I'd love to see it as the next arc.
Considering that there's going to be a lot of fillers, I wouldn't mind it if they use the story of the Last.
For those who hasn't seen it (it comes out on DVD next week I think), here's a quick review.
I'll avoid spoilers as much as possible.
The first 10 mins involves what happened from the first time Naruto and Hinata met (like 4-5 yrs old) all the way to when they defeated Kaguya +2 yrs.
I really liked Toneri and his story. He's very mysterious and lonely. He's pretty much Madara (but Senju)
So let's say that if you reverse the role of Hashirama and Madara, Toneri will be that evil Hashirama.
That Hashirama would then steal byakugans.
Yes he was also defeated in the most absurd way like Madara got backstabbed by Hashirama (i think someone here has it as his sig)
Then a backstory of Hamura very similar to his older brother (establishes order, becomes divided into 2 faction and war breaks out)
Similar to Indra and Ashura, the fight for power or for love.

I'd love to have an Indra, Ashura, Byakugan clan and Toneri's clan.
There's a lot of material that they could use for the next arc. They could do the arc where Indra and Ashura went to war as well as the main (byakugan) and the branch (body) otsutsuki family going to war. And how some went to back to Earth and started their own clan to get away from the moon war (speculation)

The reason why I say Byakugan clan and Toneri's is that Hamura went to the moon and watched over his brother's world and guarded mommy's body in the moon.
I also hated how Sasuke was just a cameo in the film (I think he was shown for like 10 sec max in the entire movie, not sure whether he's also at the wedding, could've been Sai)
