I wouldnt say that. As we saw the last chapter of their fight, they were going toe to toe with fists and kicks(taijutsu) and the final rasengan clash(ninjutsu)

And sasuke didn't use any genjutsu against naruto because he knew that naruto would snap out of it or naruto wouldn't get into it.Lol
Just like sasuke didn't use shurikens against naruto because he knew that naruto would dodge or block them easily.

It was all for the plot of Naruto and Hinata's love story.

Naruto had to recollect on all his memories pf her and that was just the easiest way to do it. Plus, Naruto wasnt even aware he was under genjutsu since he was trying to observe what was happening because it actually meant something to him.

Base on the fact that sasuke one shotted all bijuus(80%) and the last movie that naruto fell victim to a strong genjutsu, we can conclude why sasuke didn't use solo glance on naruto. Moreover, running head on to naruto's rasenshurikenbijuudama should be the last thing ninja would do, so obviously sasuke is trying to prove something

It's a nice movie. But people were saying that the last scene proves hinata can fly and has rikudou chakra. So since we are ignoring movie scenes that were done for feels, I thought I'd post this one, as this has more important implications.

Meanwhile sakura could break out of the genjutsu while a perfect jin could not. Plot. Either ways, as the movie is canon, I will take as confirmation that sasuke can solo naruto with genjutsu.

It was never stated they couldn't be put under genjutsu; only that the bijuu can potentially free the host from its effects. That's why itachi could place bee under a genjutsu, and take advantage of the time it took to break it. Also, some genjutsu, such as tsukuyomi, are stated to be unbreakable by anyone outside the clan, even with assistance. The bijuu also has to detect the genjutsu, or they won't know to break it.

Kurama not linked with naruto. Thats why he had no strings in bjiuu mode and serperate without dying.

Did you forgot that Yagura, the 4th Mizukage and the Jinchuuriki of the Three-Tailed Isobu was also a Perfect Jinchuuriki + Killer Bee was too, yet they were still vulnerable to genjutsus?

- Yagura was controlled via Genjutsu by Obito.
- Gyuki the Hachibi needed 15-20 seconds to free Killer Bee from Sasuke's genjutsu and Itachi's too!

So no, you misunderstood: Jinchuurikis are STILL can be affected by genjutsus, but if their bijuu is able (still have enough chakra etc) to free them, yet they need time to do that.
