Her making contact with him only makes him blush even harder. Patrick laughs lightly. "W-Well... I'll be honest with you. Uh, you see... I'm very shy around women..."
Indigo stops poking his face and looks into Patrick's eyes. "Really? Sorry about that. I probably made you really uncomfortable...." She says, moving back a bit, thinking that that might help.
Patrick frowns, his eyes meeting hers as well. "Oh no, no. Please don't feel that way." He even gets really brave and places one hand on Indigo's shoulder. His eyes wander down to the floor before he looks at her again. "You were having fun, and... I was, too." A small smile crosses his face. "I just wanted to tell you the truth about me."
Indigo looks down at Patrick's hand that's on her shoulder then back at him. She smiles and says, "Well I'd rather have you being honest instead of a liar."
Patrick's smile widens as he lets his hand fall to his side again. He can feel how hot his face is as he shifts in his chair a little. "Thanks... M-Me too." Then, he sighs a little. He can't believe that he didn't have anything better to say than that.
Patrick laughs nervously, scratching his head. "You... You do?" He looks to the floor once more, but he's smiling. "No one's ever said that to me before..."
Patrick's eyes widen, and he has no idea how red his face probably is, but now, he doesn't care. He looks at her hand this time and then looks back at her. He smiles. "T-Thank you, Indigo. That... really means a lot. You have no idea."
Patrick thinks for a second and then replies. "Maybe just a water, if that's alright." He looks down at his watch again. "Unfortunately, that's about all I'll have time for anyway."
Patrick smiles at her a little as he takes the water. "Thanks." He takes a sip before speaking again. "So, Indigo... I-I hope you don't mind me asking. But... may I see you again when I get off of work? I'm only doing a short shift today."
