Pulled herself from the scene
The yelling slowly dying
Alone in her room
Away from the world and it's treacherous problems
The music pulled her feet
Her shoes stepping flawlessly
Never losing perfect balance
As she drowned out the problems
The notes were her partners
And her thoughts cheered her on
From the table the knife's glare caught her eye
The tune died out as she stalked to the knife
The roar of voices gave her no second thoughts
As her blood stained the floor she knew it was over.
Her eyes closed shut as her Last Song played in her head
