Something to share just for the heck of it, but has just announced that The Last: Naruto the Movie will be coming to New Zealand and Australia respectively, with both subtitles being produced by Madman Entertainment and retaining the audio tracks. An English version of the trailer for the countries have also been released in preparation.

Release Date: January 17, 2015.

Madman Entertainment's statement:

Madman Entertainment is very excited to confirm that THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE – the conclusion to one of the most popular franchises of all time – will screen as a special theatrical event in January, 2015.

For one day only, fans will be able to see THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE, soon after its Japanese theatrical debut, as a Reel Anime special event in cinemas across the country on January 17, 2015.

The moon is approaching dangerously close to Earth! Unless something is done, the moon will disintegrate, showering the earth with gigantic meteorites. As the clock ticks towards the end of the world, can Naruto save the earth from this crisis? The final chapter of Naruto’s story unfolds!

Fans won’t want to miss the exciting conclusion of this epic story, fifteen years in the making! Created by Masashi Kishimoto, NARUTO began serialization in 1999 in issue 43 of Weekly Shonen Jump (which went on sale on September 21, 1999) and continues publication in the same magazine.

Volume 1 of the NARUTO manga went on sale on March 3, 2000, and the latest, Volume 71 hit the stands on November 4, 2014. Total circulation of Volumes 1 through 71 in Japan has topped 130 million copies.

NARUTO boasts huge popularity abroad as well and the manga is distributed in over 35 countries and regions. Over 75 million copies have been sold abroad (as of September 2014), pushing total worldwide sales past the 200 million mark.

The anime premiered on television in October 2002, and the current series, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN is broadcast by TV TOKYO every Thursday at 7:30pm.

2014, which marks the 15th anniversary of the serialization, will see the start of a new undertaking, “Project NARUTO: Dawn of a New Era.”

THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE is confirmed to screen at 18 locations across the country on January 17th, 2015:
