The Kurama phenomenon: Is minato really a jinchuuriki?

Okay so my reasoning as to why minato isnt a jinchuuriki was off, however it still doesnt discredit something important. Minato is actually a pseudo jinchuuriki instead, & to go even further than that, naruto is a pseudo jinchuuriki as well, neither of them are actually jinchuuriki who by definition are supposed to house a tailed beast, not part of it, let me explain:

The Yin Release (陰遁, Inton; Viz "Dark Style" or "Shadow Style") techniques, based on the spiritual energy that governs the imagination, can be used to create form out of nothingness.

The Yang Release (陽遁, Yōton; Viz "Light Style") techniques, based on the physical energy that governs vitality, can be used to breathe life into form.

When looking at the definitions, my initial thought before "yin" kurama was "Well if minato only possessed the spiritual energy that is also present within the uchiha, then it would only make sense that yin kurama would have no "soul" or consciousness & thus simply be an embodiment of chakra (similar to susanoo)."

But then after yin kurama spoke I had to re-evaluate my conclusion, for a while I actually thought that minato was an honest to god jinchuuriki...But then it hit me, & the answer was quite simple really. Neither him nor naruto are in fact jinchuuriki, they are simply two parts of the whole definition. Kurama & yin kurama aren't separate bijuu, they are 1 bijuu who is separated, there is a difference.

So in conclusion, minato is not a jinchuuriki & neither is naruto in fact, they are both pseudo jinchuuriki because they only possess pieces of the entire bijuu. Kurama is the living embodiment of, well...kurama. & yin kurama is just the spiritual embodiment, you need both to become complete & thus an actual jinchuuriki.

This also still explains why minato can be an edo jinchuuriki, because he isnt really one .

Well imho it makes logical sense, unless being a jinchuuriki simply means housing part of a bijuu.

I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish here but if you can, explain whether an "actual jinchuriki" would have any advantages or not over a "pseudo jinchuriki"

No advantages & I'm not trying to accomplish anything here. I'm just stating my thoughts on what yin kurama really is, & now that we know the truth I would just like to inform the forum.

Basically what I'm saying is that naruto was never a jinchuuriki to begin with, I have no "aim", I'm merely just being informative *_*.

Not exactly, see that was just chakra which wasnt sealed & separated by yin/yang. That chakra can logically regenerate & therefore doesnt really change anything.

Same with the kin & jin bros, they ate kurama's chakra, however that chakra can recover.

He is a real jinchuriki... How many times has kurama himself called naruto his jinchuriki?? Your theory is off because of this.... Muu is a ninja who is able to split his body and soul into two equal parts and live his life a human the only thing is that his power will be divided by half but each part is still the same Muu with all his personalities, the same thing applies to Naruto/Minato/kyuubi the Kyuubi is currently divided into 2 bodies and souls one in Minato and the other in Naruto. That's not pseudo but half powered Kyuubi and that half power alone is enough to wreck hell.

Yeah they way he refers to yang kurama as his "other half" implies that they are two halves of a whole. Unless the viz says something different then they seems to be connected as you said but connected as parts.

turns out everyone is a jinchuuriki, naruto has a half kurama/became a jinchuuriki, gold/silver brothers ate from kurama became jinchuuriki's, minato used DDS and became a jinchuuriki.

kurama's power/chakra is all over the place, and i think it's obvious that this won't be explained since we are at the end.
