[Spoilers] The Juubi's eye 12 Tomoe

I posted this before on the day the new Manga came out but didn't got any attention and people were too busy on other interesting threads.
In the new chapter(670), we see this scan:

See how the juubi possess 12 Tomoes considering that every circle has 3 tomoes.
The juubi as mentioned by the *********** and MangaPanda was sealed in Hagoromo and His Brother BOB, which would explain why the current Juubi has only 6 tomoe, but VIZ burned by theory into Ashes but i think there is still a chance as VIZ translations are done by freelancers.

Its still possible that it was split in half, but I wouldn't count on it

It does appear here to have 12 tomoes. I think that we will have to wait for next chapter before coming to a conclusion about whether the juubi was sealed into the sage or his brother too.

that is what i was thinking because as of right now we know nothing which could set an absolute prove for anything.

When using genjustu, it grows 3 tomoes but when using strictly ninjustu it deactivates the tomoe.

That explains why Taijustu is the weakness of a juubi host

we cannot make that claim as of right now because no one questions the so called official translation, but in the next chapters i think they are gonna revel the mystery behind the JUUBI.

I don't think there is any "mystery" left...Hagoromo explained it all, whether people like it or not. What else is there to explain? The brothers sealed the Juubi inside of Hagoromo, and then he split it into the tailed beasts. Simple as that. And the juubi has 9 tomoe in the fight against the shinobi alliance not 6. And that might be just because it didn't have the full kyuubi and the full hachibi, or its just a drawing error.

Yeah you're right, I thought after it transformed into it's almost final form that it gained more tomoe, but I guess not. Still, it's probably just because it doesn't even have the kyuubi and hachibi, the two strongest bijuu. Although when madara called the juubi back after absorbing all of the bijuu, it still only had 6 tomoe, and it had every full bijuu that time...well minus the half of the nine tails...i don't know, I just don't think there is anything left to say about the juubi.

This is a nice catch and seems to be intentional. I mean Kishi went out of his way to show that tomoe in the 4th ring, so you have to believe it was intentional. Yet, Kishi has made dozens of mistakes throughout the war arc and because of that, I'd give it up to a 50% chance of being a drawing mistake. Love the idea and the conspiracy behind it, but I gotta say its unlikely.

I've raised the issue of the juubi's eye before but no one payed it any interest. There is obviously a plot relevance to it but I guess there's more interesting things going on in the manga. It's not simply a drawing mistake as if you do a bit of research you will see many variations of the juubi's eye at various points in the manga, far too frequent to be a drawing mistake.
