Well, why does it needs to be the strongest person in the village, that gets to be Kage?

I mean, wouldn't it be better to get a good strategist or something to rule the village? Then the strong ones can get out and protect with power.

Im not saying the Kages is bad at managing their village.

They follow different criteria such as skills, experience, reputation upbringing and senseis of a potential candidate.

Did you even read what 6 Paths posted? U_U Only Muu is stronger than Deidara in Iwagakure, but he was dead at Deidara's time.

Dat sh!tty explosions from Deidara are no macth for Ohnoki's Earth jutsu's and he could just use add-weight jutsu on his clay stuff, so that they fall to the ground. And Deidara's explosions can't get through Ohnoki's rock. Ohnoki can make an explosion large enough so that Deidara cant get away from it before getting atom-sized.

Deidara's bombs completely blow up his earth golem. A single C1 bomb blew it up, hurrrrrrrrrr durrrrrrrrr.

Add weight to the clay? Sure, but first he has to get close to touch it and Deidara can simply detonate the bomb and kill Onoki then.

A bigger Jinton? That takes more time to create, meaning more time for Deidara to blow him up.
