I think that the series has brought alot of suspense to the commited few who still watch and read teh series. In my honest opinion I believe that Kishi sensei has already finished the series, Because as fellow Mangaka Artist (probably Chunnin lvl Mangakaxd) Even if we are just reading the most recent chapter, You have to think about all the time they spend on each chapter. For me, It doesnt take longer than an hour to complete at least 20 full length pages with pictures and dialogue (not includng a script because I just free hand everything. _) anyway, What I mean is basically if you break it down, an average chapter outline sketch takes no longer than 45 to 75 mins to complete if you are good and know what you want to portray ( which Im already guessing Kishi sensei has planned for his series) Now with that being said, the average volume I think has like ten or eleven chapters. (correct me if Im wrong) but if you put that together, 10 chapters x 20 average pages equals 200 hundred pages, all done in about one day... 200/24= roughly twelve pages an hour, but since its obvious he doesnt work all day I would assume he works about 10hrs a day, to that about 200pgs/10hrs= 20pgs an hour ( give or take.) As I was saying, I think he has already finished the series, but he still has to oversee all the steps to having the chapters released back to back, So he is basically knocking out at least 3 volumes a week.. Not to mention all the dialogue and inking. So the series is either done, or near done by now, its just a matter of releasing the rest of it. You are free to say what you want, but for me thats just about the jest of it.

Takes only an hour? That's a long enough work week for me.

Are ya kidding? It is at least ONE hour per simple manga page. For landscapes, it can take the whole day.
If you didnt try, you dont know.
And about finishing it already, I dont think so. I think that he is now drawing 620-630 or something like that. OBVIOUSLY he didnt finish already

Hahah Well, like I said Im only about a Chunnin Mangaka, Im really only a character designer and story artist. I really don't know, Im really just assuming from an artist to artist point of view. I mean, even with all that extra detail and other stuff, its not really that hard to get something done, if you already know where you want to go with it, Since Kishi-sensei has already said he knows how he wants to end it, And where we are now...Its not too long. If he has made it up to 620 -630 (as you stated)....That still explains the point to my whole rant.....Even if we are on a certian chapter doesnt mean that he hasnt already ended it and is making up wait.....Im basically cringing to see the end, Like I wanna fly to japan or wherever he may be and see for myself. Thanks for the insight though, Hopefully my material will pose the same amount of work.

Uhm, partially, you are right. I don't think he finished the entire manga, but the chapters come out every Wednesday online, but they don't appear in the stores till the Monday after. So he is at least one chapter ahead, I would say.

But Kishi also has other jobs than just drawing/writing. For instance the anime, I believe he needs to look through it every time, before it can be released. Also Kishi writes other stuff sideways to the manga. Like his Sasuke novel, or the databooks, to mention those I know of. He also needs to draw a lot for the databooks.

Whoa whoa...is there such a thing by Kishimoto himself?!
