'Tis warm!
O 'tis yet warm,
The kiss that she placed
With quivering lips upon my lips.
"My Love!"
She called me 'far,
To kneel beside her bed,
And hear her voice so soft and faint.
I knelt
And bowed my head
So nigh her lips to hear
Her parting words of love and cheer.
A word
She whispered not;
But sighed and deeply breathed,
My lips she kissed, then passed away.
