LoK was a disappointment, it had it's moments, but no spin off will ever be better than the last airbender.

Korra isn't complete yet. Remember, LoK was supposed to be a mini-series, so it wasn't gonna be as good as Airbender. Now that they're gonna have more, we'll have to wait and see how Korra goes to actually answer this. Since Airbender has a nostalgia factor that is undoubtedly gonna affect everyone and Korra isn't done, it's not really the right time to answer.

I like Korra more than Aang though.

Well LoK's first book packed more of a punch than The Last Airbender's first book did so I have to give it that...but Korra totally focused on the wrong things. Focusing on awkward love triangles and introducing secondary characters, Korra needed to go into the suppression of non-benders and add more depth to the 3 main characters.

The Last Airbender is a masterpiece of a show that balanced humour, action, threat and character development and it may just be one that can never be topped.

I did not like the ending of korra; as they made the villain look stupid.

However I did like season 1 of Korra much, so much that I enjoyed it more than Last airbender.

I also enjoy Korra more than Aang.

Buuuut I have no idea how they are going to create season 2; because now she has all the power which means humans cannot fight her (which is lame). Let's see where it's going.

I like the Original better. Seeing the characters from the first series have sons and daughters in LoK made me happy though.

Gotta admit Tenzin is a Badass... Guess that's what he get's for being Aangs son.

The nostalgia is strong in these parts.
LoK isn't even over yet so there is little point in comparing it to a show that already finished its entire run and struck most of us at an impressionable age.

No, Sokka is the solo king of TLA.

OT: You can't really compare them, Korra only has one season. If we compare both season 1s, TLA wins beside animation.

LoK by far had the cooler villain at least in the first book . Amon was pretty bad ass ..

But the last airbender was hilarious,creepy at times,action packed and followed the plot very well .. not straying from it on side episodes .. and "filler" if you will . Zuko was bad ass ..

So im going with Aang and company on this one XD

Lin Beifong was the only good character, BOSS like her mom

Tenzen was a good character and his boy was good comic relief like Soka, also the villain was pretty good despite how people may feel about his ending.

LoK was good and I can't wait to see how they do with 3 more seasons, but as others said Airbender was something different, it was fresh when it came out(to me at least) and Korra already had a lot to go against trying to live up to it.
