The Kamui Dimension's architectural design was modeled after Japanese Graveyards:

We know that Obito (like any redeemed character in Naruto) will have the chance to redeem himself one last time and foil the antagonist's (Madara) plan

Obito's death is inevitable, however I can't imagine Obito leaving a corpse behind in the battlefield that Kakashi can bury afterwards, it is likely that he's going to die inside the Kamui Dimension locking Black Zetsu and the Rinnegan with his corpse forever, foiling Madara's plan one last time.

This is what I think as well. It is best for him to seal himself in that dimension maybe he can take the rinnengan and black zetsu down too! That would be very helpful to the alliance if he could maybe to keep one rinnengan eye away from Madara. That's a definite possible nerf to Madara's raw power

Indeed, Kishimoto left Obito alive so he can redeem himself one final time.

Lol Obito tried to do that already but got rotflstomped, so this is a very likely theory

Kakashi's kamui would always act as a potential key though. Unless, he brings some asspull rinnegan sealing technique- it won't be truly sealed.

Oh my god, that sig XD

OT: Nice bit of trivia, makes more sense than Berlin's Holocaust Memorial :| But I still wonder where that dimension is in relation to the "real" world.

It's a common anime/manga trope that "pocket dimensions" get either sealed or destroyed permanently after its owner/creator expires either from the volition of the creator itself or through the "valiant heroes" trope's efforts.

I could see this happening, or at least Obito attempting this act since he doesn't want anyone to have the eyes he has right now. Whether he will be successful or not is another case as it's Madara's time to shine right now so he may keep having the plot on his side. Though I feel like Obito would succeed in this since it would be an act of redemption and since Kishi is keeping Obito alive, he will most likely redeem himself in this manner because I don't see how Obito could redeem himself in a better way other than this.

not sure about that. In Naruto, every single eye techniques remain perfectly intact even after the original user's death(Rinnegan, sharingans and even byakugans). Of course, kamui is a pocket dimension but still it would imply Kakashi would potentially lose his MS abilities. Seems like a lot of unnecessary complication to me and as Obito himself stated- kakashi slicing the rinnegan eye with a kunai seems like a far easier option.

Possible, but less dramatic from a literary PoV, it would be quite interesting from a writer's perspective to make the Kamui Dimension Obito's final resting place, and since the subtle connection in relation to Japanese cemeteries is there it's highly possible, and I really can't imagine Kishimoto opting to make Obito leave a corpse that can be reburied afterwards.

It could happen then Madara breaks another plothole by taking Kakashi's sharingan then going to the kamui dimension to get his rinnegan back

But that is where you are mistaken, the Ohtsutsukis are the Uzumakis, the name changed over the passing of eons, the bloodline remains the same you'll see ;)

Or do I need to point out to you that Kaguya is the Shinigami of the Reaper Death Seal Lol

Nice analysis. It is very plausible, but it would be anticlimactic wouldn't it? We need to see the full power of Madara and Kishi needs to deliver.

First and foremost, it is not Madara's power, it is the power of the Shinju, all these divine powers came from the Divine Tree.

Remember that Kishimoto's interview points to the return of the Juubi, humanity must make amends for his transgressions for stealing its Chakra. Moral didacticism entails the Juubi taking the main role.
