IF the mystery man is Kaguya's *husband* (you'd have to be pretty nuts to be, good motive as a villain) then the film might center on relationships as a side-plot of sorts. This would be a terribly cliche way of incorporating a form of shipping into the film but that's an interpretation. If this was the case, bringing down the moon would be a way of returning her to him. Just some conjecture, it sounds cheesy to me though. The thing is, Hanabi won't jive entirely here.

For my money, it's related to Hamura specifically, but I can't think of a convincing narrative beyond what we're given at the moment. The above is conjecture on the theory that he was the husband of a rabbit.

You mean the pic where neither Naruto or Hinata looks happy? Anyways they already released that Hinata's sister gets kidnapped so it's going to be Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, and Hinata going to try and save her. That also makes it highly likely that Sasuke isn't in Konoha because of that.

This new guy is probly gonna be Hagoromo's brother, Hamura Ōtsutsuki. He will probably take a role similar to sasuke has, and Naruto will continue against the fight against him sasuke and their followers. The manga didnt reveal anything about Hamura except that he helped seal Kaguya the first time.
