the kage have nothing to be ashamed of and here is why

1 madara grew up in time of total war between all the clans in the world. this world basicaly goes like this you get strong you live, you grow weak then you die. not to mention he fought a many of time the patriacrh of the senju clan over and over again. this led to him becoming enternaly powerful.

2 for you madara fans *coughs* madara was given the overall advantage in this fight from the get go. he had EMS, godlike fire manipulation tachniques and to top it off the ****in rinnegan. also lets not forget he can summon giant ass astroids from space. name one other ninja besides the so6p that can summon one let alone 2. nagato only used chibaku tensei he does not count.

3 the current kage basicaly are a softer generation. yes they fought in wars (well mei and gaara this is their first war). also age and exprince count for this. i mean the only person to have fought a rinnegan user and win is uzumaki naruto and even then he barely pulled that off. madara may have had the rinnegan for a shorter time but he has shown good skills with it. also who the hell has basicaly fought someone on his level in like several generations.

4 madara gained power by training and taking. he trained with what he took. he got the MS and trianed and later stole his brothers light and made it to the legendary EMS. also by the looks of it he even managed to summon a true god like sasunoo. so if harishima can still beat him then harishima is obiviously not weak.

in conclusion the kage gave it their all. but unfortunatly they were just out gunned and out lasted.

His skills were advanced far beyond what they were when he was still alive because of Kabuto.

Not only this but the fact that he was Edo, and possessed a near unlimited amount of chakra meant that the kages couldn't even try to out last him. Yes it was rigged, but calling the current generation of kages soft doesn't make sense when you look at the facts.

If Kabuto brought back the EMS/Rinnegan Madara that died, without his advancements, there is no way he could have bullied the kages around at all. Fact is the newer generations surpass the old, that goes for Madara and Hashi as well.

Two words: perfect susa-noo. One slash of it.. . Madara is toying with them, i think that this susanoo is an effect of many-years-training. Without ode tensei he would just turn susanoo on and smash kage's along with horizon. Hashirama win because of Mito's Uzumaki healing skills enchanted with Kyubi sealed in her(stated in manga by Kushina herself). Just..both powers of them is beyond imagination.

This would be the biggest troll in this manga if Madara disappears completely in the next chapter without Kage's sealing him, they are the leader of there village's, arguably one of the strongest shinobi in the world, and they can not take down one foe.
