@Post above^ But that is the anomaly, why would it bring total destruction to the world if it created it? and why only at the advent of Rikūdo's era? When the fruits of its' creation were in a state of constant strife? I think it does not stretch credulity that Jūbi's sudden antagonism towards its' own creation is Teleological, an act due to rational thought, that humanity's erring acted as the catalyst for it to bring destruction upon the world. And you seem to misunderstand the meaning of divinity, for divinity does not necessarily imply benevolence, The Jūbi being the embodiment of nature and the progenitor of the world makes it a divinity, regardless of its morality/amorality. And Madara becoming the final antagonist is antithetic to Kishimoto's idea of redemption, that there are no evil people, only misunderstood creatures, finally, the Jūbi is the Alpha and the Omega of the series, I see no reason why it should not possess a consciousness in its' final form, and if we think about it, even if the Jūbi is resealed inside a Jin, that person will die and Jūbi will be set loose once again, so unless Naruto is able to convince it to believe in humanity, there can be no ultimate resolution to the ending, but for that to happen, the Jūbi must possess sentience, therefore my premise is material and substantiated. Lol
