You people might have read puppy dogs thread and believed it because it sounded good and new for a second.....but don't be fooled....
You can concur the following from those two images above:
The Juubi was at a distance of more or less than half a kilometre from Naruto and co.
In almost an instant, the Juubi covered that distance and struck both jinchuurikis, which is why Naruto called it "pretty fast"!
The are several wind clouds around the Juubi's body which prove that it moved from one place to another....
It has legs and it moves faster than most things in the Narutoverse.
Please don't develop the misconception that it is stationary or rooted to the ground, it moves when the Uchihas want it to move....
