[Horror] The Knot

Vast horizons await,
And nothing interesting is expected;
Sweat drips down my face,
To no destination I'm headed.

Walking weak and numb,
Sun is raping my skin.
Blood oozes down my leg;
My life is wearing thin.

Each breath is a second towards death,
Whom I'll greet as a friend.
There's no need to repent my sins;
I'm going to die and transcend.

My throat is choke-full of ashes,
My guts are stuffed with needles,
My eyes are drowning in sorrow,
My heart is burning as hell.

Tired of nights dashed with stars,
And days brimmed with blue.
For crying out loud, just take me now;
Or give me a new pair of shoes.

These sands of time so meaningless,
I'm disturbed by the thought;
That the time's my only companion,
And it's just tightening the knot.​
