It took a full-fight against Madara using the Nine-tails to exhaust him. Who or, what sort of army was capable of exhausting him?

Regarding Madara's specific knowledge regarding the 8th gate-release (Your 3rd point):

Gai was emanating with blue-steam when he had released the 7th gate and Madara had taunted him to come at him when emanating red-steam (aka the steam that emanates when someone releases the 8th gate). The 8th gate was so strong that it was almost about to destroy Rikudou Madara. Anyone below that level couldn't have fought against someone who released the death gate and lived.
Someone who is disciplined and strong enough to perform this release would not just show him for the sake of a demonstration?

Did someone who had witnessed and lived long enough to somehow tell it, had told about it to Madara? If someone has, how did Madara and his ego live with this knowledge of such a power?
Or, did zetsu had seen Gai's father use it and told Madara about it?
Or, was it Madara that had used it and unlocked his Rinnegan (rather reaching old age) by doing it?

Could you be a dear and specifically answer my questions on at least the Uzumaki by citing your resources?

I couldn't really find complete answers to them.

An army who had combined power equal to Madara and Kyuubi?

Kakashi knew about the 8 gates back in Part 1. Why wouldn't Madara know about it?

Did Kakashi knew how someone opening the 8 gates would emanate red-steam?

And I'm awaiting your response regarding the Uzumaki.

I dunno .

Kakashi who although sometimes vague, tells pretty much every detail there is to a concept, does not even talk about the different-auras and how they are tied to the gate-release when he talks about the 8-gate release. Yet, Madara has the knowledge regarding it and goes route of taunting Gai with this specific information.

Regarding Hashirama's death:
Konoha was established, gathering many of the stronger clans under its "roof" and Hashirama was pretty hell-bent on keeping peace. So how did it come to it that an army was formed that could exhaust Hashirama. Which nation(s) or village(s) was at the epicenter of it?

We know that Ginkaku and Kinkaku's coup attempt took place between a peace-treaty with Kumokagure when Tobirama was the Hokage. Yet, these siblings got eaten by Kurama although we know that Kurama was sealed inside Mito until it was transferred to Kushina.

So when did this war and Hasihrama's death occur? Who were powerful enough to kill Hashirama?

I guess the Last Movie will be the trigger to part 3.
It's confirmed that Kakashi is the Hokage, the movie is mostly focused on love story between Hinata and naruto.

ANd in all this, I don't see Naruto becoming the next Hokage.

I think Kishimoto is truthful when he says that he is done writing Naruto.

The movie will be the jump-off point. Kishimoto will likely end up signing the rights over to the anime development team.

Keep in mind that Naruto is TV Tokyo's top grossing anime. I think the anime writing team would actually be able to do a better job with the plot than Kishimoto would, at this point. I think he's getting exhausted and having to force himself for the sake of deadlines. That's taken a toll on the plot.

The anime team can build in extemporaneous plot that would otherwise be chaotic filler for the sake of developing major plot developments.

And they can also write a more air-tight plot with better adherence to rules.

Or perhaps I'm dreaming. Either way - I see the anime continuing while the manga will simply close where it is.

I agree with everything you said, and I really hope that the anime team does continue the plot. Kishimoto is too exhausted, and an anime team with a bunch of people can probably do a much better job than him now. I want to see some crazy arc with some Hagoromo/Hamura and Indra/Ashura backstory. I especially want to see Indra battle.
