Who do you think is the key character that lend to the things happening right now in Naruto?
For me I think is Jiraiya because his decisions and believes made both Naruto and Nagato.
What do you guys think about PEACE? What do you think it means in Naruto.

Sasuke is the key character in Naruto's life. He made Naruto do everything.

Then again, one could say Minato/Kushina/Fox because they caused him to be lonely.

The key character spot can be heavily debated, or just shared between characters.

We all know Sasuke is one - Naruto's entire focus is on him. Their bond is the entire reason Shippuden was made.

Jiraiya taught Naruto and thus some of his beliefs and dreams live on through Naruto - like finding peace. That plays a role in the story.

Then there's Tobi. Oh, Tobi. The person behind the events that led to the death of Naruto's parents and ultimately the sealing of the Kyuubi inside Naruto, which caused his loneliness and made his life a living hell. Plus he's the main villian now, so...

Minato and Kushina. Without them sealing the nine tails inside naruto than there is no naruto manga.

Kakashi is one. If he failed Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura, wow...that would have been a turning point in the series. Those 3 wouldn't have become ninja.

Tobi, very true. Then we remember Madara and the 1st Hokage, thus we recall the Sage of Six Paths. He had to be born somewhere.....
