Note: You can choose upto two weapons, however you can use one set of dual weapons(e.g. two katanas) which still counts as 1 weapon. Heister, post your weapon and after that is done, Mugen Ryukyu, you post your weapon and make the first move.

each battle will last 7 days and if there's no clear winner the judges will pick one and if one doesn't reply within 48 hours they lose by default

As the match starts I turn around and bow while saying

Sanada Yukimura: Hello, and goodbye

*gets into my stance*

I suppose the weapons I will choose are a staff (resting across my back) and a katana, still sheathed.

*I bow you as you do and begin in a feet shoulder length apart stance*

While in the stance I take fast steps forward towards your location. Then placing my hands on the sheath of my katana I continue towards you. Once within an arm length I unsheath the top of my katana and take a quick jab with the butt of the sword towards your ribs. I then immediately resheath the sword, and take 3 punches at your rib cage, ending it with an uppercut.

*I bow you as you do and begin in a feet shoulder length apart stance*

While in the stance I take fast steps forward towards your location. Then placing my hands on the sheath of my katana I continue towards you. Once within an arm length I unsheath the top of my katana and take a quick jab with the butt of the sword towards your ribs. I then immediately resheath the sword, and take 3 punches at your rib cage, ending it with an uppercut.

As I see you take your stance, i take a stance of my own. slightly turned to the left. with my left hand up by my chin and my right arm slightly bend by my hip. Preparing my self for low and high attacks.


As I see the hilt of your sword I immediately used my right arm which was already low and catch your hilt with my palm. Then I get hit by your onslaught of punches my body moving with each hit, but as you uppercut I bend my torso backwards swiftly dodging your uppercut as you clip a piece of my hair. I then take my left fist and hit you clean across the chin, hitting you so hard that you stumble a few inches to the right.

* I then swipe my nose with my thumb and throw a few quick punches at the air, getting my blood flowing and preparing for your next attack*

 

[Heister]

*I stumble backwards and then take a few step backs (still in short range), I wipe the sweat from my head and regain my former stance*

Kuzan: Hmm, I haven't been hit that hard in a while. This shall be a good fight indeed.

After regaining my composure I begin my assault again. Using my height and reach to my advantage I first walk quickly towards you in my stance and deliver a right jab, following it up with a haymaker from my left. After this I punch three times at your ribs blowing you backwards, as you are losing your balance falling backwards I deliver a swift side kick into your midsection, cracking a few ribs

Kuzan:Is this all you've got?

 

[Mugen Ryukyu]

*I stumble backwards and then take a few step backs (still in short range), I wipe the sweat from my head and regain my former stance*

Kuzan: Hmm, I haven't been hit that hard in a while. This shall be a good fight indeed.

After regaining my composure I begin my assault again. Using my height and reach to my advantage I first walk quickly towards you in my stance and deliver a right jab, following it up with a haymaker from my left. As I see you walking towards I breathe outwards through my mouth and keep my eyes on you, being calm as ever.

I as I see your right jab coming I swiftly bat it down with my left hand, then once you let loose your haymaker I quickly raise my right arm and block it so the back of my arm connects at your forearm. You clip me with your fist but I don't take the full the force of blow. I then raise my right arm forcing your arm to extend aswell, and use my left hand to punch you twice in your gut.

Sanada Yukimura: A good fight it shall be indeed!!

As I see you walking towards I breathe outwards through my mouth and keep my eyes on you, being calm as ever.

Taking in the first blow I see you winding up for another one, and slap your arm away and inwards in order to evade the punch. Being caught off guard I take the opportunity to free my left arm and punch you square in the face. After doing I follow it up with a quick uppercut using my right first. Knocking you off balance and lifting you slightly into the air, as you are taken off your feet I lift up my right leg and deliver a harsh blow with my leg to you mid section, possibly breaking a few ribs

Kuzan: You may catch me once or twice, but it won't last much longer

I take notice that my left hand is rising and caught with your right hand making both arms useless at the moment. Keeping this in mind I pay attention to your left hand as you punch me in the gut. Taking in the first blow I see you winding up for another one, and slap your arm away and inwards in order to evade the punch. Being caught off guard I take the opportunity to free my left arm and punch you square in the face. After doing I follow it up with a quick uppercut using my right first. Knocking you off balance and lifting you slightly into the air, as you are taken off your feet I lift up my right leg and deliver a harsh blow with my leg to you mid section, possibly breaking a few ribs

Kuzan: You may catch me once or twice, but it won't last much longer

As you slap away my arm, I still watch your body preparing for anything. I see your left arm coming at me and I quickly duck dodging it, using the wrong manuever you catch me with your uppercut, taking full damage from the blow. While in the air I bring my head up with one eye closed due to the pain. Fighting through it I quickly slide my sword out from my hip still sheathed and I use it to block your kick. As your foot makes contact with it, it pushes me back in the air a few yards but it also damages your leg a little bit. A land a few yards away from you(Still short range)


Sanada Yukimura: *wipes blood from my lip* Looks like I severely underestimated you. Believe me it won't happen again.

As I utter those words I put my sheathe back on my hip and keep the sword in my hand.

Sanada Yukimura: Time to get serious..


I then throw the sword into air with the blade pointing upwards, as its traveling upwards I look at you and crack a menacing smirk.. as the sword begins to descend, I jump into the air meeting my sword in the air and do a semi backflip in the air kicking the hilt of the sword making it travel towards you at extremely fast speeds with the blade pointed at your chest.

I then land on the ground and begin traveling a few yards behind the sword.

 

[Heister]

*My leg is stopped by your sheath and I take a step backwards in order to regain my balance*


Kuzan: Hmm... pulling out your sword so soon? I suppose it is about that time where we begin to get serious. But I warn you, I will not hold back

*I watch as you begin to throw the sword into the air, and watch as you jump into the air. I keep my eyes peeled open and watch as you begin your backflip.*

As you begin your backflip I take notice that you are directly aligned with the sword. As you begin your kicking notice my eyes flare open O_O as I begin to realize what you are doing. I quickly grab the staff off of my back and plant it in the ground in front of me. As you are kicking the sword I use the staff to push myself up and backwards, keeping the front of my body facing you. I escape the sword before it impales my chest by only a few inches, cutting only the middle of my staff causing splinters to form on the outside of it

Kuzan: That was too close for comfort...

After landing a few yards back from my previous location I take notice of you walking towards your sword. I break my staff in half at the point of cutting by your blade, putting one half of it on my back, and the other half into my left palm. I then unsheath my katana and hold it in my right hand

Kuzan: Pick up your sword, Yukimura, and let's begin this battle to the death.

 

[Mugen Ryukyu]

* I walk towards you and bend down to pick up my sword and rest it on my shoulder, Then begin walking towards you while shouting*


Yukimura: Haha, Kuzan!! Lets this be a battle of legends, told over and over again to frightened children! Let this be a battle that make one of our loved ones cry and the other rejoice!!


*the sky begins to turn black and become filled with clouds, as it begins to rain something fierce*

Yukimura: Even the heavens itself weep!


I then run towards you with my sword dragging across the ground making a sharp piercing noise, when I reach you, i jump up and forcefully bring my sword down upon you.

occ: (your staff is strong enough to withstand strong sword strikes, it makes the battle more fun. Only stating this for witnesses)

 

[Heister]

*As the rain begins to fall from above, I close my eyes for a slight second and re-open them while saying:*

Kuzan: Yes, Yukimura, let this be remembered as a battle that comes only once in a generation.

As you run towards me I keep track of your movements staying completely still as you run towards me. As you jump into the air I take a slight step forward with my right leg in order to create leverage. I raise my katana and hold the staff behind it (in an X shape) in order to reinforce my sword stopping your strike. I then push you backwards with my sword and staff against your sword. After doing so, in one single motion I c.ock back my left arm and throw the sharpened part of the broken staff at your chest as you are flying backwards, impaling you in the chest. I follow it up by sprinting quickly and taking a quick slash from your left shoulder (my right) to your right hip (my left) causing a slash to open on your chest spraying blood forward and covering my body. The ground begins to become red as the rain washes the blood off of us. After taking the slash I jump slightly backwards, standing in a stance similar to the one posted below.

Yukimura: Hmph!


As you throw a piece of your staff I easily stick my sword up and place my hand behind it to reinforce it. As your staff makes contact it splits in half and lands behind me in two pieces. Suddenly i see you in front of me, As you slash I quickly dodgeroll backwards, barely but successfully evading your blade. As i come to the end of my roll I quickly gain to my feet while stepping forward with my right leg and pierce your stomach. As my sword is inside Of you, a huge clap of thunder strikes, as I take the blade out and you fall backwards to the ground.

I then put my head down and let the rain pour over my head, I put my free hand up to forehead and fling my head using my hand to guide my soaked hair back into place.

Yukimura: You were a great opponent..

Having never taking my eyes off of you, as I lose a bit of balance while continuing my slash, I quickly pull my sword back diagonally and parry away your sword before you are able to gut me in the stomach. Immediately after parrying your sword to the side I take a powerful slash at the sword again, knocking it out of your hands. (I assume since I am fully on my feet that I would be able to knock it out due to leverage, I should have the advantage strength wise because I'm hitting it at an angle). Immediately after hitting the sword out of your hands I pull my sword quickly back and slash down the middle of your chest, ripping open your stomach.

The wind comes to a stop as you drop to the floor beneath my feet, and I stare in the distance.

Kuzan: A great fight indeed, but there can only be one winner
