I noticed during the part of the teaser where it shows a few flashes of narutos new outfit, that naruto has his wrist cuffs down on his right arm only and he has bandages over his right hand. I assume this means that the movie will be canon considering he's covering up the yang seal.

It's Narutoverse. People have bandages for all kinds of reasons. And even if he has the Yang mark, doesn't necessarily mean the story itself is going to be canon.

Yeah, but why would it be just his right arm? It's pretty obvious that his reason to have a bandage is simply to cover the yang seal. It most likely is canon.

I don't get it, if the movie is gonna be canon and set after the manga, wouldn't that spoil everything for anime viewers,given that anime is far from over and movie comes out on december 6 this year..

I highly doubt they take in account that people just watch the anime, and don't read the manga when making movies, video games ect

I have a feeling that once this battle ends Naruto will lose the yang seal, the bijou including Kurt ma with absolutely no trace left and the six paths senjutsu and will revert back to his regular base self along with the regular sage mode.
Sasuke will lose his Yin seal, the chakra boost he got from Hashirama as well as the power he got from Kabuto pumping him with Hashirama's cells along with the tomoed Rinnegan and will revert back to his EMS state
As for the bandages, just like the respectable person above me said it's probably due to him practing a new Rasengan or something
