Now that it looks like Madara is about to force Obito to use Rinne Tensei to make him mortal again in order to become the 10 tails jinchuuriki, something from a past chapter sprung my interest....
It seems people have forgotten about this blatant hint that Madara may have one of Orochimaru's curse marks on his neck...What does that mean? No idea.
Maybe kishi is just trolling us with the entire page.
It's possible that Orochimaru knew about Madara's plan. Look at how things worked out....Madara may have never come back at all if it wasn't for Kabuto using Edo Tensei on him. When Madara's body was taken/modified we are unsure of, but it was probably while Orochimaru was still around. Did he know that Madara wanted to become the 10 tails jinchuuriki? Without the wood style kabuto/oro gave Madara his plans might not have been possible.
Sasuke doesn't seem interested in becoming the 10 tails jin considering he only 1 chapter ago was planning on letting it burn to death. That totally failed though and who knows what the future has in store for us.
Since Orochimaru just transferred bodies, there's no way he can take Madara's, Sasuke's or anyone elses for another three years. At least I think so. However, I think he has unsaid motives beyond just wanting to see what Sasuke does. I also think that he knows a lot more about the Akatsuki and Madara's motives than we once thought.
Maybe I'm wrong and the one character in the series we could really call pure evil really did become a good guy, just because he thought Kabuto was lame.
What do you guys think? Kishi trolling us with the curse mark thing or are we finally gonna see something happen soon?
I've learned over the years to always just assume my first guess is correct when it comes to Naruto, as it usually is. (Tobi=Obito, the end of last chapter being a genjutsu, countless others...)
