very awesome characters mixed in that easily rival those of the original, flash backs to the original characters, a much darker story, and overall a very high level of storytelling. That this isn't as good as A:TLA does not mean this is a failure, far from it. It just goes to show how incredible the original really was.
