Has the entire list of all the counties the movie will be released in been revealed? I find it unfair that America doesn't get the movie despite us being the 2nd biggest country to be filled with Anime/Manga. Especially how Viz is with Shonen Jump japan.

Could it be that the distribution company doesn't want it to be released in america? TOHO or something?

They just want it to be dubbed in English first. Trust me, they'll get Battle of Gods numbers or even better. That was a limited release that overperformed. I feel like they could be dubbing the movie right now for a close to Japan release but won't announce it until a month or two before hand.

You want to know why?
> Madman Entertainment aren't lazy like Viz are.
> Madman Entertainment is the reason Australia is getting an Theatrical release.
> Viz not subbing The Last: Naruto The Movie is why America isn't getting an Theatrical release.
> So It's bc of Viz, that your missing out.
> Quality over Quantity m8.
/Thread.

> However, I wonder how long we'll need to wait for The Last: Naruto The Movie. to hit Australian stores so we can buy Naruto: The Last on DVD/BR! At that point, we won't even need people to sub the movie!

> Still, I got my spot in the theatrical Australian release of The Last: Naruto The Movie. #GG

Would I prefer it to be release in the West already, hell yes. Do I see it as 100% plausible? God no.

Unfortunately, despite the progress this industry had made over the last decade or so, licensing anime films and such is still a tedious and prolonged experience. And for those wishing for the dub to be release, tough luck as well. It takes a lot to pull away voice actors and put them into a separate project, plus consider the fact that many of this actors may have to pulled from an entire series altogether top go work on something else that they were signed on for.

It could basically come down to big business, scheduling, and quirks in the system as to why it takes so long to get a film from overseas.

They brought Battle of Gods and Road to ninja to American Theaters...be it 4+ months after. If i remember correctly, this is the first time they have mass shipped a Naruto movie to other countries. It only makes sense to bring it to the US...idk, i'll wait before giving up completely

Yet Madman Entertainment is probably smaller than Viz, yet here they are treating it's people to this movie way quicker than Viz ever have in recent times. Lol & I told you, It makes sense. However what is and what's true aren't always the same thing, I never said they won't bring the movie, I said don't expect it soon bc that's how Viz is. Just hope you're not defending the reason you're not seeing The Last: Naruto The Movie in Good Quality, W/Good Subs, any-time soon! Lol

"They" didn't do anything, Madman Entertainment are not Viz. XD
