i dunno, actually. It's a possibility that Sarada is an orochimaru test. It would make an interesting subplot in the new manga.

Or more likely, she's the fruit of one night stand. Sasuke had rushed *** with her after sakura begged and chased him, to make her happy. It was everything she asked. He knew she had feelings for him, kakashi and Naruto were saiyng that Sakura was a great girl and after all he had no option as she would never give up him... Canonically Sakura is not ugly, so why not. But he doesn't love her enough to want to live in the same house and share a life together. Like most people, he thinks she's annoying and childish and is relieved when she's away taking care of her daughter that he never had curiosity to know.

He is a piece of shit father is the only explanation. He literally sets his own schedule and can take a break and come home whenever he wants and chooses instead to stay away for a decade. He does not even communicate with his family or ask for how they are doing or a picture to see what what his daughter looks like growing up. He can fly as fast as a jet and teleport but can't bother to come home. Now come on the only explanation is that he does not want to come home. Maybe Sakura guilted him into a one night stand and then got pregnant forcing him to marry her. He still did not like her though so he came up with any excuse he could think of to stay away.

Well apparently Goku never kissed Chichi and they have two kids in super. So it is possible in these shit forced shonnen pairings that only come about to create kids for the next generation.
