I dont know if this has already been said but episodes 290 and 291 is about the past. So why is it that they prepare for Kabuto? Or already know who was going to be in the war?

What I'm thinking is that either Kabuto or someone turns back time or erases everyone's memories. Because everyone in the war was surprised to see all the fallen comrades. Maybe the monster or what ever kabuto is looking for also has to do with no one knowing. Does anyone else think this too?

It's the Power arc, basically a filler arc commemorating 500 episodes of Naruto and Shippuden together. I haven't seen it, but I will be watching it, which is rare for me since I don't like filler all that much. The art style for this arc is beautiful, and it's made like one of the movies, so it's better to treat it like that instead of mere filler.
