(THIS THREAD IS NOT A RELIGION VS SCIENCE THREAD NOR IS IT TRYING TO ANSWER THE SECRET TO OUR EXISTENCE.)
Atheists are probably not gonna like this thread anyway
So let me just give you the 411 on who were talking about. Judas was the one of Jesus disciple that betrayeed him to the Jewish community for thirty pieces of silver. After doing the deed he felt an enormous amount of guilt and he decided to commit suicide.
I find interesting that they actually found a gospel aboit him that portrays him in a different light than the other gospels had done. Wherein the original four gospels he is portrayed as a traitor and a coward. This new gospel shows him as aman that followed Christ to the very end and followed every command without question. Jesus had commanded Judas to hand him over to the roman army and the jewish community to fulfill his mission here on earth. By being a martyr he takes off the sin of the world amd saves humanity from um whatever was oppresing them. Does anyone think that Judas actually did play such a role in Christs story?
